Chapter 218

  Karen.

It was my blood. A weapon soaked in my blood could hurt him..

"You might want to hold that thought till you meet my colleagues," he said and he closed his eyes, his palms glowing in a dark red color.

"Vulstum Necrosite Poserra Til' Na'em. Vulstum Necrosite Poserra Til'Na'em." He began to chant with his eyes closed.

The red waves around his palms, grew larger and larger, flowing into the air and moving violently.

"Uurgh," I turned around as I heard a groaning sound and I saw Selena bending and clutching her stomach like she was in pain.

"Selena, what is it?" Garr asked and he moved towards her, helping her up.

"The spell," Selena forced the words out of her mouth and Garr looked like he understood what was happening.

"Their magic is anchored through her so it's affecting her cause he's ressurecting so many people," Garr said and I glanced at the altar, looking at Draco who was lying on it with his eyes closed.

I glanced at Selena and the altar again and I got an idea.

Let's try this shit. I suddenly walked towards Selena and I grabbed her hand.

"Karen," Garr called me, but I ignored him and I dragged Selena carelessly towards the barrier, not minding that she was already in pain.

"Anchored you say. Let's see how that works." I raised Selena's hand up and I placed it on the barrier.

"Avellum Distrasse." I chanted with my palms glowing in a bright golden color and I watched as scarlet lines ran through the transparent barrier with crack sounds. I moved back and let go of Selena's hand as the barrier dropped. Mor was still casting the spell and his eyes was closed. He seemed to be overwhelmed by the spell at the moment and he didn't look conscious of the things happening around.

Seeing that as an opportunity, I immediately zoomed forward and I grabbed Draco from the altar before zooming back to meet the others.

I held Draco tightly to my chest and srood beside Kaden as I watched the red waves turn darker and darker. Draco's blood was still on the altar and I watched as the skulls on the altar dissolved in it.

I looked at Draco who was sleeping and saw the hole in his cloth from the stab. He had already healed up.

Suddenly, the ground and the walls of the cave began to shake and Mor raised up his head, dark red lines running up his neck to his face.

Selena too began to groan louder and Garr held her shoulder to help her maintain balance.

I held on to Draco tighter as I could feel the choking magical energy in the air get even stronger and stronger and I knew it would soon reach the maximum build up.

All of a sudden, the dark red waves burst into the air and the waves scattered into the air pushing all of us to the floor.

I groaned in pain as I landed on the floor and I still held on to Draco tightly. I opened my eyes and raised my head up from the floor.

The cave was filled with a bright blinding red light and I couldn't see anything. I remained where I am and waited for the light as it slowly dimmed.

I sat up on the floor as I began to see little by little and I got up on my feet with a grunt. I looked up and saw that Mor was no longer the only one standing on the altar. There were two other men and two women.

The red lines on Mor's face slowly faded and he smirked, snapping his fingers and conjuring clothes on their naked bodies.

"We need to go," Garr said quickly and we immediately turned around to run out of the cave. Just as we got to the door, I stepped back as ice swiftly crawled up from the floor and created a thick wall at the cave entrance.

What the heck!! We slowly turned around and I saw one of the ladies' hands covered in ice and releasing cold steam.

"Hand over the Tribrid," Another man demanded with a thick voice, but I shook my head.

"No! You got what you want so leave us alone!" I yelled at them and the man scoffed.

"Oh. Our plan is not halfway finished," he said with a mischievous grin.

What the heck did they want again??

"We don't care about the plans you have, you're not laying your hands on my son!" Kaden yelled at them.

"You don't really have much of a choice," Mor said and faced the man who asked me to hand over Draco.

"Cade." Mor nodded and the man stretched out his hands. I moved back slowly as I watched a neat crack on the ground move from the altar towards us rapidly. The crack ran at both sides of the ground and passed through where I was standing. Immediately, the cracked part of the ground rolled up in the air with me standing on it and I could feel the earth pulling me towards them.

Kaden immediately ran forward and he grabbed my hand, pulling me off the elevated ground.

I sighed as I stood on the normal floor. Suddenly, I saw a large bow appear in the hand of the third man reach for his back and pulled out an arrow out of nowhere.

Swiftly, he fired two arrows and I watched as the two of them pierced Kaden shoulder and pin him to the thick ice wall at the Cave's entrance.

"The Elemental twins, the Archer, and the Mages," I heard Garr mutter quietly and I faced him.

"I know who you are," he said loudly and I saw him signal Selena with his hands behind his back.

  Who were they?

"Say it." The lady who manipulated ice earlier said with a smirk.

"You're from the ancient Kraken Clan. You're the Five."
