Chapter 193

  Karen.

I sat down as Garr went through his shelf in his office. I stood up and went to his desk, casually going through the things on it. They were mostly papers about student projects, assignments and some magical journals.

There were so many magical terms in the papers that I had to idea about. Any student in this school would pretty much beat me in a magical combat no matter how powerful I am. There are so many spells and chants that they can easily use against me and I wouldn't even know what I'm about to get hit with or a spell I can use to counter it.

I wondered what teaching at this place looked like.

Thinking about it made me think about Hogwarts. Did this Academy function like the Harry Potter institution?

It must be cool to work as a Proffessor somewhere like this. I stopped on a particular document as I saw a list of houses in the school. Garr was the Master of the Taurus House and there were several other houses. I recognized the name of the Mistress of the Pisces house, Katherine and I remembered that it was the lady we met when we first stepped out of the portal.

"So..... Katherine," I said and Garr immediately stopped what he was doing and he faced me.

"What about her?" He asked and I could see that he was struggling to keep a normal expression.

"I saw the way you looked at her," I said, smiling, "are you two-"

"We were," he replied all of a sudden, interrupting my question.

  Were. Hmmmnn.

"I saw the way you looked at her and you two seem to be on good terms, was it a mutual breakup," I asked as Garr searched his shelf for books and made them disappear. He said it was a magical space that only the owner can access.

"Hmnn. Kinda," he replied as pulled out out a book from the shelf and I watched it glow in purple and disappear.

I tapped my fingers on the table, curious about what really happened and I asked, "What happened?"

Garr immediately stopped searching the shelf and be turned around to face me.

"I really don't want to talk about it," he said and I nodded.

"Okay, I've taken everything that you'll need, let's back," he said and he stretched out his hands. They began to glow and purple waves flowed out of them, I stopped him.

  "Wait."

He lowered his hands and faced me.

"I want to open the portal," I said and he placed his palms on his waist.

"Fine. You know where we're going well," he nodded. My palms began to glow in a bright golden color as I stretched them out and golden waves of energy began to whirl around in the air.

Slowly, the portal began to grow bigger and bigger and I finally had the feeling that it had fully formed. I lowered my hands and glanced at Garr before walking into the portal..

I gasped and jerked up. I panted heavily and saw that I was lying on a bed in a room in the same dark room as before, but I was not the only one here this time.

There were Witches and a few Wizards standing at the corners of the room.

I thought Witches couldn't practice magic here again.

There were candles surrounding the bed I was lying on and all of these Magicians were all quietly chanting magical words I didn't understand.

Magicians didn't usually do all of these: candles and chants. They just had to cast a spell by thinking of it and throwing their hands.

Why all this traditional things and why was I abducted.

I was not restricted to the bed by chains so I tried to climb down from the bed and I groaned as an invisible force held me in place.

I grunted and gave up, lying on the bed and breathing heavily. I tried again and groaned as I tried to stand up, but the invisible force held on to me.

I saw a Witch come forward and look at me, specifically, at my stomach.

She was a middle ages woman with a long red hair and bright blue eyes.

She grabbed a candle and rotated it over my stomach, chanting silently.

"What am I doing here? Why did you abduct me?!" I shouted, hoping that someone would just give me answers so I can know what I put myself into.

The Witch looked at my face and remained silent for a while.

"You're not here because of you, you're here because of the baby in your womb," she replied and I mouthed a surprised, "what?"

I looked at my stomach and glanced back at the Witch. She gave me a affirmative nod and I left my mouth open in surprise.

My mom also talked about my child in the dream. Oh My God. I'm pregnant.

Wait. Then what the hell did they want with my baby.

"What do you want with my baby?" I asked, gritting my teeth.

"You don't know what your child is," the Witch said and I stared at her curiously.

"Your child is dangerous and he will be the end of us all," the Witch said and I scoffed.

Was she crazy? He was just an unborn child!

"I don't know what vision or prophecy you got, but you can't point fingers at an unborn child," I hollered at them.

"And he will remain that way. He will die in your womb," The Witch replied and I gritted my teeth. I groaned as I struggled to get up again and I became more violent this time, throwing my legs and arms.

"Be still," the Witch said and I gasped as I forcefully calmed down against my wish.

"We won't allow an imbalance. We won't let you bring that abomination into this world."
