Carlisle.

　　Moving out of Damon's warm arm, I look at him with a last glance before walking away. Even though he is trying to look strong, I could see the glint of sadness on his face. He doesn't want to leave.

　　When he first approached I thought maybe he wanted to force himself to kiss me. I blush heavily staring at the red rose which was cliched on my hand as I remembered the kiss we shared together. It was the most wonderful and lovely kiss I have ever had. Sniffing the red rose, I smile softly. I never imagined I could easily forgive him not after what he has made me pass through but realized what happened when I succumbed to his talk which led to the kiss. I touch the lips and smile, thinking of the kiss. I held the rose firmly, it was a form of remembrance. It was a few minutes and I am missing Damon already.

　　Getting to the park border, I met some guards at the gate. I walk out of the huge gigantic gate, look back at the pack with a last glance before walking to any direction my instincts lead me.

　　Laying on the bed with my eyes, I smile as the memory of me and Carlisle kissing pop into my head. I love the way she passionately kisses me, not without forcing her. I really love her, she has a cool and soft heart. I mean forgiving just in a snap of a finger, she's forgiven me after the pains and agony I made her go through. I don't know what is wrong with me, but it seems I can't take her cute and beautiful face out of my head. The more I try to remove her thoughts from my head, the more her cute face pops into my head. It really seems I am missing her already, even though it hasn't been up to a minute she left the pack. My wolf growls angrily that our mate is gone.

　　Even though I know the decision I took to grant her access is wrong, I have to make her happy at least even if it is the last time. She has been on this, leaving the pack. She went as still as killing the guards who tried to challenge her, this shows how she meant to leave the pack. I have to investigate more about how she was able to get the dagger. It was someone who gave it to her. But who is the person? There is a traitor or a spy in our midst. I don't know what to say to the elders that have found my mate and she leaves me, I should just say reject me.

　　I will make sure she becomes my one and only Luna, she left my pack not my life so I am going to do something about it. Now that I know that she has something for me, I mean feel something for me. I have to come up with a plan to make her stay with me.

　　Standing up from the bed, I stretch my hand widely with yawns which escape from my lips. I need a cool hot tea to chill my body. I call the guard at the front of my suite door through the mind link. I can't shout. The

　　The door pulled open with a squeaking sound as the guard walked in after knocking at the door. He looked at me and bowed in respect.

　　"You called for me, Alpha" I stare at him before nodding softly.

　　"Yes I called for you, call a maid to prepare a hot tea for me, and bring it to my room"

　　"Okay Alpha, right away"he said with his gaze on the floor before walking away. In a few minutes, a brown haired maid walked into my room with a tray and a cup of tea on it. She bowed with a smile.

　　"Good day Alpha, this is the tea you requested for, you would really like it"I don't why she is saying this but I know there is something in her mind but I remain mute not to be too forward.

　　"Drop it on the wooden table"she nods her head and walks to the table, getting there she purposely bent low exposing her ass before dropping the tea on the table. I think she wants to seduce me.

　　"Am done, Alpha,"she said, adjusting her clothes properly.

　　"You can take your leave"I said and reached for the tea on the wood. I looked up and it was down to me that the maid hadn't left. Getting annoyed, I spoke out coldly.

　　"What are you waiting for?"she looked at me, smiled and licked her lips, staring at me seductively.

　　"Am waiting for you, Alpha"she said and moved her hand to her chest region in an attempt to lose the button to expose her breast. She shivers in fear as my eyes flash crimson red. What the hell! She really wants to seduce me.

　　"Don't you dare lose that button, get out of my sight before I lose it"Immediately I utter this statement with anger, she grumbles silently even though she thought I didn't hear but I pretend, she shivers and stumbles out of my room. I scoff with a sigh. I would have dealt with her but she is lucky that I am not in the mood. I mean I have many things to tend to. How am I going to get my maids and how did she get the dagger? This has the two questions of a thing troubling me in my mind. And I really have to do something about it.

