The weekend was finally here, not like it was a break or anything, I mean clubs and hotels are most definitely functional during the weekends, although I didn't have to stay if I don't want to.

Having that in mind, Magnus insisted that we go to the amusement park

Well being that I wasn’t worried or scared about the activities that goes on in an amusement park, unlike some people for example Magnus, I agreed

But I don’t understand why someone that’s scared of almost every ride in the fucking park is so eager to go to the park

He says he wants to face his fear but I know him well to know that it's more than that, or his reason for wanting to go to the back is not related to facing his fear in any way

I didn’t read his mind because Magnus had warned me against doing so except during our old time fighting wars and dealing with different plights for mankind, saving them. Magnus wasn’t a huge fan of my art.

The security system was installed all over my two buildings consisting of the club/hotel and the home of my girls. For now it has been functioning fine and I am very impressed about it’s functionality and precision. I wouldn’t have to worry about crooks changing range and metal detectors not functioning. And speaking of that, Carlos reported that he’s actually close on pin pointing Fabian’s location. I’m going to cause as much damage to his business as he had to mine. And until I figure out why I wasn’t able to use my powers in his presence and why his bullets were silver I would restrain myself from killing him.

The Lewiston human has been doing well to maintain the professionalism between us when we stumble on each other during his regular 'check ups' to 'ensure that his security system works perfectly' and give a positive test run.

Although I catch him checking me out or staring at me or my boobs or ass several, he does it discreetly most times, I think, and besides I’m an attractive woman, it’s his problem if he doesn’t stare

The human monitors the functioning process of his security system from his home, along with two of his staffs, so I don’t why he had to come almost everyday.

I don’t want to admit that I’m getting used to his frequent presence in my City, and I don't want to admit that I catch myself discreetly sniffing the air around him, allowing myself to be aroused by his scent, or that I look forward to seeing his cocky, disrespectful self every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by 10 a.m.

No I didn't like it, and I can’t wait for this month to be over so I’ll have his handsome ass out of my hair.

“You’ve not even had your bath” Magnus exclaimed walking into my room

“you didn't say we were in a rush” I complained begrudgingly

“Irena, we have to get the amusement park by nine so we can try out every single ride and have extra fun, and it’s eight thirty!” he complained like the child that he might be, being almost as old as I am still never changed him

I remained sprawled on the bed and refused to get up.

“Come on” he urged trying to pull me up, “you have to take your bath now or we’ll be late” he complained

“the amusement park isn’t running away Magnus” I said grumpily

“Well the idea of having extra time for fun is definitely running away” he said sulking

I sighed and stood up

“Okay, okay I’ll have my fucking bath” I said getting up and lazily taking off my clothes

“Great!” he exclaimed “I need some wine, I’ll be back” he got up and left the room

“Of course” I whispered, having stripped completely.

“That vampire must be drinking some good profit off his business” I said under my breath as I walked into the bathroom

I took my shower and came out with a towel wrapped around my body to see that Magnus had already picked out an outfit for me. It was a pair of ripped denim and a large black hoodie, with a pair of boots. Perfect!

“Wear those” he said excitedly before going back to doing whatever he was doing on his phone

I dressed up, packed my long red curls in a messy bun, applied some lip gloss and I was done

“I’m done” I announced staring at Magnus curiously

He looked up from his phone “alright, you look amazing” he said after giving me a thorough, scrutinizing check up “our ride will be here any time soon” he said putting his phone in his pocket.

“You ordered a ride?” I asked frowning

He looked at me like he couldn’t believe that I just asked that “well yes, durrrh” I hate it when he does that, and he knows, so he does it. “who goes to the amusement park driving an expensive ass car?” he asked

“whatever” I said pouting and closing my eyes firmly “why are we going to the park anyways?”

He laughed nervously “erm I told you before, I want to have fun and face my fears”

I rolled my eyes “for a strong ass immortal, you have a shit ton of fears Magnus”

“You know the rides are one them” he said pouting

“By 'the rides' you mean every single ride in the park right?” I asked giving him a ridiculous stare

“Yes, and I plan on facing them today” he said putting on a brave façade

“I know you’re lying Magnus”

He groaned long and hard

“Okay, okay I’ll tell you when we get to the park” he said picking up his wine glass

“Why don’t you want to tell me now?” I asked suspiciously

“Cos I don’t want to, okay?” he replied pouting

“Are you trying to set me up with someone like you did the other time?” I asked getting even more suspicious

He shook his head

“No, no nothing like that I promise” he replied

I gave him a skeptical look, Magnus had once set me up with a fellow vampire on a blind date, it went well, until we found ourselves in the bedroom and he realized that he didn’t dig dominants, and that was the end of that.

