Chapter 177

  Karen.

Every head in the church turned to look atrhe doors at the far end of the hall as they flung open. A woman walked in and I could feel the magical energy coming off her.

She was a Witch. A powerful one.

"I really hate to break up all of this, but I have a deal with the Hybrid," she said much to my surprise.

Who the hell was she and what did she want with me?

I stood up slowly and Kaden who was sitting next to me also did, using his hand to gesture me to stand behind him.

My heart pounded as I stared at the Witch. There was only one reason why Magicians could be after me and that was Draco.

It was barely two days since I came out of that coffin, and now they were already back with their pestering again.

"What do you want?" Kaden asked and the Witch slowly turned her head to face him.

"I don't think I have to explain that right?" She asked and I scoffed.

I looked over my shoulder to see Stella and Lucas standing at the altar. Stella looked frozen in place and I shook my head in pity. Our wedding was being ruined.

All the guests and visitors in the hall all looked confused and their glancing between me and the witch.

They had no idea what was going on and how dangerous things could become here today.

"Did you have to come now? Do you have to do this now?" Kaden asked and the Witch glanced around the hall.

She looked apologetic for a while but her expression changed into a smug smile.

"Sad, but this is urgent. Trust me, I'm not a monster. I wouldn't ruin someone's wedding for nothing," she said and I scoffed.

What other reason could she have? I mean other than the stupid prophecy and visions of my baby supposedly destroying the world.

If that was a reason for ruining a wedding then she was truly a monster.

"I see you're out of the coffin now so where's the baby? Where is the Tribrid?" She asked, glancing around the hall with her eyes scanning every inch of it.

"You are delusional everything that I will just let you lay your filthy hands on my baby!" I stared defiantly at her, already filled up with anger.

I looked around me and noticed that some people were already taken all their phones. They probably wanted to call the cops or take videos.

"Alcetrum," the Witch chanted and I watched as all the phones in their hands disappeared so God knows where.

They are frozen place looking surprised. Everyone already knew about the supernatural but it was not everyday that you get in which to perform magic before you.

"I'm beginning to lose my patience! I want someone to tell me where I can find that baby right now," she breathed in deeply.

I looked around the hall, scanning the faces of everyone in the room.

There were about 10 supernatural here so what can she do against the ten of us.

"You are alone, you can't possibly fight against all of us," Lucas said from the altar where he stood on and I saw the Witch's lips curl up into a smirk.

"I think I've had enough of people underestimating me," she smiled and I watched as scarlet waves danced around her fingers.

"This room is filled with so many people. How would you love this wedding to turn into a funeral?" She asked and I looked around in fear.

"Please, don't do this now," Stella finally talked and I watched as tears trickled down her cheeks. Lucas moved closer to her and he placed his hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

"I'm sorry but I have no choice," the witch apologized and I watched as his college waves dancing around her palms grew brighter and brighter.

"When then, no one's letting you get your hand on Draco!" I yelled at her.

The smile on her face wore off and she suddenly tossed a large blast of scarlet energy randomly into the hall.

I suddenly zoomed at Vampire and zoomed a guest it was about to hit out of the way.

The energy blasted the chair and it shattered, the pieces flying around.

All of the guests stood up immediately, their noise filling the hall as they looked for somewhere to hide.

I let go of the woman I had just saved and faced the Witch.

"Give me the Tribrid," she yelled and threw another blast of energy at me. I zoomed out of the way in time, but almost immediately, another one was already heading in my direction.

I couldn't run so I instinctively raised up my hand. To my surprise, my hand glowed in a bright golden color and the scarlet blast hit the golden shield I had created, dispersing into the air.

Oh my god!! My witch powers. I just created a spell.

"You need to leave here now!" Kaden growled at the Witch and he moved closer to her.

Before he could get to her, she snapped her fingers and an invisible force lifted Kaden up in the air and tossed him across the hall, his back smashing against the wall.

"How dare you!" I yelled angrily and dashed at the Witch.

"Celeste." She chanted and an invisible force hit me on the chest and threw me to the floor.

I grunted in pain and looked at her fuming and looking around the hall. I was glad that I didn't bring Draco here today.

"Fine. He's a Tribrid and he won't get hurt so I might just go ahead and burn this place down to find him," She said and I saw her hands glow again. They turned from scarlet to red and she stretched out her hands.

I watched in horror as waves of fire rushed out of her hands and traveled closer. All of a sudden, Jordan zoomed forward and stood in front of everyone.

I watched the wave stop before him and his body glowed in a faint red color. He was absorbing the magic used to create the fire.

"Get everyone out or here now!" He shouted.
