POV

For a moment, I think he might kiss me or claim me, and a part of me actually wants him to, but to my disappointment, he doesn’t. He just stares at me for some seconds without a word, searching my eyes. His hands are gripping my shoulders, and when he lets me go, he scratches his eyebrow, and that’s when I notice that he’s bleeding.

“Oh my goodness, Alpha Killian. “You’re bleeding,” I say, and he just scrunches his face. “Your hand.”
