Chapter 431 The Little Ghost and the Old Ghost

The stone gate with the usual furnishings is somewhat similar to the entrances to those old towns.

Two large, bare stone pillars serve as the main support, while two lifelike figures stand beside them.

The figure on the left holds a trident with an oddly shaped animal impaled on it that looks like a bat with an extra pair of wings than a bat.

The person on the right was like stepping on an animal that looked like a lion and a leopard or something like that, and his paws were right on the heart of that animal, and he was even squeezing a heart directly in his hand.

These two statues are a vicious look, Cheng Xiaoxiao did not hold back to look at a few more eyes, actually the more you look at the more shocked, and finally directly head sweating face pale gasping for air.

"I forgot to tell you not to look them in the eye."

White Impermanence finally reacted only when Cheng Xiaoxiao nearly threw up in disgrace, and he stretched out his ghastly white right hand to make a light point in front of Cheng Xiaoxiao's forehead.

A glistening white light flashed, Cheng Xiaoxiao only felt something cool and silky seeping into her brow, and the original symptoms of dizziness and nausea dissipated one by one.

Cheng Xiaoxia wanted to spit out a 'don't be a horse's ass about everything' at Bai Zunyi, but since she had just suffered and was being solved by Bai Zunyi, she decided that it would be appropriate for her to obediently shut up first.

It doesn't seem very generous to turn on someone after you've taken their favors.

Mainly Cheng Xiaoxiao is still afraid, she is afraid of a little something, if she really messed with the black and white invincible, then no one to care about her that will not be the end of the game.

It was a pity that Cheng Xiaoxiao had not counted on the fact that the Black and White Irregulars had no intention of accompanying her next.

White Impermanence and Black Impermanence wrapped their arms around their chests, and White Impermanence smiled and gestured at Cheng Xiaoxiao:

"Don't worry about going, we'll be right here at the door."

To go? Where to?

I'm alone?

Cheng Xiaoxiao incredulously pointed her index finger at her nose, and then pointed at the Black and White Irregulars:

"You guys aren't going in? Want me to be alone?"

Black Impermanence nodded coldly, while White Impermanence was kind enough to nudge his mouth towards the stone door:

"Just step through this door, and inside is Niludu Hell. Make it quick, it's not convenient for us to show our faces."

How is it inconvenient?

Cheng Xiaoxia just wanted to ask, how did it become inconvenient again?

Earlier, it was said that they were understaffed and couldn't make the schedule.

Why is it that every time you find a new excuse, you always come up with so many fancy lame excuses.

Even though Cheng Xiaoxiao was no longer willing, she had already come this far, so she could not turn back and retreat.

She had thought of it all, and the Black and White Irregulars must have expected her to think this way as well, which was why they delayed telling her until now.

If I had known earlier, I would have just spit it out directly, still taking into account so many vain things, and as a result, I am now missing the opportunity. Now, if she opened her mouth again to talk about what happened just now, it would rather appear that she was small-minded.

Cheng Xiaoxiao could only silently mark this matter down for the Black and White Irregulars again, and after all was said and done, it was still not a consolation for herself. Looking forward to the next time you can directly dislike them, at least tell them they can't pit themselves like this anymore.

Cheng Xiaoxia ground her feet towards the stone door.

She took one step and turned back three times, although her heart was still thinking about how to deal with the Black and White Irregulars next time, her body was honestly trying to get some comfort from the two ghosts behind her.

Big brothers give me some moral support, I am really panicking.

Cheng Xiaoxiao would have been better off if she didn't know that behind the stone door in front of her was an illusion, favoring the fact that she knew the doorway in here ah.

Knowing it was an illusion and not knowing the real scene behind the illusion.

It's the half-knowledge that's the most abrasive.

Cheng Xiaoxiao's heartbeat inexplicably sped up as she took one apprehensive step forward. Obviously it was only a distance of a few hundred meters, but it felt like she had walked out for a century.

She wouldn't be looking towards the back of the room at this point, mostly because at first the White Impermanence would still be smiling and waving at her or something.

However, just now, White Impermanence had already resumed the posture of ringing his arms at the beginning, and even pretended that he didn't see Cheng Xiaoxiao in general to start chatting with Black Impermanence.

As she can't count on anyone else, Cheng Xiaoxiao naturally relies on herself.

Even with all the dawdling, the measly few hundred meters were still finished by her.

Looking at the stone door that was close at hand, Cheng Xiaoxiao took a deep breath.

She closed her eyes and said three times, "I'm a Siren." , then slowly opened her eyes and took a step through the stone door without further hesitation.

Don't ask why it's that phrase or why it's three times.

Without this relief, Cheng Xiaoxia was afraid that she would be so nervous that her legs would shake.

As the hem of the blue dress shifted, Cheng Xiaoxiao's figure at the stone door instantly disappeared into thin air.

The stone door resumed its emptiness when no one was there, and the opposite side remained an infinitely blank nothingness.

Cheng Xiaoxiao, who had passed through the stone door, saw a sudden darkness before her eyes, and a wave of heat that came to her face almost smoked her eyes.

She squinted as she surveyed what was in front of her, her nostrils filling with an unpleasant smell of burning and a mixture of various rotting things.

What was in front of us was a passageway that was neither too long nor too short.

A path so cramped that there was only room for one person to pass alone.

Dim oil lamps hung on the walls on either side, and there were so many bloodstained chains dangling off to the side that I wasn't sure if it was considered decorative or not.

It turns out that behind the stone door is the passageway to this level of hell.

