I couldn’t count the number of Sodom’s workers that pounced on Fabian after the shot was fired. Everything was happening so fast, my eyes caught movement in flashes, one of the Sodom’s girls broke the neck of Fabian’s workers in the most unnatural and gruesome way I’ve ever seen. Every one seemed inhuman. I barely had time to think of what’s happening. I quickly carried Irena; I got her name from one of the girls. I asked any of her workers to cover me while I tried to escape with her, but they were all caught up fighting. Ignoring the risk, I raced to my car with speed I didn’t know I had. I had so many questions, but I was too scared of losing this beautiful woman to be bothered by then. One of her workers, I think the DJ ran towards me in a flash just as I was about to leave.

“Where are you taking her to?” She hissed. Are those fangs?

“Look, I’m a friend, and she needs all the help she can get. I’m taking her to my mansion, I’ll call my doctor, she saved my fucking lif-”

“-I and my brother are coming with you.” She stated, interrupting me. A large menacing looking guy took Irena's unconscious body from my arms and in a flash they were in Irena’s car ready to go but waiting for me.

I quickly ran to my car and drove like a mad man leading them until we got to my mansion. I didn’t think of taking her to a hospital because what I witnessed a few minutes ago is not something that I think should be exposed to the public, at least not until I get an explanation.

I called my doctor on my way home and by the time we got there, he was waiting for us with a nurse by his side.

“Who's that?” the guy asked as he carried Irena out.

“He's my-”

“-if he's here for Madam, then send him back, we have someone on his way.” The DJ girl said interrupting me

“After what you saw, you think your human doctor can do shit?” the big guy asked, giving me a disapproving look.

I called my doctor and asked him to leave. Confused, he drove off.

Just as he left, a Jaguar E-type drove in at a crazy speed and out came a man wearing a white lab coat.

I'm guessing he's the doctor they called.

They rushed her inside at inhuman speeds, taking her into the nearest room which happened to be my room.

The doctor asked me to leave, and I went to my bar. And thought about all the things I've seen. Are they vampires? Do Vampires exist? I was so confused. And when more confusing was me trying to understand why she jumped in to take the bullet for me. Maybe she didn't think it would hurt her. That has to be it, but what are the bullets made of? Wood? Silver? We’re they coated in garlic? Or dipped in holy water? I was so confused. I needed to get answers, and I was ready to wait.

Ten minutes later, one of my servants informed me that they needed my help.

I went back to my room.

“She needs blood.” The doctor stated as soon as I came in. I was right, they are vampires.

There was an empty blood pack attached to an IV. I was confused.

“They were silver bullets, she needs blood directly from a source.”

Immediately I took off my suit jacket and shirt. She saved my life, I owe her anything.

“How do I give it to her?”

The big guy smirked and grabbed my wrist.
