I got to work rather late the next morning and the first thing I heard walking into the club was the news report

“people living around the area who got to see the crime scene, could not bear to describe what they saw as what has to be the most gruesome form of torture after that of the moon light walker in the small town of Yangon”

I scoffed, that was little compared to what I did to the Jack the ripper and many others that committed more hefty crimes against man kind.

But those couples, they deserve what’s coming to them.

“Reports we are having are that these two severely tortured couples Mr Hank and Mrs Lois Barbos, from Mississippi, were guilty of serial killing a number of girls, including raping, torturing and abusing these girls. A box containing Thirty video recordings of thirty different girls that have been brutally murdered and assaulted by these couples. Some of the victims were declared missing in various the various towns they were abducted from and whether dead or alive, they ranged from the ages of thirteen to eighteen, the video CDs found shows that these delinquents have been on their killing spree for more than ten years and had no plans to stop. Investigators found a stick it note on the Me Hanks laptop which read that the couples have been uploading this hideous videos on the dark web and making a fortune out of it. Upon bringing in their best computer geniuses to hack into their site, the information left by the unknown torturer proved to be true as their best geniuses are working hard to identify and arrest those who had sponsored the couples.”

Good I said nodding, it’s to late though, because when I get to my office, I’ll be asking Carlos to use his skills to expose those sponsors for me.

Carlos happens to be a genius computer scientist and has been helping me deal with some tech issues over the invention of the internet, he is also helping me figure out the whereabouts of Fabian Ruiz.

“The girls were found in the couple’s room, in chains all four of them, not counting the two freshly dead girls. It’s was a sad sight that stirs anger and sadness, as the girls were extremely underfed, naked and in chains. The two dead girls were identified as Stacy Corps, 14, who got missing in the fifth of June 2020 in westham street of Dakota, and Rosie Beckham 12, who was reportedly kidnapped on her way to school on first of April 2021 in Kentucky. Two of the girls alive were identified as Macy Johnson and Ella Thorne from New York and they have both been identified by their parents. The other two girls Cassidy Hardee and Mia Jones from Malibu and Miami each, are yet to be identified by their parents or guardians. Upon discovery, the girls were immediately taken to the hospital where they are being examined and taken care of. God bless the souls of those dead from the hands of these couples-”

-if the parents of those girls are never found, I will personally take them under my care.

“-one of them reported that she had been praying for a miracle when the burglary proof door of the room they were in fell forward and a lazy who she couldn’t see clearly as a result of the dust told them that they would no longer suffer and then disappeared-”

Poor girl, I didn’t disappear, I just ran out.

“The couples would be tried in court after treatment and they both are without limbs and tongues, Mr Hank suffers a severe concussion to the head, and his wife Mrs Lois has a jaw that’s beyond repair, and as a result we would be unable to know who the torturer was-”

Exactly, that was the plan. They would never be about to share their pain is and burdens with anyone.

-“ majority of the public are I’m support of the jungle justice rendered, calling the mysterious torturer the punisher, while others a few if the population claim that the torturer was no different from the killers. Was the punisher behind the gruesome murder of the moon light walker? We would never know as the police are still on the hunt for his or her.”

Just then my phone rang, it was Anwar.

“I see you did a great job as always Madam,” he said as soon as I answered the call.

I smirked as I walked into the elevator “You should keep learning from the best” I told him

“I am learning from the best” he laughed “no one will obviously tell you this, but thank you for saving those girls”

I smiled genuinely “humanity is welcome” I stated.

He hung up and I reached my destination in my building.

I soon got to the refurbished room and I couldn’t tell the difference between the way it is now and the way it was before. They had done a good job, their service was worth the money. No one would be able to tell that place was changed at all.

I took the elevator back to the office and replied the messages Magnus had left for me on WhatsApp I waited for the elevator to stop at my office floor. He wanted me to spend the night at his place, probably going through some boy drama. I gave him a positive reply. I soon got to my office.

“Good morning madam” Leslie greeted immediately I walked in.

“I saw your missed calls yesterday Leslie, how did the meeting go?”

“The company I decided that we should work with have this very amazing new technology developed by their boss himself who happens to be a well sorted after computer genius. It's had only been run and worked on the computers, and the tech firm is looking for a company to test run the security technology properly,” she grinned excitedly, “I just airdropped the features of this security tech to you, it is very expensive but worth the price and it would eventually be more expensive when it has been tested and proved successful.” She added.

I checked the features on my phone and it was indeed amazing and I felt like it was an amazing opportunity we shouldn’t let slide off.

The company is willing to take thirty percent off the cost, and if the test run doesn't work perfectly, our money would be refunded to us with an additional thirty percent payment.

“so did you seal the deal?” I asked dropping my phone.

She shook her head “no, not yet. On the basis that the technology proofs to not be 99.9% efficient as it should be, it would put our company and business at risk, and so I knew you would like to meet the company head and owner personally and have a better discussion and agreement on the coarse of action.” She replied smiling, knowing the fact that she has done something that I approved of.

“Alright that's definitely the right thing to do, it’s perfect. When would this meeting be held?” I inquired

“In an hour madam” she replied

“Okay,” I replied taking out a flask that contained blood I’ve been preserving for an emergency phase of hunger. It would be able to keep me going for at most three days.

Smelling the blood, Leslie tried to control her urges.

I smiled “want some?” she nodded “when last did you feed?” I asked bringing out another flask.

Yeah, I lied about making it seem like I have just one.

“Two days ago,” Lesley stuttered taking the flask.

“Urm I and Matt got in a fight, but I’ll be seeing him today, so I’ll be good.” She blushed.

Leslie’s way of feeding when she doesn’t want blood from blood banks was by dating humans and feeding off them from time to time.

The saliva of my kind; the vampires has an enzyme that heals the wound of a human once our fangs are out of their flesh. And with our ability to compel humans, we can feed off them without them ever knowing.

She opened the jar and drank it’s content hungrily.

Most modern day vampires find it gross or disgusting, but a vampire's gotta do what he has to do.

Vampires feed from blood banks and those who have access to human blood off it’s source feed off the source. It’s a simple as that. Newly turned vampires or young vampires are fed with blood packs until they learn self control and can be among humans without being overwhelmed by the urge to bite and feed.

The death if a human as a result of uncontrolled hunger or lack of self control would lead to the death of a vampire. This rule was made by the council. And only vampires in danger in death of death from humans or assigned to kill one are allowed to take the lives of humans. I had set different vampires in place for that, Anwar happens to be one of them. It was my duty as Vampire Queen to kill those who take the life of those with no regard to their partners and with no regard to life.
