Nathan’s POV

While having our breakfast, I noticed her absence. She was having a tussle with her thoughts, I wondered what was making her fill herself with so much anticipation.

“What’s wrong with you?”

“His pancakes are so lovely, they’re just sweet as he is” she divulged, her words didn’t settle in my mind, for a moment I wondered if I heard the right words off her lips.
