The vibration of my phone woke me before the alarm did.

At first, I tried to ignore it — pulling the blanket over my head, groaning into the pillow. But it wouldn’t stop. Ping after ping.

When I finally reached for it, my lock screen was glowing with notifications — texts, mentions, voice notes, and way too many unread messages.

For a second, I couldn’t even tell where to start. Then I saw Kendra’s name.