Reasonable and expected.

Cheng Xiaoxiao squinted and waited for her eyes to adjust to the dim light before slowly returning to her usual normal appearance.

She took a few more tentative steps forward before turning around to see where she had just come in.

As she expected, the area where she had just come to stand was just a wall. The wall looked so flat and unassuming that one would never expect it to be an exit.

Hell really is full of tricks.

Cheng Xiaoxiao smacked her lips and patted the bag and jade pendant hanging around her neck, finally starting her official fantasy adventure.

I will watch over you on behalf of the moon and justice!

The Remnants, I'm coming!

Cheng Xiaoxiao looked carefully at the ground in front of her, she walked slowly, exploring and feeling her way forward one careful step at a time.

But you just don't dare hold on to the wall.

Who knows if there will be anything strange on this wall, in case she rubs something on her hand again, she guesses that she can have the heart to chop off her hand.

Cheng Xiaoxiao went all the way forward, and the further she went inside Niludu, the more she felt that rusty smell at the tip of her nose getting heavier, and that rotting smell if any became more and more obvious.

As she stomped her foot, her already dim vision became even more claustrophobic, which caused her to squint her eyes again.

The stumbling she had just done made her unsteady, and in a panic her first instinct was not to know what to hold on to.

She rose from the darkened ground and raised both of her propped up hands to her eyes and patted them casually.

Just this one she screamed right out, hating to die on the spot, but she was able to stop the latter part of her voice by gritting her teeth hard.

The voices gradually died down, and she hurriedly looked around to quickly search for them, while her hands were held dully in front of her chest, rather like a surgeon washing and drying his hands before an operation.

Only what they dried was water, while what Cheng Xiaoxiao had on her hands was blood.

When she got up from the ground just now she said how sticky it was, now what is there not to understand, this hand of sticky blood is the best explanation.

Not finding any tools to use, she looked at the blood on her hands in despair, only to realize that the dark red blood that had been blackened was actually fading.

Incredulously, she raised her hand closer and moved her whole body to the wall again, getting close to the heel of the bean-sized kerosene lamp.

By this time the blood on her hands had faded to a translucent layer of pale red, and as she surveyed it again, this last bit of color was quickly disappearing.

The shadowless trail of blood was close to being a direct satire of Cheng Xiaoxiao's fuss, and Cheng Xiaoxiao began to question life again, how everything had become so strange after coming to hell.

There was just an undertone of everything being an illusion in it, making it impossible for her to tell what was real and what was not.

Cheng Xiaoxiao repeatedly checked her hands, which had regained their whiteness, and found that there was indeed no difference before she quickly walked back to the place where she had just fallen.

It was the entrance to the end of the passageway, which just so happened to have a low step, and she just hadn't noticed that cut earlier so she'd stomped right down it.

It was a good thing she didn't walk as hard as she usually did at that time, but with a bit of tentativeness.

Otherwise she wouldn't have fallen so easily, but would have collapsed on that floor screaming.

So she was holding onto something to rub the blood?

Cheng Xiaoxiao bent down to search carefully at the entrance of the passageway, and being overly serious, she seemed to have forgotten one extremely important thing.

That is, the cries and shouts that could have been heard outside within this Niludu had come to an abrupt halt since the sound of her screams, and this would be even more terribly quiet.

The air was so quiet that even the dropping of a pin could be heard, and only Cheng Xiaoxiao's soft breathing drifted through the large hall.

This hall has a pathway directly across from it, in addition to being connected to the entrance.

Cheng Xiaoxia had already discovered it just now when she was looking for a hand rubbing tool, but that pathway was directly darker than the entrance and the hall, and she couldn't see what was actually inside.

Plus, she was too busy looking for something just now to pay much attention to it, which would still be busy at the entrance.

It wasn't just the quieting of the voices she hadn't noticed, but the wisps of dark shadows that drifted out from the pathway she hadn't been able to notice either.

The dark shadows swarmed out in the pathway and spread out to roam the halls for a long time before they finally looked like they had found their target.

They spun around each other, thrumming excitedly in mid-air, and then a cushion rushed towards Cheng Xiaoxiao, who had bent her back to them.

The black shadow came over with a gust of wind, which made Cheng Xiaoxiao feel something.

She made a sharp turn back, but unfortunately, the black shadow's speed was faster than hers, and dodged elsewhere in all directions in the instant Cheng Xiaoxiao made her move.

This also led Cheng Xiaoxiao, who was alert for once with great difficulty, to think again that she was overly nervous, or else how could she not have seen anything.

Cheng Xiaoxia stopped her paranoia and turned back to continue looking around the entrance.

"Looking for something, huh?"

A hoarse and old voice abruptly sounded, asking tentatively in Cheng Xiaoxiao's ear.

"Right. Looking for something."

Cheng Xiaoxiao replied without lifting her head, as if she didn't notice anything unusual at all.

"Probe forward, that thing is not easy to spot."

It was still the same voice from earlier, and he kindly offered to Cheng Xiaoxiao.

"Don't listen to him, you'll scream again when you touch Sam."

Another slightly younger voice sounded to Cheng Xiaoxiao's left.

"What the hell? You all hold the noise! Go back and scare the little girl."

This time, the sound came from the top left of Cheng Xiaoxiao's head, listening to this rough voice or a northeastern man ah.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, don't scare people away, we haven't had a stranger here in Niludu for a long time haven't we."

Just as soon as that voice had fallen, another voice beside him followed in agreement.
