As soon as I reach the house, I head up to my office to get some work done. There was a brief knock on the door and Érica came through.

“Is there a problem?” I sighed, not ready for whatever she had in store for me today.

“Oh nothing”, the nonchalance with which she said it gave me a hunch that there was something. But I did not care to hear it. “Just wanted to see if you were okay, I saw Ashina come in earlier and you were not with her,” she shrugged.
