Camilla melts Into Ethan's arms allowing herself to enjoy his warmth, even if it is a dream. Her imaginations have been playing tricks on her, this is finally time for her to grab unto it.
She feels something poking at her stomach and her body starts reacting to it. Her nipples get erect and she suddenly remembers that she is barely putting on clothes.
But then again, why is she reacting to an imagination?
She tries to pull away from him but he holds her back. "Please don't leave." His voice is husky and so masculine, her core tightens and this frightens her.
What is going on?
She stays still and Ethan pulls her even closer to him. He sighs softly in her ears and she can't help but notice how real it sounds. This isn't imagination. This is real!
"Oh my God!" She squeaks and Ethan gently pulls her away from his neck, so he is staring straight into her eyes.
"Are you okay?" Ethan asks her softly.
She is not okay. She is standing almost naked in front of her crush whom she thought was an imagination. How weird can that be?
"Please let me go..." She whispers with her eyes close. She is feeling so embarrassed she can't even look into his green eyes.
Ethan is hurt as he feels he has overdone himself. He shouldn't have held her the way he did, now he has scared her. He released his hold on her hands and Camilla runs off to the bathroom again. His wolf starts panicking and he has to bite down on his tongue, to calm it down. He will get her to be with him, but he had to take it slow, not rush things. In his defense, she was the one who hugged him first. He couldn't have ignored that body of hers on him. To think she only wore a short towel, leaving little to the imagination.
In the bathroom, Camilla slaps a hand over2 her face. How can she be so stupid?
First, she hugs him with only a towel thinking he wasn't real. What if she had kissed him or touched his member thinking he wasn't real? What would have happened then?
"Oh my God!" She repeats to herself. "You have overdone yourself, Camilla Louise!" She scolds her reflection in the bathroom mirror.
Ethan on the other hand starts pacing not knowing what to do. Maybe he should just tell her how he feels but he is going to be careful about that. But what if she isn't ready? Her rejection will hurt more than she is shy around him.
He walks to her bathroom door and knocks gently. "Camilla, I am sorry. I didn't mean for any of that to happen." Ethan doesn't even know what he is apologizing for. He just wants to talk to her. He drove a lot of miles just to be with her and that's all he wanted.
Camilla is quite as her heart jumps at his words. She also feels bad that Ethan is apologizing for her awkwardness. She has to talk to him at least she can't keep hiding here —she thinks. She is about to open the door when her eyes fall on her exposed thighs.
"Oh my God! I am surely going mad!" She screeches looking down at herself. She didn't bring any clothes to the bathroom when she ran away.
"Camilla, can we talk about... This?" Ethan calls, knocking on the door again. The poor guy is probably hating himself right now, thinking she is crying when she is getting worked upon an entirely different thing.
She takes a deep breath and pulls the door slightly open. Ethan's green eyes pierce down at her and she feels butterflies all over her belly. But she shakes her head, wiping her crazy hormones to control.
"Hmmm, this is weird but can you help me?" She squeaks in a small voice.
Ethan raises his brows, "sure, whatever you want. Just say it." He assures her.
"I forgot to pick out my clothes can you please pass them to me?" As soon as she says the words she drops her head blushing deeply.
Ethan's wolf purrs in excitement at the sight in front of them. Camilla is so beautiful. The tiniest of things make her so cute, it's impossible to not fall in love with her.
"Sure," Ethan says with a smile.
He goes to her bed and finds no clothes. So he just opens her drawer and picks up the first shorts he could find and a t-shirt. He then returns to the bathroom and hands it to Camilla.
"Thank you," she whispers before shutting the door again.
Ethan's smile broadened. Camilla is only acting this way because she is shy and not scared of him. This small news makes him very happy. He strolls to her bed and seats, waiting for her.
Camilla quickly puts on the clothes Ethan passed to her. She ties her hair into a high pony and pours water on her face, to reduce the blush that is so evident on her cheeks. When she is done, she takes a long breath and finally steps out of the bathroom.
Taking slow steps she walks to where Ethan is sitting on her bed and takes a spot a few inches away.
