SLOANE

The instant he said that, I stopped walking all of a sudden, looking at him in panic.

“W…what do you mean by our son?” I almost choked on my voice as I asked him. He hasn’t spoken yet, my chest was already tightening.

“Is he not?” He stepped a foot closer, a growl escaping him. “You can’t deny he isn’t mine, Sloane.”

He stared into my eyes, with his dark clear ones, not for once looking away. Which made it harder to turn away or find the right words to say.
