Chapter 205

  Garr.

Bastien suddenly moved away and walked to a small shelf at the left side of the door. His hands glowed in a bright white color and a book from the shelf immediately flew into his hand. He walked back and placed the book on the table.

He pointed his glowing hand at the book and the book flipped open it's own, the pages flipping rapidly before suddenly stopping.

"Let me see the hand," he said and I stretched out my hand to him.

He looked at the book on the table and read the chants of the spell he wanted to cast before facing me.

"He placed his both hands over my wrists and closed his hand as he began to chant.

"Rostrum Namil Virai. Rostrum Namil Virai." He chanted and I didn't feel any change in body so he was probably trying to diagnose what was really behind the hex.

He suddenly stopped chanting and he took away his hands.

"Garr, what did you get yourself into?" Bastien asked with a raised eyebrows which got me super curious about what he had seen.

  "Ummmm. Nothing," I replied.

  "What's wrong?"

"The magic of the spell is an ancestral dark magic being anchored this plane in form of chaos magic," Bastien explained to my surprise.

Chaos magic. It's natural magic, but it's associated with curses and instability. I suddenly remembered trackiny the Witch to her house. That house was at the edge of a famous clan in Maldoria, the Sycamore Clan and I heard stories about the Master's daughter being cursed with Chaos magic.

Could she be the one and what the hell did the ancestors promise her?

"Garr?" Bastien's voice snapped me out of my thought and I blinked.

"I don't know anything about that. I must have offended the wrong person," I replied and Bastien nodded.

"Okay," he said and walked to his desk. He opened a drawer and brought out a blue gem like the one I had hallucinated Katherine to bring the other day.

He walked back towards me and he placed the gem on my wrist.

I began to feel relieved and the blue gem slowly turned red. Just as I felt all the pain disappear and the sigil clean off, the blue gem turned red completely and withered into the air.

  "Thank you."

"You're welcome. Garr, you need to make sure you are careful cause this type of magic is dangerous," Bastien warned and I nodded.

  "I will."

"Alright. And your request was approved. You can take a leave," Bastien added and I smiled.

"Thanks. I'll go now," I said and he nodded. I walked out of his office and stood in the corridor by the wall.

Ancestral dark magic being anchored to this plane. The ancestors were trying to establish a permanent connection here through her meaning they were planning something bad that she doesn't even know about.

  I have to warn her.

Unable to use magic here, I walked into an elevator and went back to the staff floor. I walked to my office quickly and closed the door.

I stretched out my hands to create a portal and as the portal fully formed, I walked in.

  ***

I slowly opened his eyes and I felt disoriented for a bit before finally coming to terms with what was happening around me. I was sitting on a couch in a room I didn't recognize. The last thing I remembered was someone chanting and me blacking out.

He gritted his teeth in pain as I felt a burning pain on my wrist and I looked at the burning sigil on his right wrist. I remembered that I was looking for a solution to this hex.

I looked around the house before finally landing my gaze on a woman staring at me.

I've never seen her before. Who the hell is he? I sighed as I realized that she was the one wearing that scarf and asking about me. It was the eyes.

"It's you," I said and groaned in pain, "you're the one who came asking about me," I added and she nodded in affirmation

I tried to stand up, but an invisible force pushed me back and I muttered a curse as I realized she had cast a binding spell to hold me down.

"What do you want?" I asked in annoyance.

She picked up the mug on the table and sipped a bit of the hot coffee before dropping it on the table again.

"To be happy with my family. That's all I want," she replied. What the hell? How is that any of my business and what does it have to do with me?!

"To be with your family? Am I supposed to know who your family are and how that is connected to you hexing and abducting me," I yelled in anger..

"I'm sorry about the hex, it was necessary," she said apologetically. Once again, how is it necessary and what does she want from me?

"Necessary for what??" I asked, gritting his teeth in pain and sweating profusely. The hex was causing unimaginable pain to rip through my mind as it hadn't gotten any attention for god knows how long I was unconscious.

"To complete the assignment of the ancestors!" She yelled at me to my shock..

"A.....assi.... assignment?" I asked, stuttering and looking scared. Assignment of the ancestors!!

"There's only one thing that the Ancestors can be after right now," I stated with my lips quivering

  "Yes. The Tribrid," She said..

"What do they want?? I killed the Tribrid 8 months ago," I quickly lied, glaring at her.

"Well the ancestors do not agree and that's why you're," she said and I scoffed.

"I told you already that I killed The Tribrid myself and I'm not going to tell you anything," I retorted and she nodded.

"Fair enough, but I didn't plan to make you confess," she said and she moved closer towards me. What the hell does she want to do?

"All the information I need is in your mind. You should be thankful I didn't take the information I needed out when your consciousness was still drowned in your mind," she answered the question on my mind and I chuckled between the pain I was feeling.

"You must be crazy, Mages have great mental power and we can't read each other's minds," I stated and smiled.

"Let's try that out shall we??" She smirked confidently and she placed her hands on my head, closing her eyes.

I could feel her magic trying to infiltrate my mind and I groaned as I struggled to resist her. I was in pain because of the hex and I was too weak.

I groaned in pain and shouted as she forcefully dug her way into my mind and my mind finally gave way to her force.

  "I love you Katherine."

"Garr, there's something you need to know . Michael is my Betrothed."

"Miranda, you need to tell me what happened,"

"Before Miranda died, she gave me instructions about what to do if something like this ever happened,"

"We'll clone her and put her in a deep sleep till she is ready to give birth,"

"The coffin won't open until it's time for her to give birth,"

"I'll show them the clone now."

I gasped and she suddenly let go of my head as she read all of my memories that she needed.

"The Tribrid and his mother!" She gasped and glared at me. How the hell was she strong enough to do that. Shit! She now knew the entire truth.

"They are still alive," she said and I sighed in frustration. She placed her hands on her waist and paced up and down. She seemed to be thinking about what she would do.

It has been nine months already and that coffin would open at anytime for Karen to deliver the baby. When that happens, Draco would be in flesh and would have no weakness.

I have to find a way to slow her down so that Karen would give birth before she can make a move on them.
