Garr.
Three Years From Now
All of a sudden, the portal spat me out, and changing form mid-air, I landed on a wooden floor, groaning in pain.
I winced in pain and held my side as I could feel something had been damaged.
I grunted as I slowly got up on my feet and I looked around to see that I landed before the door of an house.
I looked back as I saw the door open and Selena stepped out of the door. Oh Great!
"What the heck Garr!" She exclaimed. She was wearing a fitting red dress and her hair was packed into a stylish bun.
"Why are you dressed like this and I have been waiting for you," She said, looking at the lecturing robe I wore.
"I was just ambushed by someone who's supposed to have a dagger in his heart," I said, holding on to my aching side and Selena's eyebrow etched in worry.
"Garr, what happened?"
"Cade. I was attacked by the elemental, Cade."
"What?!" Selena exclaimed and she opened the door, signaling me to come in.
"You saw Cade?!" She exclaimed as I walked into the house I gave an affirmative nod.
"Yes I saw him in the flesh and he tried to kill me," I replied and I went to sit on a couch, sighing loudly, still holding on to my side..
"Are you okay?" Selena asked.
"I've cast a healing spell and I'll be fine. Right now, we have to to worry about you," I said and I stood up again.
"Because of what you did the last time, they will try to come after you," I said.
"But they can't kill me," Selena retorted, rolling her eyes.
"Yes, but that doesn't mean they will leave you alone, they can lock you up forever or toss you into oblivion," I stated and she nodded.
"We have to meet Karen quickly and find out how the hell I just saw Cade," I added.
All of a sudden, an arrow fired in through the window and it hit me on the shoulder.
The arrow pushed me backward as it penetrated my skin, and it pinned me to the wall.
The two of us looked at the window and I glanced down at the arrow in my shoulder.
I groaned as I tugged at the arrow and pulled it out of my shoulder. The arrow head was familiar.
It was The Archer. I looked at the window again and I saw multiple arrow firing in our direction.
Selena immediately stretched out her hands, creating a scarlet shield.
The house hit the shield and the shield shattered into tiny bit before withering into the air.
"Open up a portal, I'll slow him down," Selena said and I nodded.
Her hands began to glow in a bright scarlet color and she began to fire blasts at The Archer who was standing outside the house.
As the blast reached him, he kept using his bow to hit them away.
As I finished healing the injury in my shoulder, I stretched out my hands and created a large purple portal.
"Let's go!" I said and Selena slowly move backwards still firing the blast at The Archer who kept hitting them away with his bow like a baseball.
Before he could fire and arrow, Selena ran into the portal and I jumped in after her.
***
I grunted as I stood up from the floor. I have to go after her and do everything I can to stop her. I stretched out my hands to create a portal, but I stopped and looked sideways to see someone approaching.
It was the same man I had seen earlier. He looked suprised to see me.
"You're still here?"
"I thought you were going to meet them at the wedding Venue or something," he said and shrugged before walking past me.
I stretched out my hands to continue creating a portal, but his voice stopped me.
"Wait."
I turned around to face him.
"Since you're a Wizard, I think you might know this, and I'm tired of looking," he said and I looked at him inquisitively.
"What?"
"Do you know what a Tribrid baby can eat and like not puke everytime??" He asked and I dropped my hand in surprise.
What??
"What'd you say your name is?" I asked, pointing at him and praying it was what I was thinking.
"Nate," he asked, looking confused.
"Nate, what Tribrid are you talking about?" I asked him.
"The Alpha's son. He was left here because he keeps crying and vomiting," Nate replied and I sighed in relief.
"Great!" I exclaimed in excitement, grabbing onto Nate's arm and shaking in excitement and relief.
"Dude." I suddenly let go of his arm as I realized how I had acted.
"I'm sorry, take me to the baby," I said, stepping back a bit.
***
I blinked as I stepped out of the portal and it closed up.
We were standing in a corridor in the main pack mansion of the Moon Edge Pack.
I looked up and I saw somebody approaching. It was Nate. I met him the day I came here to warn Kaden about Selena.
"Hey," Nate said looking at me recognition before glancing at Selena with a raised eyebrow.
