I stilled at the sight and before I could force my body to move, I saw the dagger dig into Ashina's skin and it took everything in me to not lose my mind at the sight.

Ashina had been stabbed. She had taken a dagger for me. I forgot about the fight, Jeremiah and everything that I was doing and ran to her side,

"Ashina!" I screamed, holding her close to my body "Why did you do that?" I felt the tears welling up in my eyes and she smiled at me "You're safe, that's all that matters" ...
