Karen.
The car finally stopped as we arrived at venue of the wedding. I sighed and opened my handbag, taking out a small makeup mirror.
There was nothing to do, so I closed it up and put it back in my bag. I opened the door and stepped out, breathing in deeply.
Everyone else stepped out and I looked at the magnificent building of the event center.
"Ummm. I need to go pick Stella up," Jordan said and I faced him.
"I'm walking her down the aisle," he explained and I nodded.
Kaden handed him the car keys and Jordan climbed back into the car, igniting the car and driving off.
"Let's go," Kaden said and I nodded, following him into the building. As we walked into the building, I looked around, not knowing where we were supposed to go.
"There they are," I heard Lycian's voice through my Vampire hearing and I looked far ahead to see Lycian, Lucas, and Roderigo.
We walked towards them and they lead us to the hall where the wedding would be taking place. There were already several guests there. I recognized some of the faces, but I don't think I have ever met most of them.
I saw Lucas talking to some guests and as he finished talking to them, I walked up to him.
"I haven't congratulated you on your wedding," I said and he faced me, smiling.
"Thank you," he said with a smile. I sighed and looked around the hall with my arms folded across my chest.
I recognized some of the faces in the hall as old classmates and friends, but I didn't know most of the people here. The fact that I didn't know anything about what's happening and the wedding plans made me feel like a total stranger at Stella's wedding.
"Karen, I'm glad that you're able to come to the wedding," Lucas said and I faced him.
"Why?" I asked.
"I didn't think that you'll have woken up when the wedding takes place," he said and I simply nodded, looking away again.
"I know that you should have been here to help in planning all of this, but the wedding had to take place because of Stella's mom," Lucas stated and I faced him again.
"She'll be leaving with her boyfriend to spain in two days and she doesn't know when she'll return," Lucas added and I nodded.
"It's okay," I said with a smile.
"Karen!" I heard someone call my name and I looked around to see Kaylee, Stella's mom approaching me with a wide smile. She was wearing a red gown, lots of flashy accessories, and wearing heavy make-up.
"Mrs. Kaylee."
"Awwn. It's been long I've seen you Karen," She said with a smile, looking me up and down.
"You've grown so beautiful," she said with a smile that I turned.
"Thank you. You're looking so gorgeous yourself," I said and she flipped her hair proudly. I was about to congratulate her when she looked behind me and smiled.
"Sorry, I'll see you," she said and walked past me to go meet a guest.
I sighed and shook my head. I looked over my shoulder as I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and I saw it was Kaden.
"Let's go take a seat." he smiled and I nodded.

The beat of the music was solemn and it filled the room. Soon, the singer's voice filled the room. It was sharp, high and beautiful.
I looked at the altar and saw Jasmine standing there.
She was Stella's bridesmaid. I rolled my eyes and breathed in deeply. I looked around to see Stella walking in with Jordan.
Her wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous.
She wore a strapless wedding gown with embroidery on her bodice. Rhinestones and pearl beads were sewn on her gown. She also wore a two-tier veil, with a matching crystal head-piece. She held a French rose silk bouquet.
Jordan was dressed in a navy blue tuxedo with a white wing collar shirt, holding her left as he walked her down the aisle.
The music faded as they neared the altar and Stella stopped before Lucas who was smiling and staring at her in a way every woman wants to be looked at.
His eyes were worshipping her and I smiled. I felt Karen grab my hand and I faced him, smiling.
I smiled as the both of them read their vows and the emotion filled the air.
"..........I promise to be there for you, in cold winter mornings, to warm you, on soft springs to watch our love grow, in our summers to play in the light of the sun, and in our autumn to kiss your fingers and say, it has all been worth it - every moment of our love," Lucas completed his vow and I smiled.
Stella chuckled and I sniffed. She faced the crowd and she smiled before facing Lucas again.
"Oh my, I don't think I can beat that," she chuckled and everyone burst into laughter.
"Okay," she said as the laughter died down.
"I don't really know what to say, but......I promise to hold our love as a love everlasting. I promise to be a nurturing wife, compassionate companion, and to always be on your side, always," Stella said and smiled.
They both faced the priest who was standing before them.
"Lucas Hale, do you take Stella Byrant to be your wife? Do you promise to be faithful to her in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love her and to honor her all the days of your life?" The priest asked and Lucas nodded with a smile.
"I do."
"Stella Byrant, do you take Lucas Hale to be your husband? Do you promise to be faithful to him in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love him and to honor him all the days of your life?"
"I do," Stella replied with an excited smile.
"The ring," the priest said and I saw Lucas reach into his pocket while Jordan handed Stella a ring. I'm glad to see that Jordan is doing this for Stella.
Everyone suddenly turned to look at the doors at the far end of the hall as they creaked and shut close.
A woman walked in and I stared at her curiously.
"I really hate to break all of this, but I have an important deal with the Hybrid."
