CARLISLE.

　　I decided to walk past the guards and see what would happen. If they had seen me already, there was no point in turning back. I would still be called back and caught, but this time, I'd be the coward who was caught without even trying to make the required move. I was no coward, especially in that matter.

　　I moved toward them very slowly, expecting the worst whilst still hoping that something would happen. I felt in my heart that they were just biding their time and waiting for me to get close enough for them to ask me where I was going with my bag packed, and possibly capture me. With every step, my heart raced and a journey of a few steps began to look like a thousand miles.

　　I got close to them and saw that their eyes were closed. They were fast asleep and the sleep looked very deep. I walked past them and turned around to know if they weren't faking it but they were still dozing. I couldn't believe my luck!

　　It was then that I remembered the old maid sending one of the maids to deliver food to the guards at the house. She claimed they didn't have lunch like the other guards so they had to get food earlier than usual. The food must have also contained the sleeping substance since it was served from the same pot. I felt deserving of an award for a well-plotted plan, although luck had seemed to be on my side as I could not have known what I was supposed to do to get those guards distracted or away from their duty post.

　　The weather was really cold which was a good thing because it made sleep even more pleasurable. It was after I started walking that I realized that I had forgotten the road to most of the borders that I was taken to earlier that day. I got really confused and didn't want to run into some of the guards on my way out which would mean the end of my very short but eventful journey and the end of my life.

　　I heard something behind me; a very faint sound which caused me to halt. I hastily turned around to see if someone was following me but I didn't see anyone. It was dark so I found it very difficult to make out anything. I waited a bit to see if I'd hear any other sound but when I didn't, I continued moving. Still, I felt I was being followed by someone.

　　I hit something and was forced to stop. It felt like a human and I knew that I was in deep trouble. As my eyes cleared a bit, I saw the guy who I had collided with standing in front of me with his hand crossed. I was expecting an angry or furious look on his face but what I'm seeing on his face says another thing entirely. His face seemed to be beaming with smiles as he stared at me which caused me to wonder what is the problem or what could be the cause of his smile.

　　"What are you doing here?"I said with my voice stammering in fear as he walked toward me with a smirk on his lips. With no doubt, I knew that he wasn't here for any good. I felt a cold shiver run down my spine as he dashed at me from behind and grabbed me by my waist and drew me closer to him sniffing my scent.

　　"Why are you running from me, mate? Move closer to me. You smell so nice"he said and let out a soft growl. I was really shocked by his statement. How can I have a mate? I mean I have a mate who is Damon even though I left him but that doesn't mean that I had rejected him. What is all this goddess? Before I could even think of anything before uttering a word or statement, he carried me and planted a kiss on my lips. I had wanted to disagree but staring at his cute face I succumbed.

　　Moreover, I think the goddess made this happen because she had known that I wouldn't be able to escape from this kingdom. I turned my back as I heard a loud gasp not far ahead of us. I was surprised to see that it was some of the maids which had eaten out of the food which had sleeping substances on it. I was surprised that they were able to wake up so quickly. The substances seem to have little or no effect on them because I never thought they would recover from the effect of the substance so fast. With the looks on their face, it seems to be obvious that they haven't discovered that I'm the one behind the sleeping predicament even though it didn't take long.

　　I was somehow happy for the fact that the goddess made him my mate to take me out of the kingdom because I don't know how I would do it if they found out that I'm the one that added sleeping substances in their pot of food. Before I could think anything,

　　I felt a sudden breeze which brushed my skin at a very fast pace which caused me to wonder what was happening. I looked up as I felt the sudden change of atmosphere and environment. He dropped me gently on the floor and faced the magnificent and beautiful pack which was facing me. The structures and designs of the pack was really an outstanding one at that. The white tall tower which was attached to the pack at the left hand side was guarded by fierce looking guards.

　　I felt my cheek flushed immediately as I held my hand softly and planted a kiss on it. I was really surprised that I could blushed for a man whom I had no idea of. Just hope he isn't like Jake. I don't know if he is pretending to win my heart but it seems he is romantic.

　　He smiled softly and faced me pointing at the beautifully structured pack.

　　"Welcome to my wonderful Empire pack, my future Luna. You are highly welcome to the Crescent Moon pack"I simply smiled and nodded at his statement or words.

　　I sat on a couch in Jake's guest room with my legs crossed against each other waiting for his approval. He had gone to his room to bathe after his wife had left. I didn't know that was the reason why the guards prevented me from entering his room. He was busy having sex with his wife assistant. I was really surprised that he could do such a thing to his wife even though I had already known that he doesn't love but she is just forcing herself on him. I know there must be a reason he had done that because he doesn't have sex around with some low class ladies. Maybe he did it out of revenge that was my thoughts tho.z

　　I was in the garden thinking of random things when I heard loud sounds like arguments oozing out of Jake chamber. I thought he was having an argument with his guards but I conclude that no guards in his kingdom dare oppose him. So I decided to go to his chamber. On getting to his chamber, I heard the voice of his wife Sandra. That was when I realized that they were arguing. They were having a heated conversation, I walked toward his chamber and stood at his doorstep staring at the scenario. Jake pulled his wife roughly from his body and pushed her on the floor. She stood up from the floor and ventured out her anger by pushing me out of her way even though I tried to greet her. I only shook my head and walked into Jake chamber.

