“Exactly are we going?” I asked Érica as we weaved carefully through the smoldering field fire. I knew the smoke from burning wolfsbane was lethal to us werewolves, but fortunately, wolfsbane burns quickly, and the smoke fades even faster.

“I had no idea they were gonna burn the whole field,” Érica grunted as she wound her way through the charred grass. The entire field was overgrown to almost the length of an adult person. “I just need a few of these babies.”