He faced me again has said, "Hi. It's been long since you came here," he said and I nodded.
I remembered that he had volunteered to go with me to Maldoria when I needed an alibi to prove my reasons for not being able to do my job as a professor at Sentient Academy Of Magic. Someone from Earth who wasn't a family member or a fellow Mage.
"Yes, busy. Is Karen here, I need to see her," I said and he shook his head.
"No she's not around, but I think Alpha Raphael left in a hurry this morning to meet her," he replied and I sighed, resting my palms on my waist.
"Alright, can you borrow me your phone? I need to call Raphael."
Karen.
I sat on the couch with my head rested on the top of the couch.
"We're going to find him," Stella who was sitting next to me said, trying to console and calm me down. The memory of Kaden being hit with an arrow and being thrown off the bridge kept flashing in my head.
It felt as if a piece of my soul was torn away from me.
Draco was also with The Five and God knows what they are doing to him right now. I was so scared and I didn't know what to think.
He mentioned that they were going to use him to purge the world of every supernatural aside Mages and then kill him.
I can't let them do that. I can't imagine surviving if that should ever happen.
I raised up my head from the couch, sniffing, "How are we going to find him?" I asked.
Garr rested his palms on his waist, staring into the air as he tried to think of something.
The Five could be anywhere now and it was impossible to track them. They might not even be on earth.
"Can we try casting a locator spell on Draco?" I asked.
"We can try it but I'm certain that they would have created a cloaking spell to prevent that," Selena replied and I sniffed.
"Let's just try it. Let's try all available options," I said and I stood up from the couch.
"Okay, we'll use your blood," Garr said and I nodded.
Garr's hands glowed in a bright purple color and a map scroll appeared in his hand. He unscrolled the map and spread it out on the table before him..
My hands also glowed as I conjured a silver knife and I held my palm over the map, slowly slicing my palm and squeezing my palm tight so I could get enough blood on the map quickly before my palm heals up.
I stopped as enough drops of my blood fell find the map and my sliced palm slowly healed up.
Garr stretched his hand over the map and he began to chant, "Felisetum locitare nelida. Felisetum locitare nelida."
At first, nothing happened but after a while, the drops of blood on the map slowly joined together and began to move on the map.
Just as I thought that the locator spell was working, the blood on the map suddenly separated into four different parts and and they moved rapidly till they dripped off the four edges of the map.
I said and stomped my foot on the floor in frustration.
"What do we do now? How can I know baby if there's no way to even know where he is!" I hear the frustration and kicked the table in front of me away.
"Karen, you need to calm down," Selena said and I breathed in deeply.
All of this wouldn't be happening if Selena hadn't followed us. She's the reason for everything that's happening. She's the reason why Mor was brought back to life and in turn, resurrecting the other four members of The Five.
She's the reason why Jordan was killed. She's the reason why The Five were able to come into the Chamber Chetum!
If she hadn't been there with us, I would possibly be with Draco right now and Kaden would still be alive.
I should have known. They once mentioned that she was anchored to them but I didn't expect that it was as deep as making them one.
So whatever happens to her, happens to them also.
Yes! That was it! They were one!
"Let's cast a locator spell on Selena," I said and they all faced me.
"Yes, Mor mentioned that they are one with Selena," I said and Garr seemed to think about it for a while before nodding
"Yes, if we track her, the spell would get confused, but it'll show all the locations where she is being sensed," Garr said.
He went to where I kicked the table to and he pulled it closer.
You conjured another map and he spread it on the table. Selena conjured a knife too and she pricked the tip of her thumb, squeezing her blood on the map.
Garr stretched out his hands as they began to glow and he chanted, "Felisetum locitare nelida. Felisetum locitare nelida."
The blood on the map remained static for a while before slowly coming together. The blood began to move around the map, hovering over the same spot for a while.
Suddenly the blood separated into two parts that began to move in opposite directions. One part of the blood finally stopped moving and I looked at the spot on the map to see that it was where we were.
The other part continued moving out for a while, going back and forth. I stood up straight, sighing and resting my palms on my waist.
