DAMON.

　　Walking out of the throne room, I heaved out in relief. I walked to the hallway leading to outside the pack instead of the way to my chamber. I want to head to the pack just to make a good decision which I would initiate to make a nice decision. Getting to the front of the pack leading out to the forest, I stopped on my track as I heard a whoosh sound behind me. I turned back in an instant with a cautious act. I shake my head with a sigh as Kieran comes into view. He was with a bow and a quiver crossed around his neck filled with arrows. He wants to hunt.

　　"When would you stop chasing after me in this way?"I said, turning my back to him heading toward the forest.

　　"This day the moon goddess stops existing"he said with a smile and I chuckled softly at his statement.

　　"And Alpha where could you be heading to now?"

　　"Heading to the forest just to erase some thoughts from my mind. Would you like to go to the forest with me?"even though I know he would be interested in going with me.

　　"But Alpha if you want to erase any thoughts in your mind I thought you would want to go to the club to have more fun than in the forest"this idea he brought was really good but I can't afford to do such a grief mistake I did which I'm not free from now.

　　"You know what? I don't want to go or attend any club and I have my reason"

　　"And what could the reason be? Because this is unusual of you"

　　"You know what? Are you going with me or to the club because I can see you want to hunt?"I said sounding authoritative and walked deep into the forest. He ran after me like a lad.

　　"Wait for my Alpha. I'm sorry, don't be annoyed. But you know you don't have to take everything personal right?"he said but I didn't bother to reply to him or respond, just walking deep into the forest drowning in thoughts. I suddenly stopped on my track as an idea popped into my head. I was thinking if I should try to hunt down at least an animal to relieve my mental stress so that I would be able to think straight. Kieran looked at me as I walked toward him.

　　"Can you lend me your hunting weapons? I want to hunt an animal to relieve my head from the mental stress which I'm passing through."He seemed to be surprised but he didn't utter a word. He took the quiver off from his neck and stretched it to me with the bow. I collected it and crossed the quiver around my neck.

　　"It is necessary and nice idea"

　　"So stay here while I hunt down a big animal in the next few minutes. I will take my leave to the deep coast side of the forest"

　　"Okay no problem. Take care Alpha, hope you won't stay long on the coast side?"he said and sat on a rock with his head lying on a tree behind him. I nodded with a flash smile before proceeding into the coast side direction. I could feel his gaze on me as I proceeded deep into the forest.

　　I hope it'll be a very good and juicy antelope or deer.

　　Those animals are very rich in vitamins and they are quite easy to kill, as well as the obvious fact that they can sustain three of us for very long. However, as I continue to search, my energy level slowly depletes and I sigh loudly. At this point, I'm annoyed by the fact that I cannot seem to find even a small animal to kill. I look up again as the sky has darkened more and I groan.

　　Finally, after a few more unsuccessful tries, I give up and begin to head back to Kieran. However, as soon as I turn to leave, I hear a small shuffling behind me. When I turn, I find a small antelope hiding behind some bushes. At first, I shake my head at the thought that it is my vision playing tricks again but when I close my eyes and open them back, the antelope is still there.

　　Slowly and carefully, I draw back my arrow and prepare to shoot. Just as I am about to do so, I rethink my actions and instead drop my weapons on the ground. I grin at the animal that's still standing there, unsuspecting as he munches on a fistful of grass. Slowly, I remove my clothes and shift into my wolf form. I offer a silent prayer to the goddess for the fact that she made our transformations so painless and silent. If not, I know for sure that the antelope would have long gone.

　　Now that I am ready and my claws are sharp, I squint my eyes at the animal and my wolf grins widely. The wolf vision makes it much clearer and I can clearly see the shape and contours of the antelope. Slowly stalking towards it, I am about to raise my claws when I misstep on a branch and its ears perk up. I see the look of terror on its face as its eyes widen at the noise and then looks at my face.

　　Before I can even curse my clumsiness and the branch I stepped on, the antelope darts away. I blink my eyes and growl slowly as I quickly give it a chase. Because of its sharp head start, it gains a few meters on me but I hotly give it a chase. I expertly run across the length of trees and grasses as I pin my eyes on it and begin to close the distance between us.

　　Soon, I reach within a few feet of it and already tired of running, I pin it down with my claws. It immediately falls to the ground in front of me and tries its best to fight, kicking my face with the limbs and howling loudly. However, it knows I'm clearly the predator and I just continue to pin it down with its throat till it begins to gasp for air. At that point, I know for sure that I have won but my wolf instinct kicks in and I walk a few more steps towards it.

　　I am ready to see the pain and fear in its eyes and I am not disappointed. Soon, it stops trying to fight and at that moment, I use my claw to sever its head. I am certainly used to killing animals and removing their heads, yet this time my stomach recoils in shock and a gasp escapes my lips when I see the blood running down its body.

　　I am not sure if it's the sight of the animal dying or that there is something wrong, but I quickly clean my hands with some nearby leaves and dispose of the head. At that point, I transform back into my human form and wear my clothes again, grinning at the sight of the animal.

　　"Come and carry this animal I hunted right now"I think, linked to Kieran wolf. It didn't take up to a minute he whoosh at my front with his wolf speed. He was surprised as his eyes landed at the dead antelope beside me. He wasn't surprised by the fact that I usually hunt more wild animal but for the fact that I could find and hunt antelope at this time of the season, it is really rare to find a small one, not to mention a big antelope.

