The lord marshal and Sir William had been quartered in the Order tower inside the first district of Tothmor. Since arriving, they had spent their days with Marshal Leonard, preparing the campaign and drawing up battle plans; occasionally they had included the local nobles such as Stephen, Theodora's father.
