TO KILL A GIRL
Sandra has been noticing the growing affection between Lisa and Peter and it drove her mad. She couldn't sit still and watch them continue. She is at the risk of losing everything if their relationship ever goes past the kitchen meetings, walks in the garden, and annoying stares they gave each other during meal times.
Her anger boiled so much that her wolf threatened to surface it wanted to tear out something. She tries to breathe in to calm herself but it doesn't work. Frustrated, she hits her fist on the wall making Jessie jump from where she stood.
"What's the matter?" Jessie asks her.
Sandra stares at Jessie like she is the dumbest person in the world. "Are you going to sit there and ask me that? You know exactly what is wrong yet you ask me! What do you want me to reply to that! That fool Lisa is taking Peter away from me! I have already lost everything, I can't lose Peter too. I can't!" Sandra snaps.
Jessie tries to calm her but words refuse to form in her mouth. What can she say to make Sandra feel better? Nothing.
She also doesn't like the rats staying on the estate with them. And she also wished they could eliminate them and she could be a wait to have them thrown into a pit either dead or alive.
"Jessica, I need you to make that pie. Today. Like right now." Sandra's eyes are red and she looks like she hasn't had a good sleep in a long time. Her face kooks fallen and despite the quantity of makeup, she applies it doesn't go away. It is still there on her face.
"Okay, I will go to the kitchen and get it done," Jessie says jumping to her feet. Jessie loved Sandra. She did everything for Sandra to consider her as a mate and a colleague, so she tries to always satisfy her in any way that she can.
Jessie moves out of the room they had chosen to make their evil plans which were her room. She catwalks to the kitchen where she met them cleaning. They had just had dinner so the kitchen staff was cleaning after them. She walks to the drawer and opens it up, she starts searching for flour and other ingredients for making a pie
"Miss Jessie, is there something you need?" Mary asks her.
Jessie turns to look at the person questioning her, she glares at her from her head to her toe as slowly and as degrading as possible before returning to the drawer. "I need to make a pie, can you be useful and help me with it?"
Mary would have loved to refuse but she needed her job. Plus she respected her boss, Ethan a lot too. She will not want anything that can cause a misunderstanding between Ethan and her.
"No, problem, I'll do it." Mary's eye is twitching in anger but despite herself, she has to do it
"Perfect!" Jessie exclaims clapping her hands in excitement.
"Please, step aside," Mary tells her.
Jessie steps to the side and Mary gets to work on the pie. She takes out the flour and ingredients she needs from the drawers and starts working on them. "How many people do you want it for?" Mary asks her.
"Oh, hmm... Two people..." She says as she takes a seat on the counter and starts pressing away on her phone.
Mary gets to work on the muddling and folding and before long the dough is ready to go into the oven. She fixes the timer and sets the temperature before placing the dough inside the oven to start cooking.
"Aren't you done yet?" Jessie asks as she checks her nails. The pie is starting to take too long based on her timing. She wants to sprinkle poison on it, why overcook it?
Mary rolls her eyes in exasperation. Jessie is always very bossy and unlike Lisa and Camilla, she doesn't help yet she expects to get a lot of things in return. Instead of Jessie being grateful to Mary for helping her make such an impromptu pie at a time when she should have been resting, she continues to make proud comments.
"I have been here for like forever!" Jessie hisses checking the time or her silver wristwatch.
Mary is about to give her a sly reply when the oven timer beeps. She heaves a sigh and switches off the open before opening it. She wears her gloves and takes out the tray from the machine.
Mary places the pie on the table to cool and proceeded to clean the utensils she had used to work. She cleans the machine itself and washes her hands, preparing to leave.
"Finally!" Jessie exclaims stepping down from her position on the counter. She takes the pie and starts walking out of the kitchen without as much as whispering a thank you to Mary.
Mary shakes her head and retires to her room to rest for the day.
Jessie catwalks with the pie to her room. Sandra is waiting first patiently. "Have you gotten the pie?" She asks the moment Jessie comes into the room.
"Yes, all done!" She screeches, placing the pie on the Dressing table.
Sandra's eyes light up in excitement as she sees the cake. She runs to her purse and takes out a white sealed bag containing a transparent substance in it.
Sandra dribbles the content on a side of the pie and points the safe side to Jessie. "This is the part you are to eat, take it." She hands Jessie the pie. "Take it to her, Jessica. Let that bitch be gone for good!"
