DAMON

　　Returning back to the pack, the guards at the border greeted me warmly and one of them escorted me to the main pack house. I decided to dismiss him back to his border post. All the things that Brittany's mother had said have given me motivation that nothing is going to happen so I don't think I should be scared about losing my Alpha title to another person.

　　"Thanks, you can take your leave and return to your post always remember to be very security conscious"

　　"Thank you Alpha. Have a nice day"he said and I nodded with a smile before walking into the main pack. Passing through different hallways which lead to my chamber, responding to the greetings of the pack members which come my way. Getting to my chamber, I heaved a sigh of relief and stared at the guard at the doorstep who bowed his head in respect. I nodded softly at his greetings.

　　"You are welcome Alpha"he said as he opened the door, I didn't bother to answer him because I had already walked into my chamber, the door slammed shut immediately. I'm really tired right now. I haven't taken a good rest for the past few days when I was in the witch house just because of the predicament of the Brittany mother. I slumped on the sofa couch and breathed out in relief. Today was indeed a stressful day even though I'm happy for the fact that I wouldn't be deprived of my Alpha title because Brittany's mother had accepted.

　　Getting back my strength from resting, I stood up from the couch, pulled off my clothes and put on flip flops before walking to the bathroom.

　　I switched on the shower. I ran my hand through my long hair as water flowed down to my face. I brushed my teeth before switching it off and shoved myself into the jacuzzi tub which had been filled with warm water. I grab a fragrance soap and scrub my body for a while before rinsing my body. I stood up from the jacuzzi with water dripping from my body, reached for a white towel beside me and wrapped it around my waist together with my chest region, walked out of the bathroom with a huff sound. I walked toward the wardrobe at the left side of my direction, pulled it open and brought out a nice shirt and a black jean. I slammed the door shut and put on the clothes which fitted me perfectly with my figure showing off my manly abs.

　　I walked toward a couch and sat on it with my legs crossed against each other, reaching for a werewolf novel which was on the wooden table. I picked it up and dusted the cover of the book. The title was really a good one that drew me in connection with the novel. I flip the first chapter and begin to read it with full attention.

　　I dropped the book on the table as I heard a knock on the door more like a bang.

　　"Who is at the door? You can come in if the door isn't locked"almost immediately the door squeaks open and my mom comes into view. She seems to have an angry look on her face.

　　"Good day mum"he stared at me with a scornful look which caused me to wonder what had caused her to be this angry.

　　"What is good about your day? Tell me. You left the house without dropping your location. So tell me where did you go?"

　　"Hmm, that is supposed to be the question you should have asked rather than venting your anger on me. Well, I was in the forest when Brittany came to me even though I was surprised that she found me, she said her mother is almost dead and she needs my help."I explained everything and how it went, she gasped in shock.

　　"Why did you do such a thing? Don't you know it is very dangerous and deadly to go to the sacred place where many people lose their life's. Please don't ever try that again"she said with a glint of care in her eyes. She really cares for me.

　　"Well, mum you know what I did is really going to be of help for me I mean for all us"she stared at me with a confused look.

　　"I don't understand what you are saying. Can you please shed more light to it?"

　　"Well mum, after Brittany mum had came back to life, she really appreciate the fact that I went to the sacred place to get the cure just for her, she said she would repay me by giving out her daughter Brittany to become my fake mate as you had discussed with me"my mum eyes gloom of delight as she heard the news. She really seems to be happy about the news.

　　"Do you mean that you wouldn't be expelled from the pack as the Alpha of this pack again? I'm really happy for you, so have Brittany heard about it?"

　　"No mum, her mother said that she would talk to her and she is very sure that Brittany would adhere to her talk"

　　"Hope she does"

　　"She has no choice but to agree"My mum nodded with a glimpse of happiness visibly on her face.

　　"Well, get prepared. I'm sure the elders would want to see you today to remind you because two moon nights had already passed just one remaining moon night."I nodded and flashed her a smile. She nodded and walked at the door but stopped midway.

　　"Wish you good luck"I nodded and with that she walked out of my room. It didn't take up to a minute, a knock landed on the door with a loud sound.

　　"Who is at the door?"

　　"It is the official guard, Alpha I brought a message from the council"I was surprised that what Brittany mum had said is true and real.

　　"You can come in, the door isn't locked"the door creaked open as he walked in. He bowed his head before opening the script in his hand.

　　"Good day Alpha" I nodded softly.

　　"Message from the council, the elders are in the conference hall awaiting your presence, Alpha"I nodded and dismissed.

　　"Thanks for the information, you can take your leave"he bowed his head before walking out of my chamber.

　　I stood up from the couch and checked myself out in the mirror before adjusting my dress in a proper way. I walked out of my chamber.

　　Getting to the conference hall, the guard at the doorstep opened the door and announced my presence to the elders. I could hear a murmuring sound oozing out of the conference hall even though I hadn't entered. I walked into the conference hall with my shoe echoing round the hall as the hall suddenly silent immediately I walked into the conference. The council elders of the pack all stood up from their prospective chairs as I walked into the room. I responded to their greetings. I sat on the middle chair at the front.

　　"Hope you have a nice day Alpha? We are glad that you are here today"

　　"It is a good thing that you accepted and honored our invitation to this meeting and we are very happy about it"

　　"We the elders of this pack have gathered ourselves again to remind you that the ultimatum that we gave to you is coming to an end very soon and you haven't brought back your mate. And we have concluded that we can't find your mate in the next moon night I'm afraid to say that you would be expel from the Alpha title"

　　"Alpha you aren't saying anything"the first elder concluded. The second elder, who seemed to have an unknown hatred for me, cut in.