“Our ride is here!” Magnus said excitedly getting up and walking out of the room. I quickly grabbed my phone and hurried after him, wondering how I’ve been stuck with a child for centuries

Our Uber rider was a sexy female. She was extremely attractive and I found myself checking her out severally

Alas our ride was short-lived but I smoothly collect-

“-Did you fucking just got her number?” Magnus asked as soon be as she drove off.

“Yup” I said smirking and spinning around.

I have always loved the amusement park, it was one of human’s best invention, at least one that’s not causing direct damage to the planet

“Yayyyy!!!” Magnus exclaimed like a little kid. I chuckled as he threw his arms on my shoulder, pushing us towards the fun.

Magnus demanded that we get cotton candy before he tells me why we’re here

We both got double cotton candy because why not?

Sugar rush tonight!

I moaned as the delicious burst of bubblegum flavored cotton candy melted in my mouth

“This is good stuff” Magnus said nodding in approval

“I know right? I haven’t had cotton candy in such a long time” I said stuffing my mouth again.

“Mwee tooo” Magnus said

We both laughed

“So, so serious business” I stated at him intensely-

“-there's a fluff of cotton candy on your nose” Magnus pointed out

I took it off, put it in my mouth where it belongs and went back to staring at him intensely.

“What?” he asked avoiding my stare.

I raised my eyebrows in a question like manner

“what do you mean what? You said you’ll tell me the real reason why we’re here after we get cotton candy” I said eyeing him

He laughed nervously “yeah that’s true”

I nodded “yup, so speak up, I’m eager to know”

“Well, I kinda came here to find someone” he said rubbing the back of his neck.

“You what?!!!” I exclaimed causing the head of a few people to turn towards us

“keep your voice down” Magnus whispered looking around

“You what?” I asked again with a hushed voice

“I came here to look for someone” he replied

“What the fuck Magnus? First off, you came to the park to look for someone, I’m guessing a cute guy that you’ve probably stalked the life out of. Secondly, what are the chances that you’ll find him in this very large park.-“

“-I’m a vampire Irena darling, I’ll find him” he said interrupting me

I ignored him and continued “and thirdly, if you do find him, what are you going to do with me?” I asked pointing at myself

He laughed nervously “I wouldn’t leave you alone, that’s for sure”

“So what the fuck are you going to do with me? Cos I’m most definitely not going to third wheel” I said furiously

He kept on laughing nervously

“You didn’t think about that right?” I asked crossing my arms

He shook his head pouting

“How did you even know that he’s coming to this fucking amusement park? In fact who is he?” I asked curiously

Magnus could be the most impulsive vampire in existence.

“He’s this famous gamer on YouTube. He’s so cute and adorable and I have like this huge crush on him and during a live gaming session, he said something about coming to this park today with his friend and I plan to win his heart with my charm and sexy” he explained with the most innocent expression ever

“Magnus you’ve been stalking him!” I exclaimed hitting his head slightly “you’ve been fucking stalking him, you and I both know that you don’t know shit about gaming”

“I know, I know, that’s what I’m saying, I stumbled upon one of his videos and since then I’ve watched every available video on his channel” I groaned “I think I’m in love with him”

I quickly shushed him “you’re in love with him, you just have a fucking huge crush” I corrected

“What does it matter? I’ve been trying to reach him since I saw his first video, but it’s as if he never goes out, I figured out where he lives but you can only visit him with his permission. He’s such an introverted cutie and I want to spoil him for me” he wailed even more

“you don’t even know if he’s gay!” I exclaimed

He frowned “he is.” He sounded so sure

“How did you know? Did he say so himself or is it in record or something?” I asked I’m wonderment of the kind of Vampire I have as a close friend

“He didn’t say, but I can tell. My gaydar is always right” he said still sounding very certain

“And if he’s not?” I asked again

“Then he’s gay but doesn’t know it” he replied frowning again

“and if he’s actually totally straight?” I asked baffled

“Then he’ll be gay for me”

“What the fuck Magnus, you don’t force people to have a particular sexuality” I lectured

“Who said I’ll be forcing him?” he asked “he’ll do so himself”

“Oh boyyy” I face palmed “lets jus go have as much fun as we can while you do your search” I said pulling him to the darts section

He grinned excitedly “you see? That’s why I love you, you always understand”

I shook my head as I pulled out some cash from the pocket of my hoodie to pay for our tickets.

Am I the only one that think Magnus need to be in an asylum?
