Andrea had exaggerated a little when she'd talked with Trals about flying back to the future. Hilbert Space vehicles weren't going to get as cheap as jets any time soon. But with the beacon they'd left with Vrem and Turtle, and then all the other beacons set up by governments and scientists and venture capitalists, flying back and forth between the time lines wasn't much worse than chartering a shuttle to the space station.
