Chapter 212

  Garr.

I groaned as I hit my glowing hand on the force field in the air again and again.

"Stupid barrier. Break!" I yelled and punched the barrier with my glowing fists again. My hand kept bouncing off it and I sighed in frustration.

Giving up, I muttered a curse beneath my breath. I sighed again and rested my palms on my waist before going to sit on the floor beside Selena, resting my head on the wall.

"I told you, there's no way to break the spell from the inside," Selena said and I faced her, rolling my eyes.

"I'm just scared what he wants to do and I'm not just talking about my niece. No single one of the ancestors needs to come to the plane to complete any mission," I said and Selena faced me with a stare that showed she wanted to hear my explanation.

"I mean, all they have to do is give the magical world is silly vision or prophecy and everyone will be competing for the owner to achieve the mission," I added and she nodded.

"Morhan is here because they have something else they want to do," I stated and Selena shrugged.

"Right now, I'm not only scared what my niece or my family, I'm scared because I know that's Mor's presence here means that the ancestors have a big plan brewing and it can't be good," I said and I saw Selena chuckle a bit.

  "What's funny?" I asked.

"Nothing." She shook her head and I glared at her.

"It's just the way that you're saying the ancestors knowing that you'll also be an ancestor when you die," she said and I chuckled.

"I'm sure I'm not going to have any mentality like theirs," I said with a smile and she smiled too.

"Whatever plan they have, I have these feeling that it involves your family majorly and they probably have no idea about it right now," Selena said.

"Or that he has us trapped here," I added and there was silence for a while. I leaned into the wall again and closed my eyes.

"But what if we can get them to know where we are," Selena said and I opened my eyes, faced her.

"I can send a message!" I exclaimed, nodding.

"But the difference in planes is going to make that difficult," I said in realization and the excitement on my face wore off.

"It'll be easier if you write the message into the last place you were before coming to Maldoria," Selena said and I nodded. I moved forward a bit and I sighed. My palms began to glow in a bright purple color and I closed my eyes.

I began to move my hands around, the purple waves trailing my hand's movement forming letters on the floor.

I continued for a while before opening my eyes to see the words I had written before they faded away.

I faced Selena and she glared at me with her hands crossed over her chest.

  "What?"

"Wicked Witch. Seriously??" She asked and I rolled my eyes looking away.

"You're a Witch, aren't you?! And you're wicked," I said and she shook her head.

"I did all I had to do for my family," she said and looked away.

"Yes, you almost killed a baby and you succeeded in killing Jordan," I said and she faced me with guilt in her eyes.

"I didn't mean to kill him," She said and I wanted to take it easy on her, but remembering Jordan's untimely death only made me mad.

"But you did, and rather than doing anything good for you family, you gave the ancestors your husband's body as a vessel for him to use," I said and I could see the pain in your eyes. I felt bad, but it felt satisfying at the same time so I continued.

"If I were him, I wouldn't create an illusion of my own face and I would use your husband's original face, carrying it around to haunt you."

"Just stop it!" She yelled and leaned on the wall.

"All I wanted was to get back my husband and break my curse so it'll be safe to be with my children," She lamented, resting on the wall.

She has children?? I didn't know that.

I sighed, scolding myself for feeling any pity for her.

"Okay, that's enough. The message was sent to my room and I don't know if any of them would ever go to my room until they don't see me for a day, so we have to find a way out of here ourselves," I said and stood up on my feet, sighing.

"Get up," I said and I stretched out my hand to her, and she looked at it hesitantly before grabbing it and I pulled her up to her feet.

My palms began to glow and the purple glow slowly changed to a deep purple-black color as I clenched my fists and concentrated all of my magic to my hand.

I groaned as I punched the air where the barrier was, but my hand only bounced back with more force, almost causing me to fall.

"The more you try to break it, the more resistant it becomes," Selena said and I sighed, turning around.

"Okay, how about the walls. Let's try breaking the walls down," I said and I stretched out my hands to the wall.

Suddenly, the walls came crumbling down slowly and we moved back quickly till our backs were touching the barrier.

Selena faced me and I shook my head.

  "That wasn't me."

The walls continued crumbling and as they fell down completely, I saw Karen and the others standing there with Karen's hand glowing in a bright golden color.

  Perfect.