"So..." She trails not knowing how to start a conversation. She will have to ask Lisa how to handle a crush from now on. That will mean she has to tell Lisa who her crush is and Lisa will make a loud fuss when she finds out it is Ethan. might never hear the end of it. But she will have to tell her to avoid more of these moments.
"When did you get back?" Camilla says regaining a little bit of her confidence.
"Just now." He is smiling and staring right into her face. Camilla starts blushing again and she gets this strong urge to tell him to look at me.
"Oh, have you met with Peter?" As much as she doesn't want to mention Peter she has no choice. To keep the conversation away from her, she has to ask other people.
"No. You are the first person I am seeing Camilla," Ethan whispers and Camilla feels goosebumps pop up on her skin. What is Ethan doing to her?
"How was your trip?" She asks. She peeks up at him and she regrets it, his green eyes lock hers and she finds herself unable to look away. The way the color swirls in it is like it is changing but it isn't changing. Camilla is lost in it.
"I missed you, Camilla," he whispers.
In just that one sentence, Camilla finds the distance between them closing. She feels his breath on her face and she knows she should pull back but she can't. Her mind is screaming to her to pull away but her heart wants it more than anything.
Ethan has a girlfriend —her mind reminds her but she can't fight her heart. Camilla closes her eyes and allows Ethan to take the lead.
"Camilla breakfast- sir Ethan!" Mary's voice breaks them from their position and Ethan's wolf almost breaks out in anger. That was supposed to be their moment. He was going to taste her lips!
Mary sees the change in his eyes and fear crawls to her. "I am so sorry sir. I didn't mean to interrupt," she quickly mutters before running back out of the room.
The brief distraction is all the control Camilla needed to take charge, she gets up from the bed, wiping her hands on her shorts.
"We should go down for breakfast, I am sure everyone is waiting," she says, her eyes gazing at anything but his face.
He nods, getting up from the bed. "You are right. We should go," he says offering her his hand.
She stares at it cautiously like it would turn into a monster and pin her to the bed but looking at the smile on his handsome face, she places her hands on his and they walk out of the room together.
Jessie almost falls out of her seat as she sees them approaching together. She jumps to her feet and runs to Ethan.
"Baby! I have missed you so much!" She whines pulling him into a hug. He hugs back but doesn't let go of Camilla's hand.
Jessie tries to stylishly pull his hand away from Camilla but he stops her, understanding her games. "Jessie, how have you been?" Holding her by his left, he leads the two of them to the table.
"I have not been fine at all. You forgot about me! Not once did you call me! Ethan, I am so hurt!" She pouts. Ethan places her on her chair and releases her hand.
"I have been so busy. I am sorry I couldn't call," he says walking to his seat with Camilla's hand still held in his.
Camilla's butterflies resume their flutters as she feels very special. Despite his busy schedule, he still called her so many times yet he didn't call Jessie.
Jessie is glaring at Camilla as if her eyes can burn her. She is so jealous of the way Ethan is treating Camilla. She is supposed to be his girlfriend, yet he treats her like a stranger.
Ethan places Camilla on the seat beside him and even while they are sitting, her hand is still in his.
Jessie is about to whine about something else when Peter enters the room with a vexed-looking Sandra. As Peter sees Ethan, his frown vanishes, and a smile replaces it.
"Finally, someone decided to return!" Peter comments walking to his seat. "Why didn't you call that you were coming?"
"He didn't call anyone. He was too busy!" Jessie jumps to comment and Peter glares at her angrily.
"What are you saying? I don't remember asking you a question!" He snaps at her.
Sandra isn't happy with the way Peter responds to Jessie but she doesn't say a word. She has grown timid the moment she saw that Ethan was in the room with us. She keeps her focus on the table, studying the pattern of the cloth-like she is seeing it for the first time.
Camilla is snickering at Jessie's bad luck this morning when Mary comes in with her team. They all carry covered trays of food and as usual, Camilla knows it's going to taste better than the one they had before. Mary always makes her food taste better than the next. Camilla doesn't know how the woman manages but since she has been staying in the Estate she hasn't been able to point at a favorite food. Everything Mary does is exceptional.
"Sandra, I didn't know you had come here."
