Chapter 217

  Karen.

I blinked as I stepped out of the portal. I looked around and saw that we were in a cemetery. There were various flowers planted around and graves were scattered around the cemetery, but I couldn't see any sign of Mor.

"I can sense him," Selena said and I faced her, looking around again. I closed my eyes and tried to hone my enhanced hearing to listen for anything.

I suddenly heard Draco's voice from afar. He was crying, but I couldn't pinpoint where the sound was coming from.

"I can hear them, but I don't know where he is. Do you?" I asked Selena and she nodded.

"They are in the ancestral cave," Selena said and she began to walk forward. None of us obviously knew where that was so we simply followed her behind. As we walked through the cemetery, the flowers planted reduced and the farther we went, the more eerie the place looked.

Soon, there were no flowers and there were more graves around.

"There," Selena said and I looked up to see an old cave up ahead.

I began to walk faster as I saw the cave and soon, we all arrived there. The entrance of the cave was curved down so I had to bend a little to walk into the cave. The cave was dark so I made my palms glow and the golden light illuminated the cave.

I could now here them in there clearly. As we walked deeper into the cave, I began to see an illumination different from the one I created. It got brighter and brighter and soon we walked into a part of the cave that was large as two rooms.

Mor was standing far ahead on an altar with a smile on his face. I dropped my palm and it stopped glowing. There were conspicuous four skulls set on the altar. I could also see a crib next to the altar and I knew that Draco was in there.

"We have what you want," I said and he nodded.

  "I know."

"Draco is here and only the mother should step forward with the vial of her blood," Mor said and I faced Kaden. I have him a reassurring nod that I would be careful and he handed me the vial. I slowly walked forward with the vial in my hand and as I got to the altar, Mor stretched out his hands.

I looked at his hand and glanced at Draco lying in the crib before handing the vial to Mor. I walked to the crib and I bent down to grab Draco when I suddenly felt a strong wind lift me up and throw me away, dropping me on the floor where the others were.

Motherfucker! I groaned and I stood up on my feet. I watched Kaden immediately dash forward, but he suddenly hit an invisible barrier in the air and he staggered backward.

What. I walked forward slowly and stretched out my hands. They soon hit the barrier in front and I gritted my teeth in anger.

"What did you do? I got you what you needed!" I yelled at Mor and he smiled.

"But your blood is not what I need." Mor smiled mischievously and he walked to the crib, carrying Draco out.

I clenched my fist in anger and I hit them on the barrier in anger.

"The Tribrid's Blood is what I need," he said and he stretched out his hands, a dagger appearing on it.

"B..bu..... but, he can't be hurt physically." I stammered in confusion and I faced Garr. He also looked confused and I faced Mor again.

He opened the vial of blood I gave to him and he gently poured some of it on the knife he had conjured. He dropped the vial and he tilted the knife so that the blood could run to the tip of the blade.

"With Draco's blood, I'll be able to bring back lost long legends, friends and members of a sacred magical group," Mor said and although I didn't fully understand what he was talking about, I knew that he wanted to perform a necromancy spell.

"Just leave us alone?" I yelled at him and he smirked.

"I can't," he said and I watched as he suddenly brought down the knife and stabbed Draco in the stomach.

I gasped, feeling a sharp pain in my chest as I heard Draco cry out in a tiny voice.

"Stop this!" Kaden bellowed angrily and he hit his fists on the barrier continuously.

"He's only a baby!" I cried out loudly and Mor pulled out the dagger from Draco causing him to cry in pain again..

"You're a monster!" I cried and watched as blood flowed out of Draco, soaking the altar..

It was my blood. A weapon soaked in my blood could hurt him..

"You might want to hold that thought till you meet my colleagues," he said and he closed his eyes, his palms glowing in a dark red color.

"Vulstum Necrosite Poserra Til' Na'em. Vulstum Necrosite Poserra Til'Na'em." He began to chant with his eyes closed.

The red waves around his palms, grew larger and larger, flowing into the air and moving violently.

"Uurgh," I turned around as I heard a groaning sound and I saw Selena bending and clutching her stomach like she was in pain.

"Selena, what is it?" Garr asked and he moved towards her, helping her up.

"The spell," Selena forced the words out of her mouth and Garr looked like he understood what was happening.

"Their magic is anchored through her so it's affecting her cause he's ressurecting so many people," Garr said and I glanced at the altar, looking at Draco who was lying on it with his eyes closed.

Let's try this shit. I suddenly walked towards Selena and I grabbed her hand.

"Karen," Garr called me, but I ignored him and I dragged Selena carelessly towards the barrier, not minding that she was already in pain.

  "Anchored you say. Let's see."
