Jordan..
Lycian and I walked out of my room and I closed the door before walking next to Lycian. We stopped by Garr's room and Lycian knocked on the door, but there was no response.
I grabbed the door knob after Lycian had knocked several times and I opened the door slowly. I looked into the room and saw that no one was there. I saw he and Karen earlier.
"Let's ask Karen if she knows where he is," I said and Lycian nodded. I closed the door of his room back and we both walked to Karen's room.
Lycian attempted to knock on the door, but his fist bounced off the air before he could touch the door.
"Ouch."
I looked at the door and tried to touch it too, but the same thing happened. She must have casted a protection spell there so she isn't inside.
My hand was still close to the door and suddenly, I felt a strange urge to absorb the magic of the door.
It was the same feeling of blood lust after long deprivation, but I wanted the magic in the spell instead.
I quickly took my hands away as I fought the urge to do so and I moved away from the door.
"She's not here, let's go," I said and turned around so I could go back to my room. I suddenly stopped as I heard the door down the corridor blast open and I quickly covered my face to avoid being hit by the pieces of wood flying the air.
"What the hell??!"
I turned around and quickly stood in front of Lycian. I looked outside the door to see about a dozen men dressed in black and holding heavy weapons. I glanced at all of them, wondering what the hell they wanted when I spotted two faces I had seen before.
Bloody Hell.
I recognised one of them as Jeremiah who tried to attack me two days ago. The other one I recognised was the Sanctum official who kept staring at me today. I guess that's the Nathaniel I was looking for.
"What do you want?" I asked and I slowly moved backward as they walked towards the entrance.
"I think you managed to get that information in your way the last time we met," Jeremiah replied and I sighed.
I glanced at the other men standing behind them. They were over a dozen. I thought it was just him and his brother.
I looked over my shoulder as I saw some pack members walk into the corridor.
I smirked and faced Jeremiah and the others.
"And you were stupid enough to try and attack me in a pack full of Werewolves?" I asked, but Nathaniel scoffed.
"Don't worry about that, they'll be mundane in a bit," Nathaniel said with boldness and he stretched out his hands. One of the men behind him, handed him a device and I stared at it out of curiosity.
Mundane? I suddenly remembered the last time something like that happened and I was scared that it would be what I thought it is.
He powered on the device and suddenly, I felt the Vampire energy surging through my body disappear.
"Jordan?" I turned around to face Lycian and he looked scared.
"I can't feel my powers," he panicked and I sighed. I glanced at the other Werewolves around and knew that they had also lost their powers at the moment.
"It's a Silver EMP device, we hid away the blueprint and available ones, but I don't know how they managed to build one," I explained and I turned around to face the door again.
"You don't have to make this hard. Just come with us," Jeremiah said and I looked at everyone around. Everyone was powerless and fighting back would be committing suicide.
I wanted to do as they asked and go with them, but I felt this dark urge to fight against them.
One of them slowly moved forward so he could grab me and take me with them and I remained standing where I was.
"Jordan, no," Lycian said behind me, but I felt that I really had to go or I would be putting his life in danger.
I looked at the man approaching and as he got close to me, I felt that darkness in my mind cloud every reasoning I had just surrendered to.
Suddenly, a black blast of energy burst out of my hand and it hit the man in the abdomen.
Everyone gasped as the energy flung the man across the corridor and created a large hole in his stomach.
I looked at my hands in shock as I couldn't believe what I just did. Silver doesn't affect magic so I still had my Reaper abilities, but the most shocking thing was that the magic I just released out of me felt endless and dark.
I looked up as all the men at the door powered on their guns.
I didn't have my speed so by the time I saw the blue blast heading my way, it was too late. The blast suddenly hit me in the chest and the force flung me into the air and dropped me on the floor.
I landed on the floor on my back and I groaned as felt my bone crack. I closed my eyes in pain and my bones refused to heal up. Gritting my teeth, I felt a sudden rage take over me as the darkness clouded my mind and in that instant, I felt an automatic switch to my dark side.
I breathed in deeply and I suddenly opened my eyes. My eyes were completely black in color and I was seeing everything around me as an energy matter that needed to be destroyed.
I felt enraged and wanted to tear my enemies from limb to limb and watch them burn, but I also wanted to drain everyone around me or the life in their veins.
"Jordan!"
