I sighed heavily, wondering how a bath could turn ambiguous, but I couldn’t voice out my concern maybe because I didn’t see it as one.

“Is the water too cold?” he asked, and I nodded my head, as I couldn’t make words because his lips on my neck were messing with my thoughts.

His fingers grazed my thigh gently, and I sucked in my breath as my insides knotted with something unfamiliar.

“Should I heat the water for you?” he teased.