I looked down again as the blood stopped moving. I bent down a bit more to see where the blood stopped and I saw that they were in an area near the border of Washington.
"They are here. We have to go and save Draco now," I said pointing at the spot where the blood stopped.
I raised up my hand and began to pack my loose hair into a ponytail.
I need that the The Five were way powerful than us, and I knew that it would be hard for us to take them down but I will do anything to save Draco even if it meant sacrificing my life.
"Now that it is shown that Selena is one with the five of them, I have an idea on how we can take them down for good."
Karen

I unfolded my arms that I had crossed over my chest as we listened to Garr's plan and I nodded.
"That's good, but is Selena willing to do that?" Stella asked and I faced Selena. She remained silent as I stared at her and she glanced at Garr.
"I should be fine as long as it takes only 10 seconds," she said, her voice filled with uncertainty.
I didn't care what happened to her though.
"So let's go," I said and Garr nodded. I stretched out my hands and golden waves flowed into the air, whirling around in the air to form a portal.
As portal fully formed, I sighed loudly and stepped into the portal.

I slowly opened my eyes to the feeling of immense pain. I felt like my body was being hit with rocks from every angle. Where was I? That was the first thought that ran through my mind.
My vision was blurry tears and sweat that clogged my eyes. My joints ached and my skin cried from the cold hard floor I was forced to lie on.
The cell I was in was empty and there was nothing else in it apart from the cobwebs handing around the corners of the cell.
My frantic effort to remember who I had offended or a crime I had committed was all in vain. I couldn’t remember doing any of this things, so why would someone do this to me?
The last thing I remembered was being in a vampire night club with Jenna. Some cops barged in and the room was filled with a fog. Silver dust.
What did the cops want? What offence did I commit.
I mustered the little bit of strength in me and groaned in pain as I got on my feet. The sharp pain in my feet caused me to look down at them and I realized that they were bleeding. My feet were badly scarred with deep cuts and bruises.
I managed to take a few more steps forward and would have continued, but for the sharp pain that came from the cold metal that bite into my skin. I looked at my wrist and cursed in frustration to see the metal cuffs strapped around them.
I grabbed the bars of the cell and suddenly withdrew my hands with a large wince as the bars burnt them. They were laced with holy water. My gaze travelled out of the cell as I heard some men burst into fits of laughter. That instant, I recognized them as werewolves and I snarled at them instinctively. My fangs extended and my vision became red.
I saw one of them also growl loudly and he returned the snarl. I'm sure he had a beef with vampires, well, apart from the natural hatred. I watched him approach my cell and with my vampire sight, I zoomed in on the badge on his uniform. It read, 'NEXUS RIPPER DETENTION FACILITY'
I could barely ponder on what those words were when my eyes daryed to his hand grabbing a bottle tucked into his combat belt. Holy Water. His lips curled up into a wicked smirk when he noticed the fear in my expression. Fear I couldn't hide.
Were the others going to let him torture me?
I guess yes since they didn't move an inch even when he opened the bottle. I began to retreat to the far end of the cell as he poured it in his hand. The far end was not really far since the cell wasn't so big.
I lifted up my hands to my face as he splashed the Holy Water on me and I shrieked in pain as I felt the 'acidic' liquid burn my flesh. My vision became red all over again and I felt enraged. I snarled loudly and began to kick the bars of the cell with my vampire strength, not minding the burning pain on the sole of my feet.
The werewolf moved backward and the bottle of Holy Water in his hand fell to the ground. The walls of the cell began to shake and I continued to kick the bars. I was no longer thinking straight now and I couldn't here what the werewolf shouted to his mates. An alarm began to blare and I managed to here someone announce, "Alpha Xavier is here!"
The werewolf returned with a spray can I barely made out through my Red vision and he sprayed its content into the cell. Silver dust. I began to feel dizzy all over again and I saw a man stop before my cell. In my drowsy state, I could feel the power he exuded and the strong aura surrounding him. He whispered an instruction that wasn't audible to me and the door to my cell was opened.
I could feel myself being dragged deeper into the darkness and he bent down to pick me up. The last thing I heard before going unconscious was the man's word 'Mate.'
