Join hands with him? I think, no, I was certain I had heard him wrong.

I badly wanted to ask him to repeat what he said but I had a headache coming in. I'd rather dismiss the whole thing.

“I think you were right. I should get more rest. Why don’t you leave now?” I asked him, exhausted.

He didn’t say anything instantly. He held eye contact, not backing down, but neither did I.

“I guess this discussion should be postponed then,” He soon faltered. “You should rest.” ...