　　He moved toward the antelope and caressed its body a bit before carrying it on his neck. I picked the bow and arrow, and handed it over to him. This hunt really helped me as I thought because right now my head seems to be free. Maybe I should get a comfortable spot in the forest and relax my head before getting back to the issue at hand because I have to find something to do about it before it is too late. Even though I don't know what next step I should take.

　　"Alpha, if I may ask how you were able to hunt the antelope?''I didn't bother to reply, he just always wanted to get to the other side of me. He had already known that I didn't make sure of that arrow because my claws mark was printed on the wolf. I adjusted my clothes properly before walking back to the forest while he followed me from behind whistling some werewolf songs.

　　Finding a nice spot, I walked toward the direction and sat on the grassy floor while lying my head on the tree behind me. The forest is mostly filled with large trees. He slammed the dead antelope on the floor before taking a seat beside me.

　　"Alpha thanks, this is really a good catch. I love it"he said, I couldn't reply to him but only nodded. I'm in my world of thought right now thinking of everything, how and what decision I should take. I'm thinking of the consequences and everything attached to it if I should agree to my mother's advice. My thought is what if Carlisle doesn't love Jake and changes her mind to take me back. What would I do? That was the thought that was roaming in my head right now.

　　"Alpha, can I know what is wrong with you? I have noticed you've been thinking and your face doesn't look good. You know I'm your Beta. If anything is wrong, I think there is nothing bad if you share it with me. Nevermind about that, I want to confirm something from you which I hope I don't get snubbed at the end. I heard that the Alpha Kingston, Alpha of the River flow pack came to the pack to visit you with his Luna ''I looked at me as he made this statement. He is right. I haven't been that way. I was just always brooding and thinking in my own world of thoughts. Even though I don't like it, I don't have a choice because I have to find a solution before it is too late and I lose the Alpha throne to another person. I nodded with a sigh.

　　"So what do you need to know?"

　　"If I may ask, may I know the purpose of the meeting or visit of the River flow pack because I know Alpha Kingston wouldn't come to visit you without an important purpose. If I could remember that he came for your help then in the form of visit"as he said it that I remembered the day even though Alpha Kingston came to my pack that another pack is waging a war against his pack. And his pack isn't as powerful as the pack which is waging war against his pack. We had to join an alliance with him and fought the pack and won victoriously even though we lost some of our warriors then. My mind wasn't there because I'm just doing nothing but thinking. I faced him to give him the answer to the question. He listened attentively as I explained all what Alpha Kingston had told me. He opened his mouth in shock as I explained the part that the Alpha with the cute wanted his Luna for a nightstand. He really seemed surprised to hear it.

　　"This is really bad how I wish we can help them. But who the hell is the Alpha who could request for the Luna of another Alpha for a nightstand? I felt pity for him because he would be dethroned if he refused to find the cure."I shook my head inwardly at his feeling. If he could know what I'm passing through, he would feel entirely pity for me. I think I have to find an excuse to make him leave because his presence seems to be disturbing and distracting me which I did not want. I'm still finding an excuse to give him when the sky darkened and lightning rumbled heavily at the surface of the earth. I was surprised by the sudden change of atmosphere even though I was glad it came to my favor.

　　"Kieran, I think you should take your leave. I would meet you as soon as you can see the weather is about to fall,"I said but he seemed to be adamant about staying or leaving the forest with me.

　　"But Alpha the weather is becoming cold, we should leave for the pack together"I shook my head in disagreement.

　　"Do as I have said don't dare disobey my order, hope you understand?"he nodded and reluctantly, he carried the antelope and dashed out of the forest with his wolf speed. I heaved out in relief and laid my head on the tree behind me. I close my eyes with different thoughts flowing through my head which I don't know where to start or end with. I think taking heed to my mum's advice isn't bad for faking mates with Brittany because I can't afford to lose the Alpha throne. Immediately I thought of this decision I wanted to take, and my mind went to Carlisle. I really wish I can get her back to my warm arm.

　　Wake up every day to find her beside me but it seems nature is against me. I really missed that cute smile and face, curvy body figure and white long hair which suits her perfectly and lastly her body fragrance scent which seem to drive me crazy whenever I'm close to her. I don't know if this is a dream or I'm hallucinating, Carlisle appeared in my front a few meters from me looking as pretty as always. She stretched her hand at me and gestured to me to follow her. Immediately I stood up on my feet and followed her until we got to a very deep cliff which seemed to look like a wonderful garden with lots of beautiful flowers. She jumped into the deep cliff which was a garden to me. I wanted to jump into the cliff with her but I couldn't as a hand from behind pulled me backward. Who the hell pulled me?

　　It was then I was pushed out of my reverie day dreaming. It was damn to me that the Carlisle I'm seeing was out of numerous thoughts which are in my mind. My heart skipped immediately and my eyes landed at the deep cliff. I'm really sure that anyone who jumped into this cliff could survive because the depth was almost unmeasurable. I turned back and was shocked to see Brittany. I wasn't shocked by the fact that I saw her in the forest but by the fact that she is looking really scary right now that makes me wonder what could have happened to her. She looked rough and unkempt, her hair shattered all over her face, her eyes very red and swollen with tears that made me to Wonder what could have caused her to be this emotional.

　　All thanks if not for her I would have been dead by now because I know if not for her I would have fallen into the deep cliff.

　　I need to know what is wrong with her. There must be something that would make her look this way.
