After Sean left, I turned to Liam with an apologetic expression, guilt weighing heavily on my chest.

"I'm so sorry about that," I said, reaching out to touch his arm gently. "Sean had no right to be so hostile toward you."

He's always causing problems. Even when he's trying to help, he just makes everything worse.
