It was a simple thing for Fresco to open up and find Daniel and follow the trail back to him. It was quite another to soothe the trio when he led Garris into their hiding place. The old Genvieve probably would have killed him on the spot. This new and fragile version, however, just stared with a broken expression, her pain so raw and open Fresco felt like he betrayed her.