Jessie smiles, her heart skipping as she happily takes the tray with a plan of her own. She will make sure both Camilla and Lisa eat the pie, a perfect definition of killing two birds with one stone in her case, it isn't a stone but a pie.
Jessie reaches Camilla's door and knocks on the door gently. Lisa opens the door, and when her eyes land on Jessie, she raises her brows.
"Hi!" Jessie says plastering a white toothy smile on her face.
Lisa's eyes are about to drop as she raises her palm to Jessie's face. "Camilla!" Lisa calls not taking her eyes off of Jessie in front of her.
Jessie shifts her weight to her left leg and her fake smile grows even bigger.
"What is it, can't you stay two minutes without me?" Camilla calls back from within the room.
Jessie's weird smile grows impossibly bigger as she waits for Lisa to allow her to talk. Her cheeks muscles were starting to hurt from all her forced smiling.
"There is a scary person here to see you... And she is with a pie!" Lisa yells out still glaring cautiously at Jessie.
"What?" Camilla squeaks.
Two seconds later she comes to the door with a white towel tied around her head and a large pink towel around her chest. As her eyes also land on Jessie, she blinks multiple times before staring at Lisa for help. Lisa shrugs and raises her hands in abandon.
"I don't know what's going on, she's your problem." Lisa waves her hand and starts walking back to the room.
"Lisa!" Jessie yells and Lisa stops.
"Me?" Lisa questions pointing at herself.
"Yeah... I want to talk to the both of you..." Jessie explains herself.
Lisa comes back and holds the door slightly closed a sign to Jessie that she will not be allowed into their room.
"We are listening, " Camilla says holding onto her towel. She had been taking a shower but had to run when Lisa said someone was at the door for her and that the person looked scary.
"Well, I want to make..." The words seem to hang in her throat. "I want peace. I want to make peace between us..."
"Huh?" Camilla is flabbergasted. She can't believe the words are slipping out of Jessie's mouth. Does she want to make peace with them?
"You want peace? " Lisa glares coldly at her. "Is that why you brought that?" Lisa points a long finger at the pie in Jessie's hands.
"Yes," Jessie confirms to Lisa. A vein pops on her forehead as she looks at Lisa and Camilla notices that she is struggling to remain nice.
"You should eat it before it gets cold..." She adds with another wide smile.
"Where is your accomplice?" Lisa comments looking over Jessie's shoulders with fire in her eyes.
Jessie looks like she will cry but she still manages to keep her smile.
"I'll take it," Camilla quickly says, saving Jessie from a major breakdown. She happily passes the tray to her.
"Not so fast!" Lisa snaps narrowing her eyes at Jessie.
Camilla stares at Lisa, wondering what she wanted to do again.
"Take a portion of it and eat!" Lisa folds her arms across her chest and watches Jessie.
Sweat breaks out on Jessie's made-up face as she studies the pie like it's a mathematical equation. Lisa and Camilla exchange looks.
"Aren't you going to eat the pie, Jessica?" Lisa sneers.
Jessie finally takes out a portion of the cake and shoves it in her mouth, smiling like she has seen death. "See, I have eaten it!" She mumbles with food in her mouth.
"Yeah," Lisa and Camilla chorus, also smiling at her.
"I'll go now. Bye!" She adds before running off in the direction of her room.
Lisa and Camilla stare at her with strange looks, before they slowly retreat into their rooms.
"You are not going to eat that are you?" Lisa asks as she makes a disgusting face at the pie like it is rotten poop.
Camilla looks down at the pie and then back up at Lisa. "Did you see the look on her face when you asked her to eat it?" Camilla knew at that moment that the pie was bad from the way Jessie behaved.
Lisa thought carefully about it before she stretches her hands to the pie. "Give it to me, " she demands. Camilla hands her the pie and she takes it out of the room.
Lisa returns five minutes later, tapping her hands together. "Now, we wait," she says.
"What did you do with it?" Camilla asks. They both know the pie had something in it or maybe it was just a horrible prank, but whatever happens, Camilla worried about what Lisa did with it.
"I gave it to the dog at the security post at the gate..." She says, nonchalantly. "Like I said all we have to wait now is wait."
Camilla raises her brows in surprise. Since she has been staying on the estate, she has never had a dog at the security post.
"Lisa, what dog did you give the pie to?"
Lisa shrugs her shoulder. "I don't know, I saw something that looked like a dog a few nights ago, I figured they were dogs. I dropped it there... We just have to wait till morning."