　　Drinking the whole content in a gulp, I heave out with smoke emitting from my mouth. I drop the cup on the table and take a mystery novel on the wooden table. I flip the book cover to the first chapter, I fix my gaze on it while reading it, I remove my gaze from the book and look up as the door pulls open with a loud squeaking sound.

　　I drop the book on the wooden table as my mum comes into view. It has been a long time since I saw my sister, she has left the pack for a trip. I know she would be surprised and sad that Carlisle has left the pack. Standing up from the chair, I bow a little and close the distance between us, and hug her.

　　"Mum am sorry"she hasn't visited ever since we had an argument over the Carlisle issue, about whether I should leave her. Staring at her face, I frown in displeasure, her face doesn't look good.

　　"Mum, what's wrong with your face?"She looked at me and put on a smile which I knew was fake. Her face has a glint of sadness. Even though she tries to hide it, it is visible. But what could cause her to be sad? She looked at me and cupped my cheek in her hand.

　　"Am also sorry son, I fail to do my role as a mother to you"I look at her confusedly. What could cause her to be saying this?

　　"Mum, what all this, why are you saying this?" I ask and she smiles sadly.

　　"I fail as a mother to persuade your mate, I mean the mate you have been looking for, for so many years, now she has leave you"

　　"Mum, you don't have to be sorry, I'm okay" I said, even though I knew it wasn't okay. I really feel empty without Carlisle here with me even though he hasn't been staying with us. She nodded softly with a soft smile.

　　"Son, you've made the right decision by granting her access to leaving the pack, hope you enjoy your short kisses and all that in the garden?"I growl softly with a chuckle as she teases me. I replied it was fine.

　　"Don't think of scolding your guards, you know I always have my ways"I nodded even though my mind is not in what she is saying.

　　"You don't have to worry about her, she will come around sooner or later, and if not we will find something to do about it"she said and ruffled my hair. She looked at me in an instant as I called for her attention.

　　"Mum, there is something bothering my mind and I think of sharing it with you"

　　"And what could that be?

　　"You must have heard the latest update in the pack?"

　　"Do you mean your mate? Or which update are you talking about?

　　"Yes, it's about my mate, don't you notice something odd?"

　　"Do you mean as she break out of the cell room"

　　"She can't possibly adjack a guard with the posture she was, my observation is that the dagger was dropped on the floor or given to her, I think there is a traitor or spy in the pack. I think we have to do something about it"I nod my head with my hand rubbing my chin doing some thinking. I don't really know what to do. We are thinking the same.

　　"Mum, what do you think we should do? I mean we need a quick action"she looked at me, with the look on her face, I knew she was thinking.

　　"The quick action, I could have right now to lock the park border and gate preventing every movement, you have to interrogate every guard in the pack"I look at her confusedly, what does she mean by every guard? How do I get the culprit? I mean with a hundred guards. I don't understand what she means.

　　"Mum, can you enlighten me a bit, I don't understand, I mean how do I get the culprit of a guard considering the guards in the pack"she looks at me and smiles.

　　"That the only thing I could think of, about how you would find the culprit, you are intelligent and the goddess by her grace would help and guide you through"she said in an assuring way, I nod my head and she smiles.

　　Mind linking to Kieran, I order him to be in my room in the next few minutes, I don't have to waste much time on this again. In the next few seconds, he dashed into my room and bowed his head. He greeted my mum with full accord respect.

　　"Good day, Alpha you called for me"

　　"Yes, I want you to lock every gate and border of the pack, nobody is allowed to step a foot out of the pack, I repeat no one is allowed to step a foot out of the pack"he was surprised and shocked even though he tried to hide it.

　　"Announce to the guards to assemble at the podium ground, I have an important message to pass"

　　He nodded with a bow and walked away.

　　"Son, you've done the right thing"she said and I nodded.

　　Shoving a huge meat, I chew it with pleasure and quickly swallow it into my stomach as Damon the Alpha, mind link to me. He said I should be in his room in the next few minutes. Standing up from the wooden chair, I look at delicacies of food on the table with a last glance before walking out of the room. The food is mouth watering and delicious. I had to miss the food because of the Alpha. What is the reason why he needs my attention? He doesn't call for my attention if he doesn't have anything serious on hand. What is the problem?

