Chapter 198

  Karen

"Come on Karen. I just want to see him for 2 minutes and we'll go and meet the others," Stella said and I stared at her for a while before nodding.

She was behaving so weird. She wants to patch things up all of a sudden and she wants to see Draco so badly. I know Stella and she's not one to quickly let go not when it concerns a the disruption of a wedding that she had fantasized since highschool.

"Okay, let's go," I said and turned to facethr direction of my room. I've seen something like this before, but I wasn't sure if my suspicion was right, making the action I was about to take very hard.

With Stella walking beside me, I placed my hands behind my back and they began to glow.

"Celeste." I suddenly chanted and stretched my hands towards Stella. An invisible force immediately hit Stella and it flung her to the floor. She groaned in pain and I watched as layers of magical illusion disappeared off her and I gasped as I saw that it was the Witch that had attacked us at Stella's wedding.

I knew that couldn't be Stella. I was right.

"You!" I pointed at her fiercely. She just wouldn't stop trying to get her hands on Draco.

I watched as she stood up to her feet and she shrugged.

"Gotta run," she said and she flung her hand at me. I felt an invisible force lift me up in the air and slam me against the wall.

I groaned, feeling my back bones crack and I gritted my teeth. She suddenly dropped her hand and I fell to the ground heavily.

She began to walk towards my room and I grunted as I slowly sat on the floor. I could feel my bones beginning to heal and I leaned on the wall.

There was a protection spell on the room, but what if she somehow finds a way to get in. I mustered the strength in me and stood up on my feet before zooming at Vampire speed and standing on her way.

"You're not going near that room!" I glared at her and she scoffed.

"Celeste." I chanted, flinging my hand in her direction.

"Disipirei," she snapped her finger and nothing happened to her.

"Is that really the only spell you know how to perform?" She asked and chuckled, "I'll be glad to teach you some."

"Incedius Interitum." She suddenly chanted and nothing happened for a while until I began to feel my blood boil. I froze in place, groaning and sweating . I could feel the pressure and the heat building up in me and it felt like I was going to explode like a volcano anytime.

"Hmn." The witch smirked and walked past me. I gritted my teeth as I was unable to do anything while she walked to my room. I mustered the will in me and slowly managed to turn around and face her.

She tried to touch the door, but her hand was pushed away by the protection spell. She hissed in annoyance and faced me.

I couldn't her go into that room. No!

"Incedius Interitum." I changed too and the Witch also began to groan, probably feeling that same way I was.

"Inceritum." She chanted and all the sweat oozing out of her face immediately dried up. Knowing the chant to reverse the spell, I did the same and I gasped in relief.

"Open this door!" She yelled at me in anger. I could see the frustration and determination in his eyes.

This was unlike what the Mages who were after me before looked like. They wanted to do this to supposedly protect the supernatural race and to gain honor, but she looked like there was something so important to her that she wanted to get by doing this.

"No!" I yelled back at her and I could see the rage in her eyes.

"Nexus." She chanted and I screamed as I felt everybone in my body begin to crack. I screamed even louder and fell on my broken knees in pain.

Was this how Werewolves feel when turning. The cracking of my bones echoed though the corridor and I screamed as my bones cracked over and over again.

"Karen!" I heard Jordan's voice down the corridor.

He zoomed forward and held on to me, zooming me away from the Witch.

"You!" Garr walked forward and his hands began to glow in a bright purple color.

Jordan placed his hand on my shoulder and was about to absorb the magic from the spell, but I stopped him.

"No." I pushed his hand away. He can't absorb magic now, especially not from a spell cast from the same Witch.

"Reveritum." Garr chanted and immediately, my bones stopped cracking. I was still in pain because of the cracked ones and I grunted as I stood up on my feet.

"Get out!" The witch bellowed and she flung her hands at Garr. He was immediately flung into the air and she was now directly in front of me and Jordan.

She clenched her fist and she pulled it towards herself. Jordan immediately began to be forcefully dragged towards her and she unclenched her fist when he was standing right next to her by the room's door. Her eyes were filled with desperation and determination.

She suddenly grabbed his hand and she placed it on the door.

"Siphonora." She chanted and I saw Jordan's hand glow in a faint red color. Shit! She was making him siphon the magic away from the protection spell.

His hands stopped glowing and she snapped her fingers in his face, an invisible force flinging him away and dropping him next to Garr.

She glanced at me before kicking the door and I watched it fling open. My bones were already healing, but I was still weak. I grunted a I crawled towards my room and I watched her grab Draco from the crib.

"No, leave him!" I shouted, and struggled to get on my feet. I looked sideways as I saw Lycian and Lucas walk into the corridor. They looked shocked to see Garr and Jordan on the floor.

"Draco!" I croaked out and pointed inside my room. The two of them quickly ran closer and went into my room.

The Witch dropped Draco on my bed and her palms began to glow.

"Ancendia" She chanted and scarlet waves burst out from her body, breaking the walls of the room she was standing away and flinging all of us away. I cried as I felt my back bones again and she went to pick Draco up again.

I tried to zoom towards her, but she pushed me back with a gust of wind, slamming me against the opposite wall.

I grunted as I struggled to get on my feet again, but she stretched out her hands and a portal formed in the air.

"No!" I limped forward to stop her, but she walked into the portal and it closed up before I could reach her.

I looked at the entrance door as it opened and Kaden, Raphael and Roderigo walked in.

They looked around in shock of how the place looked and I burst into tears. Kaden looked at me and he ran forward.

"Karen?" He held my face as I cried..

"Draco. She took him." I burst into tears again and he pulled me into a tight hug.

  "We're going to find him."
