Stella
“But I had a visitor at the office today," Lucas said and I raised my eyebrows a bit, curious about who it could be.
"It was Alpha Dylan from the Crescent Pack, I was surprised when he came to see me atthr office himself," Lucas said and I walked back a bit, sitting at the edge of the bed.
"What did he want?" I asked and I saw Lucas hesitate for a bit.
"He came to invite us to join his pack," Lucas replied and I sighed.
"Well, I hope your answer was no because the reason we came here initially was to get as far away as possible from the supernatural world," I said and Lucas sighed, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning on the wall.
"We did this so that we wouldn't get involved in any problem and so that we can keep ourselves and our daughter safe," I added, hoping that would manage to convince Lucas not to bother himself about the invite.
"Stella, I don't think there's any harm in accepting the invite," Lucas said and I sighed again, standing up on my feet.
"There's always an harm in the Supernatural community! Even if we don't face god like enemies like before, there'll always be Rogues, or Vampire attacks, or....or..... there'll always be a danger to face!" I yelled and quickly lowered my voice as I noticed Melissa change her position on the bed so I would not wake her up.
"But a pack is not just a place for Werewolves to live! It's a community that'll also help Melissa when she finally starts noticing that she is different," Lucas retorted and I sighed.
"I really don't want to keep doing this," I said and I was about to continue talking when I suddenly had a strange feeling.
"Wait," I said and I touched my arm as I felt a chilly feeling on my skin.
"Lucas, do you feel that?" I asked and held on to my arm. Lucas raised his eyebrow curiously and shook his head.
“What?“ He asked.
I could feel the temperature getting colder and colder and the chilly feeling creeping up my skin.
Lucas probably couldn't feel it now because he was a werewolf and he had an higher tolerance.
“Wait,” Lucas said and it stopped moving looking around the room.
“It's cold all of a sudden,” Lucas said and you walked towards the window. I pulled the curtain aside and he looked outside.
I could see that the sun was still shining brightly outside and winter wasn't any time soon.
“Stella get down!“ Lucas shouted all of a sudden and he rushed towards me pulling me down. That instant, a large blast of ice broke through the wall and passed over our heads landing on the floor behind us.
What's the hell?!
"Who was that? Did you see who it was?" I asked and I slowly moved towards Melissa's bed without standing up straight.
"I'm not sure but I think it is the ice elemental from The Five," Lucas said and I gasped.
That's impossible! How could she be the one?! How can she even be here?!
"What?! How is that possible?!" I asked and Lucas also moved forward.
"I don't know, but we have to grab Melissa and get away quickly," Lucas said, and he carried Melissa up resting her on his shoulder.
"Let's go," he said and the two of us immediately ran towards the door.
I looked over my shoulder as another blast of ice headed towards us and we quickly ran out of the door, closing it before the blast could reach us.
I could feel the house getting colder and colder and my skin was freezing already.
We hurriedly ran down the stairs as icicles and the blast kept firing into the house from random directions.
We finally made it down the stairs and as we ran towards the door, large waves of water blasted the door open and Lucas quickly kicked the door away before it could hit us.
Lucas was right. It was the ice elemental from The Five.
She was standing in the compound and I could see her through the open door.
"Let's go," Lucas grabbed me quickly and we turned around to run in another direction.
The two of us quickly burnt down as a blast of ice from behind fired at us and it passed over our heads by few inches landing on the floor before us.
I stopped running immediately and I looked at the eyes on the floor, then at my barefeet.
"Stella we have to keep going," Lucas said and he grabbed my hand. I sighed and I slowly walked over the ice, wincing as it bit into my leg.
We finally got over the ice on the floor and we continued running in the direction of the garage.
I looked at Lucas shoulder as Melissa slowly stirred out of sleep and open her eyes.
"Mom, what's happening?" Melissa asked looking around in confusion as she was still sleepy and not yet fully aware of our surrounding.
"Nothing darling, go back to sleep now," I said and I used my hand to close Melissa's eyes.
Just as Lucas opened the door of the garage another blast of ice fired right at us, but we quickly ran into the garage and Lucas shut the door immediately.
I heard the ice it's the door before slowly falling to the ground.
"Let's go," Lucas said and I turned around to follow him to the car parked at the other end of the garage. I looked over my shoulder and saw water slowly flowing into the room through the little space under the door of the garage.
The water continued flowing towards us and I fast forward running to the car. As we got to the car Lucas works to the spot on the wall where we hung the key and he quickly grabbed it, walking back to the car.
I looked towards the door again as I saw the water flowing towards us increase its speed and crawl up the walls.
Lucas quickly inserted the key into the car struggling to open the door.
The flowing water continued moving and as it did it slowly solidified into ice, moving across the world, back to the floor, and then solidifying all over the car.
How the hell do we get out of here now?
