Garr.
"I'll take care off her," Kaden assured Darius and Darius nodded with a bitter smile.
"Garr, I'll see you later," Darius said before and I nodded. He sighed deeply and walked to his car, climbing in.
I watched as he drove off and I could hear the wolves in the forest howling loudly.
"What about that Witch?" Kaden asked as we walked back into the building and he closed the door.
"We left her unconscious in Maldoria," I said and Kaden placed his palms on his waist, his forehead creasing into a frown.
"What if she tries to get her hands on Draco again?" He asked in worry.
"I think a part of her wanted us to stop her, and she failed already so I don't think she'll be disturbing us again," I said and Kaden remained silent, staring at me before nodding and walking away.
I walked into my room and threw myself on the bed with a sigh. I was still shocked that Jordan was dead.
I groaned as I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my wrist. I sat up straight on the bed and I looked at my hand afraid that the pain was what I was thinking.
I winced as I felt the pain again and I slowly pulled up my right sleeve to see the red sigil on my wrist again.
I hit the bed in frustration. What is this? I've never seen any hex like this before and this can't be because Jordan died. He absorbed the magic away so either he is alive or not, the spell should become inactive.
I need to find proffessional help on this. This thing is dangerous and it could get out of hand if I keep neglecting it.
I knew that that the only place to find that type of help was in Maldoria and I knew who I had to meet.
I winced as I gently rolled my sleeve back down and I stretched out my hands. Let's hope I'm strong enough to create a portal.
Purple waves flowed out of my hands and they whirled in the air at an unusual slow speed. I was afraid that the portal would close up and this is not a good time to go ask Karen for help.
I focused my magic on the portal and the waves slowly began to whirl at a faster rate until they turned into a full portal.
I sighed and groaned as the effect of the hex worsened and I walked into the portal.
***
I blinked as I stepped out of the portal back into the Academy's main building. Katherine had already stepped out and I felt the portal close behind me.
I walked towards an elevator and opened it, walking in. Katherine walked in too, and I entered the destination for the floor where our offices are.
"What kind of spell do you think was used on the bell?" Katherine asked and I faced her. I was also confused about this. My ears were still ringing from the effect of the bell and my blood was still boiling. It was a really powerful spell used on that bell and it had a unique magic signature.
"I don't know exactly, but it's neither natural magic not dark magic, the magical aura was unique," I said and she nodded.
"But whoever cast the spell must have been powerful to have avoided being detected by everyone there," I added, afraid of who it might be and what the person's motive for doing that was.
As I said, the person had to be powerful and unique as everyone at that Arena had magical abilities and there were several Elder amd Master Mages there, but still no one detected the person's presence, the magical fluctuation around the bell or the casting of the spell.
I winced loudly as I felt a sudden sharp pain in my wrist.
What the heck was that.
The pain came again and I grabbed my right wrist in pain. I couldn't describe how it felt, but it was extremely painful and unlike anything I've ever felt.
"Garr, what is it?" Katherine faced me, asking in concern. I grabbed the sleeve of the robe I was wearing and violently I pulled it up, gasping as I saw a sigil-like mark slowly forming on my wrist.
Holy shit!!
"Garr, you've been hexed," Katherine said and immediately, I felt pain rip through my body. I groaned as I lost balance and I fell to the floor of the elevator.
I felt like I was being choked and I couldn't get enough air. My blood was boiling and it felt like the walls of the elevator were closing in on me.
"Garr!" Katherine immediately bent down and she held my hand.
Her hand began to glow, "illecitum Nivera Kaleodo. Illecitum Nivera Kaleodo," She began to chant, but that only did so little to relieve the pain and claustrophobic feeling I had.
"The hex. It's powerful, we have to get help," Katherine said with her hands still on mine, relieving the pain to an extent.
The elevator finally stopped and the doors opened.
"Katherine," I heard a voice and we both looked out to see Michael looking at the both of us in surprise.
I realized that I and Katherine were in suspicious position and Katherine immediately moved away.
"Michael. No, it's not what-" Katherine tried to talk, but he didn't let her finish before walking off in anger.
As Katherine had taken her hand off me, I could feel the pain getting stronger and the hex trying to mess with my brain.
Katherine glanced at Michael who was walking off and back at me as I was groaning in pain.
"Katherine. Go," I croaked out and my other hand began to glow as I tried to ease the pain I was feeling.
"You have to go. I'll find help," I managed to add, gritting my teeth in pain.
Katherine nodded before running out of the elevator.
"Michael! Michael!"
I groaned as I managed to get on my feet. I have to my office. There has to be something there that can help me for the moment.
