　　I squat low and stretch my hand forward to pluck the forbidden leaves. I know it is very dangerous and fierce for a werewolf to stay near this leaf. It weakens the immune system of the creatures who stay near the leaf, the leaf is very poisonous.

　　I really know what I'm about to do is bad, but what is the point of staying alive when I was rejected by my mate and the elders of the pack give me an ultimatum to bring back my mate at all cost. And what happened in the clubhouse with the red haired stripper, I know she would not want to come back to me even if she had a change of mind.

　　Bringing the leaf closer to my nose, I felt my body's immune system as my nose sniffed the dark and toxic scent emitting out of it. I cough out with my body aching badly in pain.

　　I turned my back as I heard the shuttling sound of leaves from behind, I shook my head with a sigh as a very beautiful young lady of my type came into view, she had a bow and arrows in her hand.

I ignored her about chewing the leaf when a heavy punch landed on my jaw which forced the leaf out of my mouth. I growls out weakly as blood spurt out of my mouth.

　　Why does she have to come by this time? The lady walked toward me with a smirk as I laid on the floor with my body aching badly, my face pale and dry. What is she up to? 　　"Get your dumb ass down right now britty." I groaned angrily as the voice of my one and only friend Annabel echoed around in my room. She really loves to disturb my peace.

　　"I'm coming, give me a few minutes." I said and pulled off my clothes before walking toward the bathroom. I brushed my teeth before shoving my body into the bathtub, I moaned as the cold water ran through my body.

　　Grabbing a nice fragrance soap, I scrubbed my body thoroughly before rinsing my body. I stood up from the bathtub with water dripping from my body, I grabbed a towel nearby beside me before wrapping it around my waist. I walk out of the bathroom with my hair really wet. I pulled off the towel from my waist and dried my body thoroughly before reaching for a comb on my dressing wooden table. I combed my hair properly before braiding my long silky hair which was dyed blue.

　　Walking toward the wardrobe, I pulled open the wardrobe and brought out a short tight jean and a blue top. I really love to dress like a male. I wore a top and tight jeans which brought out my sexy curves which I am always proud of.

　　I walk toward the door, twist the knob of the door before walking out of my room, descend the stairs leading to the sitting room which seems to be empty. I couldn't sense her anywhere near.

　　Descending the stairs, I suddenly stopped on my track as a nice and mouth watering aroma hit my nose. I don't have to be told that she is in the kitchen room. I didn't know when my stomach made a rumbling sound as I inhaled the sweet aroma emitting out of the kitchen.

　　I scoff nervously as I hear Annabel's laughter from the kitchen. She must have heard my stomach which made a rumbling sound earlier with the help of her sharp wolf hearing. I walk out of the sitting room heading to the kitchen.

　　I walked into the kitchen and smiled softly as she chopped some lettuce into a tray. She rinses it before pouring it into the hot boiling water pot. I shook my head with a sigh. No one would quickly know she is from the Alpha bloodline, she never for once acts like a superior.

　　She treats everyone equally. She has an Alpha brother who always talks about Damon. I really love him even though he doesn't know me. Am having a crush on him even knowing that he has found his mate after so many years. Am like a secret admirer. She looks at me as she senses my presence in the kitchen.

She faced the pot before stretching her hand at the kitchen wooden store at the top of her head. She opened it and brought out a little meat. She looked at me and pouted her lips as she took a full stare at me.

　　"Wow! You look stunning today, I am very sure my bro would be amazed by your beauty once he sees it." I looked away from her as my cheeks turned red instantly. She has always wanted me for her brother but there is nothing we can do because he has found his mate and he really loves her. I don't know but something is telling me he is going to be mine.

　　"Blushing for my bro Damon." she smiles and her expression turns blank.

　　"What do you need?" I asked because every time her expression is like this she needs something.

　　"You got me, well the meat has finished, and you know." she paused looking at my expression.

　　"Okay, no problem, I should go hunt back some animals in the forest, right?" she nodded slowly. She really loves eating food full of meat.

　　"Okay, don't worry, I will be right back." She smiles softly before facing what she was cooking.

　　"Thank you very much." She screams out loudly as I dash out of the kitchen directly to my room.

　　I bolt into my room and bend low and stretch my hand under my bed. I brought out a bow and quiver filled with arrows. I strip the quiver across my neck before dashing out of the house. I proceeded into the dark forest with my wolf sight gleaming brightly granting me the access to sighting anything around me.

　　I turned my back as the shuttling sound of leaves zoomed into my ears. I pulled the two arrows and placed them on the spring of the bow. I looked around carefully, studying any movement around me. I quickly dragged the arrow with the spring of the bow before releasing it at the big squirrel at my front.

　　Fortunately for it, it escaped the arrows but one of the arrows slash it's back a little but that doesn't stop it from running. I never miss my target so I have to get hold of this squirrel, I dash after the squirrel firing arrows at it but it dodges it moving fastly in a zigzag way which was beginning to annoy me.

