Cathal trusted his instincts as few men did. He couldn't explain or answer why when asked. There was a force and an energy that existed that he could rely and depend on. It wasn't whimsical or arbitrary; the energy was pure, honest and powerful. He felt it as a man feels pain or love - you can sense it, feel it, know it is there, but cannot expound on.
