"You should get some sleep," I heard Jared say as he walked into my study. I looked up at him with a blank expression and he released an exasperated sigh.

"When was the last time you allowed yourself to fall asleep?" He asked, sinking into the chair in front of my desk.

I probably looked like a mess. My mind was constantly plagued by reminders of my failures. I was barely holding on to the sanity I had left.