　　I have been thinking of that girl lately. I really want to know more about her from Jake. I can't take my mind off her. She has pretty eyes, cute crystal pink lips which were begging to be kissed over and over, perfect body killer shapes and curves. I wonder where she got these perfect feminine features from. She is too perfect with nice feminine features. I can't wait for Jake to be done with his bath and come to me. I would want to know where he found her or where she is from. I would like to know more about her.

　　He walked toward me with a smile on his face, he was smartly dressed. I slumped on a couch and faced me.

　　"It's really nice to meet you again. But why haven't you visited me for so long? Don't give me an useless excuse"we do talk like friends not like brothers for the people of his kingdom not to notice.

　　"Well, I'm really sorry just that I have been busy lately"

　　"And what could make you so busy that you did bother to find a way to communicate with me? Well I amn't angry with you anymore but you have to change"he nodded his head softly.

　　"I was busy with some company issues lately even though it is solved and you don't have to be worried about it. My kingdom company had almost gone into bankruptcy as an anonymous person hacked into the company database and cleared off the company stocks to his own interest."I looked at him with a smirk and he knew immediately that I was the one who was behind the sudden bankruptcy of his kingdom company.

　　"But why did you do that? I had many sleepless nights resolving the huge problem because of the pressure that the stockholder and finance managers are putting on me"he stared at me feigning an angry look. I shook my head with a sigh and a smirk appeared on my lips.

　　"Don't stare at me that way, it wasn't my fault because you didn't visit me and didn't bother to communicate with me, and I'm bored that day so I decided to clear some of your company stock to myself maybe you would try to visit me for help but to no avail"

　　"Well that is the past. But can I know why you are here? Because I know that you are always here for a reason"he is right I came to visit him whenever I need something very important.

　　"Well, if that's what you are thinking then you are wrong because I came to visit since it has been long since I heard from you and I'm not occupied with work"he simply smiled, staring at me with his hands on his chin.

　　"Well, let's be staring at each other like you have said that you just came to visit me. I really appreciate your kind gesture to visit me"I let out a chuckle at his playful tease. We both act like children whenever we are around ourselves.

　　"Well, actually I was just joking with you I came to visit you though but while coming I think I found something"

　　"And what could that be?"he stared at me with an unknown expression.

　　"Before I proceed with my explanation I would like to ask you a question. The question is do you have any new maids or something so I can conclude if I was day dreaming or hallucinating on my way to your chamber?"he stared at me again, surprised by my question. He wasn't expecting anything like that. I had never asked him such a question before.

　　"Well, I'm surprised for the question you asked but do you met any girl or lady on your way to my chamber because in my own knowledge there isn't any maid or someone new in this kingdom"I don't know but it seem he is lying to me right now because the lady I collided on was with a maid which I was familiar with. I think I have to play along.

　　"So you mean you haven't gotten any new maid or guests? Then who was that beautiful lady I saw on my way to your chamber?"

　　"Which girl did you see on your way to my chamber?"

　　"It was a beautiful girl with crystal pink lips, she had those perfect shapes and curves with a nice firm breast. She does not seem to be a maid because with the way she was dressed, she was dressed in a royal way."I could feel a glint of anger mixed with jealousy in his eyes even though he didn't make it obvious. I decided to close the talk because I don't want it to turn into another thing. With the look on his eyes, it seemed he knew about the lady and also had a soft spot for her. Or that might be the reason he doesn't show any single interest in his wife even though he doesn't love her at the beginning but he still cares for her.

　　"You don't have to think about it because it seems I'm either day dreaming or hallucinating as I have thought"he nodded gently. I looked up as a Lily and cinnamon scent mixed with vanilla hit my nose. Does this mean I'm getting my mate today?

　　Making an excuse, I walked out of his room and traced after the scent but the scent seemed to be running faster toward the forest. I dashed into the forest and the scent became more strong, I heaved in relief as my eyes landed on someone who was walking toward another direction. I dashed at her front but was surprised to see the lady that I had collided on, staring at me with fear. I looked at her with a folded arm.

　　"What are you doing here?" She said with my voice stammering in fear as I walked toward her with a smirk on his lips. She stepped some steps backward as I walked toward her.

　　"Why are you running from me, mate?"she was surprised by the word mate which I had called her.

　　I carried her in a romantic way and dashed out of Jake kingdom with my Alpha speed. It didn't take our time and we got to the pack. I could feel that she was mesmerized by the structure of my pack. I welcomed her to my wonderful pack.