　　Oh! It might be about his mate who left the pack, he must be in a big heart break. They might have had an issue before, hmm! That may be the reason why he went to the club and drank to stupor. What did he want me to do?

　　Dashing into his suite, I bow in respect of the Queen of the pack and the Alpha. I greeted him and he responded even though his mood seemed to be different. His look and character looks cold.

　　"Yes, I want you to lock every gate and border of the pack, nobody is allowed to step a foot out of the pack, I repeat no one is allowed to step a foot out of the pack" I was surprised and shocked at his statement. What could have really happened to make him want to lock the border gate? His mate has left the pack so what could cause him to lock the pack border. Something seems to be wrong and fishy.

　　"Announce to the guards to assemble at the podium ground, I have an important message to pass"I nod my head and walk away, I should have questioned him but the Queen was with him. She really loves her son.

　　Dashing at the pack border, I met the guards at the border discussing having a serious conversation. Immediately they sense my presence and silently fall in their midst. They bow a little in fear, I am the Beta of the pack so I deserve some respect.

　　"Are you here to gossip or talk? you here to guard the pack border, well that by the way, the Alpha wants you guys to close the pack border and no one is allowed to leave or enter the pack" the guards nod their head and lock the huge gigantic gate.

　　"Now! Everyone one to the podium floor, Alpha has a message to pass across to the guards, inform the other guards" they nod and all separate to different directions.

　　I mind linking to the Alpha, I have to inform him that I am done.

　　"Alpha am done with the job, you can leave to the podium floor, the guard would have assembled on the podium floor" breaking the link, I walk to the podium floor. The floor has already been filled with numerous guards in their different respective ranks. News spread out fast in this pack.

　　I look up as the murmurings die down and silently fall in our midst. It was no one rather than the Alpha. I shake my head with a sigh staring at his cold face. His look today is unusual and unlike him.

　　Putting on nice clothes, Kieran mind linked to me. My mum has left my room after giving me assurance everything is going to be fine.

　　"Alpha am done with the job, you can leave to the podium floor, the guard would have assembled in the podium floor" immediately he announced it, he broke the link connection between us.

　　Walking out of my suite, I dash at the front of the podium floor, the floor was filled with numerous guards in their respective ranks. Silent falls on the crowdy floor immediately I step my feet on the high podium. They all bow down their heads in respect, I am too angry to respond. I clear my throat and speak up.

　　"Good day everyone" the crowd all chorus the word "fine"

　　"Well, you must have heard about the update of my mate breaking out of the prison with a dagger with her, killing the guards who try to challenge her"

　　"Am here to make something clear, a dagger was found on her hand which raise suspicious call because her hand were tied down, there was no way, she could get the dagger herself which means she was given the dagger by a guard"

　　"I want whoever that gave her the dagger to kindly move out and confess, and his punishment would be reduce"

　　"And if the person refuses and I found him or her, the person would regret ever being a member of this pack" a wide murmuring break out as the guards talk between themselves. The silence died down after I roared. I looked around waiting for anyone to move out but to no avail. I know the person wouldn't dare move out, I think it is the high time, I do what is in my mind.

　　"It seems the person isn't ready to confess" I said and looked at the space, silently praying for the goddess for my plan to work out as planned. I shifted back a little with my face in the sky, my bone broke and reshaped into a large one, as I transformed into my wolf wolf. I hurl out loudly and the fellow guards also hurl out loudly filling the space with our voice. With my sharp Alpha sight, my eyes look around the crowd searching for any guard who isn't hurling. Luckily for me, I sighted a young man dressed in a guard uniform. He wasn't hurling and the look on his face shows he has done something bad. I walked down from the podium toward his direction but didn't make it obvious. I grab him by the arm and dash out of sight. I mind linking to Kieran to meet me at the interrogation room.
