Jake
I woke up to feel the rays of sun shining down on me. I squint at the rays shining down on me and feel Lethargic as I rise up. I look down to see myself naked. What happened last night?
That was when I heard a breath beside me and felt alert. I did not expect anybody beside me. Swiftly, I whipped my head to the side, only to see a mop of ginger hair and milky skin beside me.
It was Sandra
Why was she beside me? And the both of us were naked. I felt anger rise up in me at the thought that she had taken advantage of me, using her tricks.
I didn't want her or to be near her. Rage bubbled up inside me the more I kept looking at her until I could no longer stand the sight of her.
I used his arm to push her shoulder harshly, making her wake up. She was still dead asleep so I did it again, much more harshly which made her wake up.
She woke up with a slight moan which grated my ears. She looked at me with her eyes squinted and pouting, as though everything was normal; she kept looking at me leisurely before yawning.
"Jake, good-“
"Get out." I said.
She paused and froze, still staring at me, as though she couldn't decipher what I was saying. She came closer and reached out to touch my arm before speaking
"What do you-?"
The moment her fingers came in contact with my arm I shoved them away, pushing her away in the process. She fell ungracefully to the edge of the bed, the only thing saving her from completely falling was the grip she had on the sheets she used to cover her body.
I was already burning with rage at her presence in my bed, but her touching me was the last straw. I turned to her, my eyes glowing. She flinched at my look.
"I said Get. The hell. Out of my room." I spoke coldly in a menacing way, as I made the room temperature go cold with my magic.
She sat there, stunned and afraid with tears in her eyes which I reveled in. She did not, however, make any move.
"Perhaps you have gone deaf. Should I push you out myself?" I asked her, raising my hand about using my magic to move her away, in the most ungrateful and humiliating way of course.
She blinked and a tear slipped out from her eye before shaking her head fervently "no. No please, I’ll go myself."
I give a sneer, making her flinch. "I give you ten seconds to leave. Else..." I leave the threat unsaid as I lean on the headboard and close my eyes counting down to ten. There was rustling of fabric and the sound of footsteps, before the door opened and shut. I could hear the sniffing in the distance. I opened my eyes once the door shut to see that she was gone, all traces of her presence here vanished. Now relaxed, I lay on the headboard.
Good riddance.
I looked to see that she had taken the sheets with her, leaving me bare. It was not a problem. I thought to myself. I had many more to replace it after all.
My heart lifted as I remembered Carlisle in her room. Despite the time which had passed, the thought of knowing that she was in the same vicinity as I was brought a thrill to me. I felt the urge to visit her again. I stood up off the bed, heading for the door before halting my movements.
I wanted to see her badly. But, I thought as I looked at my frame, I could not see her in the state I was in.
Plan made, I swiftly turned around and headed to the bathroom. I took a shower and brushed my teeth to make sure that every part of me was glowing. I had to look my best to see her after all.
Leaving my bathroom clad in only a towel, I went to my walk-in wardrobe and used my magic to bring some clothes towards me, looking at all of the floating clothes critically to choose among them.
The suit and tie? Too formal
Sweatshirt, too casual
Robes? Too suggestive
I continued the selection until I decided on a simple black silk shirt with golden embroidery and a pair of loose pants. Mind made me change into an outfit.
Checking myself in the mirror I nodded, approving of my outfit. I am ready now. I stepped out of my room and into the hallway to go to Carsile's room.
Reaching the door she was behind, I couldn't hear crying at the moment. Perhaps she has now misunderstood the futility of it all. I felt my hopes rise and took a deep breath before entering.
She was sitting up on the bed, her knees close to her chest with her arms wrapped around both of them. Judging by her mussed hair and her frame, I knew that she had only woken up just recently. She looked contemplative before she turned to look at me standing by the door.
I felt my heart lurch just by looking at her. Even when she has just awoken, she still looks as beautiful as ever. Her golden blonde hair falls like a halo over her frame. With the nightdress she was wearing and her posture, she looked so small and fragile. It awakened the protective instincts in me. I wanted to hold her tight in my arms and never let go.
The only thing missing in the picture I painted, what stopped me from going to her and doing just what I wanted was her eyes. Her silvery green eyes, swollen and red rimmed, were staring at me. They were blank, filled with indifference yet they looked so cold.
