Karen.
"That wasn't me and that wasn't the Reaper," Jordan said and we went to sit on a bench in the training room.
I looked up as Lucas and Lycian walked into the room. Lycian went to sit beside Jordan and I looked up at Lucas..
"I called Darell and Sanctum Officials just came to take all of them away," he said and I nodded before facing Jordan again.
"Nathaniel's real name is Justin and that's why Darell couldn't find him," Lycian said facing Jordan, but I had no idea of who they were talking about.
"So what was it? You looked scary back there?" I asked and he looked up, silent for a while.
"It's when I absorbed the magic from Garr's hex," he replied and me and Garr glanced at eacv other. I knew that he seemed weird after absorbing the magic from the hex the first and the second time.
"It's like the magic is trying to control my mind and bringing out the Reaper was an easier way to take control," Jordan added and I faced Garr again.
"It's dark magic," Garr said and he shoved his hand into his hair.
"You should have talked immediately you noticed that feeling," Garr said, sounding a bit annoyed. I also asked him if anything was wrong, but he denied it. I should have pushed it that time, but I was distracted.
"She hexed me with dark magic so when you absorbed it, the dark magic started contaminating your mind," Garr stated and I looked at Jordan, concerned about what this might mean.
"Is there something we can do about it?" I asked, looking at Garr. He placed his palms on his waist and paced up and down the room, thinking about a solution.
"Yes, we can purge him of the dark magic," Garr replied and I sighed in replied
"Fortunately, the spells are in the the Grimoires we picked up from Maldoria," Garr said to my relief.
I stood up as I remembered that I had left Draco all alone in the room, sleeping. He might have woken up and might start crying.
"I'll be back," I said and I stood up to leave. I walked out of the training room and walked down to my room. I placed my hand on the door and it began to glow in a bright golden color.
I brought down the protection spell and opened the door, walking into the room and switching on the light.
I walked towards Draco's crib and looked into see that he was still sleeping. After we came back, I asked the maids to get some baby food and I added small bits of human blood. Fortunately, he was able to eat that too.
I smiled as I watched him sleep before standing up straight and walking out of the room.
I closed the door and put the protection spell back up. As I walked back to the training room and passed by Stella's room, the door opened and Stella walked out of the room.
Our eyes met and I expected her to show no emotion and just walk past me, instead, she smiled as she closed the door and she walked next to me.
"Karen, have you seen Lucas??" Stella asked and I looked at her in surprise. Just thirty minutes ago, she had been so mad at me and she didn't want to see my face.
"Oh, sorry, let me rephrase that," she said and stopped walking. I stopped walking too, looking at her.
"I'm sorry about how I acted earlier, I overreacted and I acted extremely selfish," she said apologetically and I nodded.
"It's okay," I smiled bleakly.
"It's actually my fault that Witch crashed tour wedding. If I hadn't been there she wouldn't have come," I stated and continued walking towards the training room.
"Lucas is in the training room, something's wrong with Jordan, his Reaper abilities absorbed the wrong kind of magic," I said.
"Wait," Stella suddenly said and I stopped walking.
"Where's your baby, I've not seen you gave birth," Stella said with a smile.
"He's in my room. He's sleeping," I replied and she nodded. She remained silent for a while before talking again.
"Okay. Let's go and see him," Stella said, pointing at my room down the corridor.
I glanced at my room and looked at Stella again.
"I thought you wanted to see Lucas," I said, pointing in the direction of the training room, but she shook her head.
"I was just looking for him out of curiosity. It's nothing," Stella said with a smile.
"Oh okay, but Jordan is really affected and Garr might need my help in casting the purging spell," I said, pointing in the direction of the training room again.
"Come on Karen. I just want to see him for 2 minutes and we'll go and meet the others," Stella said and I stared at her for a while before nodding.
She was behaving so weird. She wants to patch things up all of a sudden and she wants to see Draco so badly. I know Stella and she's not one to quickly let go not when it concerns a the disruption of a wedding that she had fantasized since highschool.
"Okay, let's go," I said and turned to facethr direction of my room. I've seen something like this before, but I wasn't sure if my suspicion was right, making the action I was about to take very hard.
With Stella walking beside me, I placed my hands behind my back and they began to glow.
"Celeste." I suddenly chanted and stretched my hands towards Stella. An invisible force immediately hit Stella and it flung her to the floor. She groaned in pain and I watched as layers of magical illusion disappeared off her and I gasped as I saw that it was the Witch that had attacked us at Stella's wedding.
I knew that couldn't be Stella. I was right.
"You!"
