CHAPTER 239

  Karen.

Jordan let go of Draco, and immediately, Draco ran forward , running over to me, and hugging my lower body tightly.

"That man is scary," Draco said.

All of a sudden, Jordan's right arm turned into a black liquid that suddenly flowed forward and solidified around the jar..

He yanked the jar out of his grip and as his hand rematerialized into its normal form, Jordan smashed the glass jar on the floor.

The jar broke and all of the energy flowed out. Before the energy could flow away, Jordan quickly touched it, closing his eyes and I watched as his body absorbed all of the energy.

He sighed as he siphoned all of his energy and suddenly opened his eyes that were now a pure black color.

"There's more!" Jordan bellowed all of a sudden and I felt the ground shake. I knew that that wasn't all of the energy in Kaden.

I look around as this was when Sanctum officials were supposed to show up and help us to escape from Jordan.

Instead, I saw a red spark form in the air and I sighed in frustration.

The air tore open and Mor stepped into the forest with The Archer, Nylah and The Ice elemental.

They were really never going to give up.

"I am beginning to lose my patience and I this time, we are going to take the Tribrid and complete the ritual," Mor said and the usual smile and smirks he always had weren't there.

"I am standing right here and I don't care about them so give me the complete power of the hollow right now!" Jordan shouted on top of his voice.

"You're the one who killed Cade!" The ice elemental yelled at him and I looked at her hand as cold steam began to release from it, making the air cold.

"Vera, are you punishing the rest of us now?" Mor asked and the temperature went back to normal.

Jordan glanced at her and looked back at me.

"Hand over Kaden to me now?!" Jordan yelled.

"Don't you dare ignore me!" Vera yelled and she dashed at Jordan with a long staff, made of ice forming in her hand.

She slashed the staff at Jordan, but he bent backwards quickly and the staff passed over him.

He raised his head up and suddenly grabbed the other end of the staff.

My eyes darted to the left as the Archer pulled an arrow out of nowhere and inserted it into his bow.

He fired the arrow at Jordan, but Jordan quickly raised up his other hand, and caught the arrow in front of his head.

Jordan suddenly kicked Vera, yanking the ice staff away from her and in a swift movement, he slashed the staff in the air, using it to slice her head.

I gasped and moved back a bit as Vera's head rolled to the ground. The ice staff in Jordan's hnad disappeared and he dropped the arrow he had caught to the floor.

  What has Jordan become.

"As I was saying, give Kaden to me or I'll make you deeply regret ever attempting to deceive me," Jordan threatened and he took slow steps towards me.

Where the hell were the Sanctum officers when they were needed??

"Kill that bastard!!" Mor shouted and Jordan stopped walking. The Archer immediately pulled an arrow out of nowhere and he inserted it into his bow.

Jordan faced them and Nylah suddenly stretched out her hand towards Jordan.

Jordan was about raises hand up to probably stop the arrow, but I noticed that his movements slowed down extremely.

The Archer fired the arrow at Jordan and I knew Jordan would not be able to stop it this time.

I wanted to do something about it, but before I could.............

"Jordan!" Lycian shouted and he suddenly jumped in the way of Jordan. Lycian's body shook as the arrow suddenly hit him in the heart and it exploded in his chest.

I gasped and moved back a bit.

"Lycian!" Lucas shouted as Lycian fell lifelessly to the floor.

"Lycian-" I heard Jordan mutter softly and I looked up to see that his eyes were no longer black and he looked devastated.

"Jordan, Jordan? Is that you?" I asked gently moving closer to him.

A drop of tear fell out of Jordan's left eye as he looked at Lycian's corpse.

All of a sudden, the Archer fired another arrow. Jordan immediately raised up his hand, catching the arrow before it could hit him and his eyes suddenly turned black again.

He dropped the arrow on the floor and looked at Lycian's corpse again.

"Good Riddance," Jordan hissed and he walked over Lycian's body.

  What?!

Jordan immediately turned to a blur and by the time I could see him, he was standing behind the Archer.

He suddenly grabbed the Archer's head and he tore it off his body.

"Enough!!" Mor yelled and he stamped his foot on the ground. I looked up as a bolt of lightning that was red in color dropped from the sky to hit Jordan.

The lightning bolt hit Jordan on the chest and flung him away. I gasped loudly and watched as Jordan landed on the floor with a dark spot on his chest.

No. No. He can't die again. Not a second time.

"His return to the grave was long overdue already," Mor said and I turned around to face him.

"Now, surrender the Tribrid!" He yelled and his voice echoed around the forest.

I looked around, hoping that Sanctum officers would show up. Where the hell were they when we needed them?

"This is the last time you are going to see your son."