　　"You don't have to stress yourself, the Alpha hasn't found his mate and I'm not sure he can. That is the reason why he is mute"I stared at the second elder with anger surging through my veins, I tightened my fist trying to conceal the anger I'm feeling right now. He always finds a way to get into my nerves.

　　"Why aren't you saying anything, Alpha?"

　　"What do I have to say after knowing that I can't be expelled from my Alpha title"

　　"What do you mean, Alpha?"

　　"What I meant is why would I be expelled from my Alpha title when already I have found my mate"there was an outburst of surprise and murmurs as I dropped the bombshell.

　　"Is that really the truth, Alpha? Or you are just saying this to make us feel relaxed that you have found your mate?"the second elder said which got me annoyed. I slammed my fist on the table.

　　"Elder Carlos in as much as I respect you all, I won't accept any damn shit from you"I said, sounding more authoritative. He bowed in his head in respect.

　　"You don't have to be annoyed by his foolishness. And if I may ask where is the mate as we are talking"

　　"Well, I haven't brought her home because there are still some agreements that are to be made before I bring her to the pack. So I would have bring her back to the pack before the moon night"

　　"I think you shouldn't have any problem with that. So is there any important thing you have to say and if not"

　　"I think I would have to take my leave"I stood up from the chair and walked out of the conference hall leaving them in a surprise state.

　　I think I should start doing preparation on how the wedding would be even though it is fake. I'm imagining how the atmosphere would be if they found out the truth. I don't care for whatsoever that is going to happen because I can't afford to lose my father's Alpha title. I can't afford to make my father and my mother disappointed in me.

　　CARLISLE

　　Xavier whispered to my ears as he dashed at me, sending some strange shiver down to my core. The maids had already left the room in fear. His firm hand gripped my waist, he drew me closer to him and kissed my neck before going to my pink lips. I grabbed him by his head and reciprocated his kiss with my lips licking his lips, enjoying every taste of his lips with our tongues moving in and out of our mouths. I let out a soft moan as he pushed me slightly on the bed. I shouldn't be doing this but find a way to return back to Damon but it seems my pride had a whole out of me. I wouldn't have been doing this with Xavier but it seems he had his way with me with his sweet charms.

　　We are about to make out even though we have agreed to mate with each other after making me his Luna. He climbed on me about pulling off my clothes but I held on to myself as I felt my stomach twisted with a lot of pain phasing through it. He suddenly stopped as he stared at my face with a confused look.

　　"What is wrong?"he asked with a caring look on his face.

　　"My stomach is in pain. Ohh!"I groaned in pain and to my surprise I coughed out blood from my mouth which seemed strange to me because I haven't felt any symptoms since then. He was really shocked to see me in this state. I stood up from the bed and walked toward the bathroom to clean my body up with Xavier behind me.

　　"Do you want to go in with me?"

　　"I don't mind, I don't like the way I'm seeing you"

　　"You don't have to bother about me I would be fine"I said and he nodded slowly.

　　"Are you sure that you would be fine?"I nodded before walking into the bathroom.

　　I walked into the bathroom and met the greatest shock of my life, it was the same old woman who had left me in a high cliff hanger without telling or explaining the full details she meant. I had wanted to scream but she covered my mouth with her hand. I was surprised to see her because I could remember her scent which was a werewolf scent.

　　"What do you think you are doing? You want to have sex with him, then do it and let this world perish because of your stupid deed. You should have gone to Damon but because of your stupidness and pride you had left him no choice than to we. Well find out yourself before it is too late. I hope you would be able to recover from the shock"

　　"What do you mean by-"I couldn't complete my statement as she faded out of sight. What did she mean? I hope nothing happens to him. I have to find out for myself right now. I rushed out of the bathroom and pushed Xavier out of my way. I got out of his chamber running toward the direction which led to the main exit of the pack. I didn't bother to look at the surprised stares which the maids were throwing at me.

　　AUTHOR NOTE

　　In Blood Moon pack, it was a peaceful and pleasant afternoon, the atmosphere of the pack was really a pleasant one at that. Everywhere was booming music which oozed out of the pack. The maids were busy doing one thing or the other to make the preparation of Damon and Brittany's wedding a superb and fantabulous one at that.

　　Damon is in the guest room getting dressed for the day. His mind is finally at rest because his mind seems to be relieved from stress. He was happy for the fact that he wouldn't be derived from his Alpha title and his plan to become Brittany fake mate is coming back to life.

　　Brittany is in the dressing room with a lot of maids in the room making sure that she is very beautiful and pleasant. Annabel was really happy that Brittany would be her brother's mate even though she knew that something is fishy but didn't dig deep about it. One of the maids announced to them that the traditional ritual bonding is about to be done.

　　Everyone was present outside the pack as the ritual was about to get started. Damon and Brittany were sitting on the mattress with their legs crossed against each other in a meditating posture. They were about to make the oath when the door suddenly pulled open as Carlisle walked in with a curious look. She felt the whole world crashed on her as her eyes landed on Damon and Brittany. She was really surprised and shocked. She felt her eyes dizzy and fell on the floor unconscious.

　　Damon had wanted to go after her but he restricted himself so as not to raise any suspicious awareness. He felt sad seeing her in that state. Some of the maids took her to a sick room.
