Michel de Nostredame, or Nostradamus as he is better known, lived from 14 or 21 December 1503 to 2 July 1566. Born in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, he entered the University of Avignon at the age of 15, but was forced to leave in less than a year when it was forced to close due to an outbreak of the plague.
