I watched as the maid walked out of my chamber; the graceful smile I had on slipped, and a frown replaced it instead. I couldn't believe a maid was so bold as to scheme against me.

I could see through her act because I had been there once. I acted on people's emotions and used them to do what I did. It was the perfect way to ruin people without getting my hands dirty, but I would give her credit for creativity, she chose her victim well.
