Garr.
"You get out. I don't care about you or your niece anymore!" Selena faced me with a glare, pointing at the door.
"Okay, but I came here to warn you about something," I quickly said before she could cast whatever spell she wanted to ask her hands were already glowing.
"Warn me? What is it?" She asked with a raised eyebrows and she looked super impatient.
"Remember the hex you cast on me?"
"Yes, get to the point."
"Wel-"
"Selena, who is he and why are we listening to him," Jackson interrupted me and he pointed his hands at me and they began to glow in a bright red color. I raised up my hand too so I could counter spell he wanted to cast.
"Jackson wait," she stopped him from forcing me out a
"Well, after a diagnosis of the hex, I saw that you're being used as an anchor to this plane by the ancestors dark magic," I said and Selena looked shock.
"What?"
"I knew they were helping me maintain control of my chaos magic, but I didn't know they were using me as an anchor to his plane," Selena said in surprise.
"Which means they are pl-"
"Leave us already," Jackson interrupted again and pointed his glowing red hands at me.
"Jackson stop," Selena held on to his hand and stopped him again.
"Wait. Red?" Selena asked in surprise, looking at Jackson's hand. I looked at his hands too, not understanding what she was saying.
"Your magic signature was never red before you died," Selena said with a look of surprise and confusion.
Wait. What??
"Died. Did you say die-"
"Shut up!" The both of them yelled together and I stopped talking.
"How is your magic signature red?" Selena asked.
"I don't know. I don't understand how I even got here or where we are," Jackson replied and I began to think about what just happened.
Died. Was the spell I walked on a necromancy spell!
"Is that what the ancestors promised you?" I asked and the two of them faced me.
"They promised to bring him back to life if you killed the Tribrid?" I asked and Selena remained silent, crossing her arms over her chest.
She finally nodded in affirmation and I glanced at Jackson.
"Who is he?" I asked and Jackson scoffed.
"Who am I?" Jackson scoffed again.
"He's my Bethrothed," Selena replied.
"And you brought him back with obviously less standard morals and a different magical signature," I stated as several thoughts ran through my mind.
"Could be an effect of the necromancy spell," Jackson retorted, "the magic signature. My morals are perfect."
"But you were used as an anchor to this plane, what if they wanted to bring something else over to this plane?" I asked.
"That's ridiculous," Jackson scoffed.
"I mean, think of it, you failed to kill the Tribrid so they want to complete the mission themselves," I said.
"Did I mention how ridiculous that is?" Jackson shook his head.
"Shut up, let me think!" Selena yelled and placed her hands on her forehead with her eyes closed.
She suddenly opened her eyes and faced Jackson.
"What is your father's name?" Selena asked quickly.
"Julian."
"What's my uncle's name?" Selena asked almost immediately.
"Garner."
"Come on, if I'm right then he would know those answers. The ancestors knows anything happening on this plane. They can only communicate and manifest their powers on Laforza," I said and scoffed, but I definitely didn't expect what she asked next.
"When and where did we first have sex?"
"God no!"
Jackson didn't answer immediately this time and he stared at her in silence, his lips quivering.
"Your room at the Council house," Jackson replied, but Selena shook her head.
"No, at my house," Jackson said quickly.
"No! It was in an abandoned stall at one of the town's carnival and you said you were never going to forget!"
"Uurgh." I squeezed my face in disgust.
"Who are you?" Selena asked and began to walk closer to Jackson who began to walk back slowly.
"What did you do to Jackson?" She asked and I looked at Jackson waiting for what he'll say.
"Your Bethrothed is dead you fool!" Jackson suddenly yelled and a red blast burst out from his body, flinging me and Selena. I groaned as I fell on the floor and I muttered a curse beneath my breath. I don't heal fast and yet, I keep getting smashed around this past couple weeks.
I grunted as I stood up on my feet and Selena did too.
"Who the heck are you?" Selena asked in anger.
"I'm disappointed that it took you so long to figure out what we were doing all this while," Jackson, or whoever the hell he was replied.
"We had established a connection through you this whole and you had no idea," he chuckled.
"We knew you were going to fail, so we used you to bring me back in a physical form to carry out the mission myself," he added with a wicked smile.
"Who the hell are you?" Selena asked, clenching her glowing fists.
"I'm Morhan, you can call me Mor," he replied and he snapped his finger.
Immediately, his form changed and he now looked different. He was at tall handsome man with a black hair, sharp eyes and red lips.
"You bastard!" Selena yelled and ran forward, but an invisible force suddenly pushed her back.
What the heck!
I walked forward slowly with my hand stretched out in front of me and my hand hit an invisible force that trapped us to the corner of the room.
"You can't fight us. We are only doing this for the benefit of the supernatural race," he said and he snapped his fingers, instantly disappearing.
I didn't need to think at all to know where he was going and what he wanted to do. How can I warn them?
