　　The day went by and by the time I was about to head home, I got a text from Nolan inviting me over to his place. He had sent a car over to the office to pick me up and since I didn't have anything to do back at home, it was a good idea plus it would take my mind off the whole thing with Marcus.

　　Just like he said, he sent a car over to get me with his driver and as soon as I walked into his apartment, the scent of the meal he had prepared welcomed ...
