CHAPTER 240

  Karen.

"Enough!!" Mor yelled and he stamped his foot on the ground. I looked up as a bolt of lightning that was red in color dropped from the sky to hit Jordan.

The lightning bolt hit Jordan on the chest and flung him away. I gasped loudly and watched as Jordan landed on the floor with a dark spot on his chest.

No. No. He can't die again. Not a second time.

"His return to the grave was long overdue already," Mor said and I turned around to face him.

"Now, surrender the Tribrid!" He yelled and his voice echoed around the forest.

I looked around, hoping that Sanctum officers would show up. Where the hell were they when we needed them?

"This is the last time you are going to see your son." Mor gritted his teeth and red sparks formed around his heart.

I quickly grabbed Draco and pushed him behind.

"Draco run!! Don't stop until you see us," I said.

  "But..."

"Just run!" I shouted and Draco immediately began to run away. I saw that Nylah wanted to go after him, but I instantly fired a golden blast at her and it pushed her back.

"You're going to have to pass through me!" I said, clenching my fists that were glowing in a bright golden color tightly.

"So be it!" Mor shouted and he fired a red blast mixed with lightning at me. I quickly crossed my hands and created a golden shield.

The blast hit the shield and the shield reduced the impact, but it broke and the force pushed me to the floor.

As I fell, I also looked sideways to see Nylah blast Garr and Selena to the front.

I stood quickly as Mor was about to leave. I fired a blast at him and he stopped walking.

"You are only going to meet your death," Mor said and his eyes turned red..

"Elysium Jarelo Xantum Vecila. Elysium Jarelo Xantum Vecila," Mor began to chant and I was scared of the spell he was about to cast..

"How dare you!" All of a sudden, I saw someone jump down from up and hit Mor..

Mor's eyes reverted to their normal color as he fell to the ground..

"Before could react, Jordan's hands turned to a black liquid solidified as a blade and they chopped off both of Mor's hands..

Mor screamed as his both hands were cut off and Jordan's hands rematerialized to their normal form.

"Your lightning was sure as hell the most satisfying energy so far, let's see what your body has to offer," Jordan said and he suddenly drove his hand into Mor's chest, pulling out his heart..

Nylah rushed at Jordan to confront him, but he zoomed at her and tore off her head in one swift movement.

I looked at all the four bodies of the ret of The Five dumbfounded at the realization that Jordan singlehandedly killed all of them.

"Now, who is going to bring Kaden to me before you all meet the same fate?" Jordan asked.

"Here you go." I looked sideways and saw Darell and other Sanctum Officers walk in. Darell was holding a large glass jar filled with a massive black energy.

  "Where were you?" I asked.

"There was a barrier spell around this place and in the mean time, Marc successfully did the separation, Kaden is Werewolf again and he'll recover his memories over time," Darell explained and I sighed in relief.

"How did you get in?" I asked.

"Your son did," Darell replied and Draco walked forward. He was still wearing his wrist watch, but maybe he took it off temporarily.

"So hand it over," Jordan said, stretching out his hand to Darell.

"As you wish," Darell said and moved forward, but before Jordan could grab it, Darell smashed the Jar on the floor.

The energy escaped immediately and became a massive black cloud that engulfed Jordan.

"What did you do?!" I asked, scared for Jordan.

"Marc got an idea. He thinks Jordan is still in there and he tweaked the energy. It will completely purge out the Reaper, but it will preserve his Vampire side and his memories," Darell explained and I watched as the cloud disappeared. Immediately, Jordan fell on the floor unconsciously and I rushed towards him.

He was alive and he seemed normal, he no longer had that dark aura. I looked at the bodies of the Five too and I felt at peace.

"Come here," I said to Draco smiling and he ran forward, pulling me into an hug.

  Finally, everything was okay.

  ***

Karen's voice-over; A diamond is only precious because it is widely sought after for its special properties, my life and that of my child should have been normal and was normal until the day what made us special exposed. I was an Hybrid and he was a Tribrid.

*Flashback to when Karen fires a blast at Selena*

Karen's voice-over; there were tough times where we faces challenges and difficulties causing us sorrow.

Everyone gathered at Lycian's grave and Jordan sniffed, leaning into Karen's shoulder while Lucas stood quietly in a distance with a pained expression.

Karen's voice-over; through it all, the one greatest thing in the universe was able to sustain us through it all.

Karen and Kaden laughs as Draco says something funny and runs off to play with his friends.

Garr and Selena bumps into each other and they move backward. They stare at each other and Garr slowly moved closer to Selena.

He pushes a strand of Selena's hair on her face behind her ear. They slowly move towards each other before suddenly kissing each other.

Karen's voice-over; some things changed and some never did.

Kaden chases Draco playfully around and he suddenly trips over a rock. Before he can fall, his hand turns into a black cloud and rest on the floor, bouncing him back up. He looks at Draco and Karen, and they both look so surprised.

Karen's voice-over; there were also decisions influenced by changes.

Jordan walks out of the elevator at the Sanctum headquarter and is accompanied into Darell's office.

He walks in and Darell looks up from the file on his desk.

"To what pleasure do we owe this visit?" Darell asked with a smile.

"I already lost the letter you gave to me and I wanted to ask if the offer was still on the table?" Jordan asked and the smile on Darell's face immediately disappeared.

Jordan sighed and said, "I understand if you wanted me then because of my Reaper abilities. I guess I've lost the ability now no problem."

Darell suddenly smiled teasingly, "Welcome To Sanctum."

Karen's voice; and the one thing that was always supposed to be. The destined fate and the root of it all would always be here.

Karen moaned as Kaden pressed her against the wall, trailing kisses up her neck. He removed his lips from her and stared at her with his dark eyes before muttering, "You Are Mine."

  ***

  The End.

  One Year Later.

  Karen.

"Okay, you're all set now, hurry up or you're going to get Lily late," I said, smiling at Draco and he nodded.

"Give your mom a kiss," I said, pointing at my cheek and Draco kissed me on the cheek.

"Bye dad," Draco said, running to Kaden and Kaden pecked him on the forehead.

"Be a good boy at school. Don't take off your wristwatch," Kaden said and Draco nodded before running out of the room, closing the door..

I sighed loudly and sat on the bed.

"Do you think we're going to have another Tribrid?" I asked, looking at my belly that was already protruding a little bit.

"No vision or prophecy so far, I think we're safe," Kaden said with a smile and he began to take off his shirt.

All of a sudden, there was a loud ripping sound in the air and a golden spark formed in the air.

Who the hell was coming in through our bedroom?

I stood up and watched as the spark expanded into a portal. As the portal fully formed, a man stepped out of it and I saw that it was Magnus.

  What was he doing here.

  "Magnus-"

"Karen, it's time," Magnus said. What was he talking about? Immediately he asked that question, I realised what he meant.

It was about him being my destiny.

"It's time for the Infinity Battle."
