Chapter 176

  Garr.

  Maldoria.

I groaned in pain as I felt pain rip through my body. My blood was boiling and I was sweating profusely. My head ached badly and it felt like it was constantly being hit with rocks.

I felt like the pain was going to make me crazy. I tried to stand up from the chair and break the barrier spell, but I couldn't. I leaned back into the chair, sighing in frustration and giving up.

I was scared of what the lady would do to Karen and her baby. She now knows where they are thanks to the infiltration on my mind and she could catch Kaden and the others by surprise.

I had spelled the coffin so it wouldn't open until Karen is about to deliver the baby, but with everything that's happened today, I wouldn't be surprised if the Witch found her way around the spell or simply break it.

I grunted as I felt the pangs of paingwr stronger and stronger. I looked up as I saw a violet portal form in the air.

I recognised the portal, but could she really be the one. My question was answered when she stepped out of the portal.

  Katherine!

"Oh My God, Garr!" She gasped as she spotted me and walked closer to me.

"What happened to you??" She asked, panicking. She looked at my arm and gasped again.

"The hex, it has gotten worse!"

She tried to touch me, but the barrier spell pushed her hand away.

She looked at the air between the both of us and she stood up straight.

"A barrier spell," she said and she stretched out her hands in the air. Her palms glowed in a bright Violet color and I watched as she slowly took down the barrier spell.

I was so happy to see her. I felt so relieved to see her here.

She looked at my arm again and she reached into her pocket. She took out a small gem and showed it to me.

"I went to Claudius and he gave me this to nullify the hex," she said and I sighed in relief. She placed the green gem on my hand and I began to feel relief.

The relief was so sudden that it actually made me feel good about the pain in a weird way. I watched as the sigil on my hand disappeared while the green gem in Katherine's hand slowly turned red in color and then, disappeared into thin air.

I got up immediately smiling and feeling perfectly okay.

"Thank you so much," I said with a smile and Katherine returned the smile.

"I love you," she said and my eyes widened in shock. Before I could fully process that, she walked closer to me and she crushed her lips against mine.

Why the hell was she doing this? I asked myself and froze in place. She broke the kiss and looked at me with a smile.

I sighed, "I love you too," I said and kissed her again, grabbing her head from behind.

  *

I gasped as I snapped back to consciousness. I became aware of the pain I was feeling and I groaned in pain, gritting my teeth as my head pounded.

All of that was an hallucination. The effects of the hex was getting worse. I can't believe I would hallucinate something like that.

First, there was no way Katherine would know I was in danger now since we don't talk to each other again and second, how can I think that she would kiss me.

I wasn't worried about her kissing me, I was worried about what I would do if she did.

Would I really kiss her back. Would I be so selfish to kiss her back when she already has a Betrothed.

I groaned in pain and tried to break the barrier spell she had cast. I sighed and collapsed back into the chair.

I was too weak and there was no point in trying.

I looked up as I began to see a portal opening in the air. It was violet blue in color and I began to wonder if I was having another hallucination.

Katherine stepped out of the portal and I looked at her in surprise.

"Katherine," I croaked out, trying to determine if this was an hallucination or if it was real.

"Garr!" She gasped and walked towards me. She was about to touch me, but the barrier spell stopped her.

"Oh My God! What happened to you, the hex has gotten worse!" She exclaimes in the surprise and looked at the air between the both of us.

"K......katherine. are.....you r.. real??" I asked, groaning in pain and praying that this was not another hallucination.

"Yes, what are you talking about?" She asked and stretched out her hands to break the barrier spell.

I sighed in relief that it was real and I hoped that the part where she had a gem would also happen..

"The hex has grown worse, I can reduce the effects," she said to my disappointment. She placed her glowing palms on my right hand.

"Mauradius Keleme Bistro. Mauradius Keleme Bistro," she chanted and I began to feel relieved. The pain had reduced a lot and I felt a lot better.

I stood up and sighed. "Thank you."

"Garr, what's happening, who hexed you and why were you trapped here??" Katherine asked and my mind went to the witch who was on earth already and trying to kill Karen's baby.

  I can't let that happen

I faced Katherine and sighed, "Katherine, thanks for finding and helping me, but I don't want you to get involved in this," I said and Katherine glared at me.

"Garr, what's happening?" She asked curiously.

"Katherine, trust me, but you don't want to get involved in this," I said, but she didn't look convinced.

"Please Katherine, you have to go back and be with Michael," I said and she remained silent for a while before finally nodding reluctantly.

"Fine. I'll find an excuse to tell everyone," she said and I nodded.

She stretched out her hands and a violet portal began to form in the air.

She faced me as the portal fully formed.

"Bye. Take care," she said before walking into the portal. I sighed and watched as the portal closed.

Now. I have to do something to stop that witch before she harms Karen or Draco. I stretched out my hands and purple waves flowed out of them, whirling around in the air to form a portal.

As the portal fully formed, I dropped my hands and sighed before walking into the portal.
