I couldn't sleep that night. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Mira's confused face when I found her in that corner.

Something doesn't add up. Kids don't just fall asleep in random places.

Especially not Mira. She's always been cautious.

I kept replaying the whole day in my mind. We were getting ice cream, everyone was happy, and then suddenly she was gone.

How does a four-year-old just disappear like that?

And why can't she remember anything?