　　I drew out three arrows and placed it on the spring of the bow about to fire it but retreated as the sound of a wolf growl crept in my ear. The wolf must be in trouble.

　　I ignored the squirrel and decided to go after the scent of the wolf. I walked toward the direction which the scent was leading me to. I begin to walk slowly as the scent becomes more destructive and toxic. Is this really the scent of a wolf?

　　Out of curiosity, I walked toward the scent and cleared the bushes blocking my view. I clear my face to be sure of the sight of handsome Damon in view.

　　My surprise expression turns into a shocking state as he looks at me with a visible pain on his face. A soft gasp escapes my lips as I sight the forbidden leaf in his mouth.

　　Oh, No he really want to commit suicide. I have to do something about it. I can't afford to find him dead. That must be the reason the scent was very destructive and toxic. My eyes held fear as the virus of the leaf was beginning to spread through his body which caused black veins popping out on his face. I dash at him and throw a punch at his jaw which forces the leaf out of his mouth stained with blood.

　　He fell flat on the floor weakly with blood oozing out of his mouth. He stared at me before falling unconscious.

　　I bent low and stuck the leaf into the quiver. I look at him thinking of where to take him. I can't take him to my house because his sister is with me and she lied to them that she is going for a business trip.

　　Sighting a nearby abandoned house, I carry him carefully in a bridal style before proceeding toward the house. I stared at him and shook the thought of kissing him, he really looks handsome even in his unconscious state.

　　I break down the door with my left leg, walk into the house which was filled with cobweb, clearing the cobweb before searching for a room for him.

　　The house must have been abandoned for so many years. I open the door of a room and drop him gently on the floor, clear the bed before placing him gently on it. I stared at his bright pink lips and couldn't resist the urge of kissing him. I bent my head a little and planted a soft kiss on his lips. Now I have to look for some herb to relieve him from the poison of the forbidden leaves because it seems he is dying already, the leaf really had a bad effect on him.

　　Drawing a whiskey drink on a wooden table to my hand with a telekinesis force, I grab the bottle of whiskey and open the seal before gulping down some gulp. I breathe out as the liquid of the whiskey flows down from my mouth to my throat with a hot sensation.

　　After drinking some gulps, I drop the bottle on the floor. I put off the slippers on my leg before laying on a bed. I lay on the bed with my eyes closed. I suddenly stood up from the bed as a thought struck my mind. I haven't done any investigation on the bankruptcy of the company.

　　I really have to know about the anonymous person behind the bankruptcy. I have to go to the company to investigate the issue. I pull off the golden robe on me before walking into the bathroom. I brush my teeth before laying in the bathtub, snap my finger and the cold water turns hot.

I grab a handbag before walking out of my chamber and proceed out of the kingdom.

　　Standing in front of the kingdom, I chanted a spell and a red sports car appeared in front. I open the car door and hop into that car, igniting the engine before driving out of sight.

　　I drive speedily into the company parking skillfully in the parking lot. A staff of the company walking nearby quickly rushed toward me as I opened the car door. She bowed her head before collecting the bag from my hand.

　　"Welcome sir, we are happy to see you." I nodded with a smile before walking briskly into the company with my German shoe making a creak sound.

　　The staff in the office now their head with different greetings and gawking thrown at me by the female staff.

　　"We are happy to see you here, boss." I smiled softly, which melted the heart of the female staff in the company.

　　"Where are you heading to boss?"

　　"Lead the way to the computer and control room." She bowed a little before walking toward the elevator while I followed her from behind. She pressed a button leading to the 3rd floor.

　　The elevator made a ding sound as we got to the 3rd floor. We walked out of the elevator, I dismissed her and collected the bag from her as we got to the doorstep of the control room. She walks away with a bow.

　　The door pulls open automatically as the biometric screening scans my face. Tension falls in the room as I step into the room, the agents in the room all stop their activities, they are on the computers and look at me with a shock expression visibly on their faces. They stood up immediately as I advanced toward them with a smirk playing on my lips. They must have known the reason why I am here. I ignored their greetings.

　　"You guys must have known the reason why I am here because it is obvious already, now who hacked the stock share and who is behind the operation." They all looked at each other without saying anything.

　　"Give us minutes boss, we are going to find out who is the person behind it." I nod my head and sit on an empty swivel chair resting my head with my legs crossed against each other.

　　They all sat on their various seats and faced their computers before operating on it. After minutes of fast typing one of the fast agents left his gaze from his computer.

　　"Boss, have found the information you needed, it is not a person but from a particular pack."

　　"And what is the pack?"

　　"I can't find it boss, they secured their database system tightly."

　　"Okay, you don't have to worry yourself, I am going to find something about it. '' Hearing the word pack, the first pack that came to my mind was Damon pack.

　　What does he really want from me? It seems he doesn't want to relent in taking his mate back. I walk out of the control, descend the stairs leading to my main office. I open the transparent glass door and walk in, smiling as the cold air of the AC brushes my skin. I walked toward my glass table which was filled with files and documents to work. I sat on the swivel chair and heave out.
