Xena froze in place. Seeing the CEO at work talking to Felix, made Xena really want to run away from that place. Looking for a hiding cave so that CEO Max, who is known to be fierce and perfectionist, will not see him.

"How can Felix like CEO Max?"

"Felix is very satisfied because Max Liam's empathy is very good towards him. Approach him now!"

"Why does it have to be Max Liam? He's the CEO of my workplace. Very fierce and hard to approach. I'm sure Felix isn't the only guy that Felix likes. This is only the first day, there will be many more men to meet later."

Xena tries to reject Max Liam as a candidate for Felix's father. He didn't want to have anything to do with his boss, it was just his job that made him emotional because he was dealing with Max Liam's attitude.

"I can't let Felix choose Max Liam as his father," Xena muttered to herself.

However, the system remains in place. Xena's heart was heard by the system and immediately popped up the square screen again.

"Max Liam is qualified. Then it can't be changed anymore.

System notifications frustrated Xena. He couldn't imagine having to approach Max Liam later. All of her co-workers might be excited and think she is a seductress who doesn't know herself. Never mind the usual self, even the most beautiful and sexiest are often rejected outright by Max Liam.

"Little boy, your hand is scratched and your leg is injured. There is a little blood. Do you feel like your hand is sprained?" asked Max Liam. He watched Felix's hand, it seemed that the little boy seemed to find it very difficult to move because of the pain from being stepped on earlier.

"Why are there black marks on his arms? I seem to see them a lot?" thought Max Liam.

"No uncle, it looks like it's just an ordinary wound," said Felix, smiling very sweetly.

"Kids where are your parents? Why are you alone in such a crowded place?"

"I'm with my mom," Felix answered quickly. Then his head looked back. His eyes darted around looking for Xena.

"Now that's my mother, Uncle," said Felix, pointing at Xena, who could only see her back.

Felix's voice made Xena's knees go weak. He still turned around, pretending he didn't hear. According to Xena, it's better for her to approach Felix after Max Liam leaves.

"I should have left earlier and waited elsewhere. Why are you still here?" Xena thought.

"Mommy..." Felix shouted loudly.

Because there was no response from Xena, Felix immediately ran over to her. "Mom," Felix called again. This time holding the skirt that Xena was wearing.

"Yes."

Still keeping her head down Xena dared to turn around. Xena smiled shyly as she rubbed her forehead which was suddenly sweating. "Felix, my mother has been looking for you. I know you're here. Let's go home," Xena said. Covering his face with the back of his hand so Max Liam wouldn't recognize him.

Unfortunately, Max Liam had approached and recognized him first. Max Liam looks silent for a moment. He remembered that Xena was a new employee at his company. Max Liam caught a glimpse of Felix's face, then matched it with Xena. "Is this little boy your son?"

Xena nodded and forced a smile. Trying to act normal towards Max Liam. But his heart was beating erratically. "Y-yes that's right, CEO Max. His name is Felix."

Max Liam frowned. His head shook slowly. If Felix is Xena's son, why are their faces so different? Felix has bluish eyes with blonde hair. As for Xena, her hair and eyeballs are black.

"If so, your son, why did you let this small child roam alone in a public place? Look at him like he was confused and trampled earlier."

"We were accidentally separated earlier, CEO Max," Xena said still with a pounding heart.

Max Liam said curtly. He is known to be cold and fierce towards his subordinates. But for matters of employee benefits and welfare, Max Liam always comes first. Seeing the children of his employees who were not taken care of, he felt a little sympathetic. Especially when he saw Felix wearing very shabby clothes, he thought Xena was very poor and lacked money.

"I don't know how much trouble there is in your life, that you have no shame. Buy proper clothes for your child and take your child to the clinic to treat his wound."

Max Liam said while giving some money in Felix's hand. Xena who saw that was so dumbfounded. No, he should not accept money for nothing. He really doesn't like being given money for nothing. However, before Xena returned it, Max Liam had already left.

"CEO Max, we don't lack money. I can buy clothes for my child with my own money. I also have money to take Felix for treatment," Xena shouted.

However, because it was too crowded and noisy, Xena's screams were not heard by Max Liam. He had to rush to meet a client to talk business.

"Huh, why are you walking so fast? Where's CEO Max?" Xena thought, her head was still turning right and left, but the man disappeared very quickly.

“Felix, we can't accept money from uncle earlier. Mama still has money to buy your clothes," Xena said while taking the bills in Felix's hand and putting them in his pocket.

Felix smiled and nodded. Because he had become Xena's child, he agreed and did what he said just now.

"Because there are no children's clothes at Mama's house, we are going to the clothes shop now. Mommy will buy clothes that are nice and decent for you. After that, we will go to the clinic."

"Thank you, Mommy. I'm very happy. I'm sorry I made Uncle scold Mama earlier."

Xena rubbed the top of Felix's head. "It's okay, Felix. That guy is really hot-tempered, so there's no need to be weird," Xena replied with a chuckle. After that the two walked towards the clothing store.

Meanwhile elsewhere, Max Liam is sitting in a cafe with his client. Before discussing work issues, Max Liam was stunned thinking about Felix.

"That little fellow, why is he so familiar? He has black marks on his arms. I seem to have seen him many times before. But where?" muttered Max Liam.

The next day at Prosperity Company. Xena was standing looking hesitant about knocking on the door of a room. Well, this is the first time he's going into the CEO's room, and his goal is to give Max Liam's money back yesterday.

"I can't take this money. Like it or not, I have to give it back now."

After exhaling long enough. Xena dared to knock on the door, and soon the door was opened. A male employee immediately asked Xena to enter. "CEO Max only has five minutes before he leaves for a meeting," the employee warned.

Xena nodded in agreement. After all he just wanted to return his money after that back to work again. Now, Xena was standing in front of Max Liam who was busy taking care of the preparations for the meeting.

"Good morning, CEO Max. Sorry to bother you for a moment," Xena greeted.

Max Liam stopped his activities, then looked at Xena. "Morning, Miss Xena. What do you need?"

A little hesitant, Xena takes out some of the bills Max Liam gave her yesterday, then places them on the table. "I can't accept this money."

Max Liam's brow furrowed. Looking at the money, then looking at Xena. Max remembered the money was his gift yesterday. Why did Xena bring it back again?

"Miss Xena, I gave her the money out of pity. Like an abandoned child."

"Thank you CEO Max. But I still have money to support my own child."

CEO Max doesn't believe Xena would be a good mother. Just looking at yesterday, he was sure that Xena didn't care at all.

"Would I believe it?"

"CEO Max, this is a personal matter for my family."

Max Liam stood up, glaring at Xena. "Miss Xena, I can't allow a child to be abandoned by its mother. Moreover, my own employees have abandoned it. Just seeing the appearance of the child yesterday I can't believe you are such a good mother. Your son's hair is so shabby as if it hasn't been washed in a week, but you don't look the least bit embarrassed."

Max Liam's words just made Xena flinch. Well what Max Liam said is true, because he doesn't know the problem. Xena was sure that the man would not believe her and would think that she was not good at taking care of Felix.

"Maybe it's because I'm too busy. I have to arrange time to work and take care of it myself," Xena answered quite calmly without changing her facial expression.

Max Liam didn't like Xena's answer. He spoke a little snapped. "That's no excuse. You're a mother and you have to take responsibility!"

Xena is used to being yelled at because of wrong work matters. But he did not accept at all if his personal affairs were interfered.

For the first time Xena dared to look closely at a Max Liam. Then say very firmly. "If you can take responsibility, then you can be the father?"