I felt shivers come upon me at the stare. It felt like I was sucked into a freezer. I hid it well however, giving an enthusiastic smile. I spread my arms out and circled in one place, showing her my luxurious outfit.
"I dressed up like this for you. Do you like it?" I asked, my voice bright and happy, contrasting the mood of the room.
I began to pace around the room and talk. I began with the past few days, and seeing my wife in my room and veer from topic to topic. I was careful however, to not mention Damon, her friends, or anything which may give a hint of my plans for her.
I kept talking from talking about my day to saying the most outrageous things and even cracking a few jokes. But no matter what I said, she never had any reaction, her eyes still looked at me with that cold, indifferent gaze. Her pose never changed. If not for her eyes following mine she looked like a statue.
I got more and more frustrated the more I stayed there, trying desperately to get a reaction from her, anything at all to make me know that there was a chance. Time passed and my results did not come.
I came towards her, now tired.
“But I fought somebody and then Damon-“I paused and panicked at my slip of tongue. I didn’t want to give her hope that Damon was still alive. I looked at her.
She still looked at me blankly but at the mention of his name her eyes which were dull held a spark in them. Something which resembled hope,
That was the last straw.
I felt my hackles rise and stepped towards her
“Why don’t you just let him go?” I
“Damon is dead. Don’t forget that you rejected him and you know what happens when a mate is rejected.” He saw the emotions pass through her eyes, sadness which was schooled into plain indifference once more.
“And besides,” he continued “I’m here aren’t I?
“Look at all this. I have a big palace filled with all the luxuries you can speak of. There are maids everywhere waiting for you by hand on foot. You don’t even have to lift a finger here. You would have never received all these luxuries if you were with him.”
He sat on the bed beside her. She didn’t react at my close proximity, only staring at me and keeping silent.
“I love you so much.” I told her pleadingly “and I will do anything, anything, to make you happy. Just say the word and I’ll do it.”
"I'm so sick of you moping like this. Just forget about Damon and love me" I said in a strangled tone, pleading for her reaction.
She only kept looking at me. I looked at her lips, plush and soft and pink. I felt my blood boil just looking at those lips. There were many times that I had considered reaching out for a taste of those lips, but I held myself back, not wanting to push her away further. But as my eyes looked up to her, I could feel my control slipping.
She kept silent, even in this close proximity she didn't give any reaction except to look at me with cold indifference in her eyes. It seemed as though I was invisible in her eyes.
I snapped and pushed myself forward, meeting her lips with mine. I moaned at the feel of her lips which were as soft as they looked. I pushed forward and licked the bottom of her lip with my tongue, before pressing harder.
I relished the feeling of kissing her. I could feel my blood going south wanting more contact. The fact that she had not pushed me away gave me more courage. I pressed forward, my tongue reaching the seam of her lips, seeking allowance.
I do not know how it happened because soon I felt a sharp sting in my cheek and soon after I felt myself being pushed. My breath was taken away as my back collided with the ground harshly.
In a few seconds I had recovered and sat up coughing lightly. I looked up in confusion to see her sitting above me, a frightening scowl on her face.
I could finally see the myriad of emotions on her face. In her eyes there was hatred, disgust, and most of all, rage.
"Get. Out." Her voice, hoarse and scratchy-most likely from unused- spoke her first words to me.
I would have laughed from the irony as those words were the same words I told the queen earlier. This was not a laughing matter however and I couldn't help but feel meek at the look she gave me.
In order to salvage my pride, I stood up, dusting my shirt lightly, keeping my eyes firm on her.
"It seems like you are not in the best mood today. I will visit you later." I said, turning away and going towards the door. As I shut the door I heard the sound of something hitting the door behind me. She had thrown something, meaning to aim at me. Furious at her rejection I locked the door and walked away from the hall angrily.
I knew I was wrong for kissing her so abruptly but I couldn't help it. I had grown tired of her resistance, I needed the love potion now more than ever.
As I walked, I could still feel the sting of the slap she gave me. Reaching up to my cheek I hiss at the sparks of pain I felt. She slapped me very hard it seems and the fact only made me angrier.
I walked the hallway with a destination in mind, determination filling my veins. I had to find the forbidden leaf and get the wizard to make the love potion. Only then could I have her completely.
Only then will she be fully mine.
