"Father." I gasped. 

Before I could blink twice and process his sudden arrival, he swept me into a tight, crushing hug.

"Andera, my child. " He whispered as he squeezed me closer to himself.

"I cannot wrap my head around why you chose to keep this from me." His voice was laden with a mix of relief and reprimand. "You don't know how worried I was when Officer Jerkins told me about the situation. I had my pilot fly me here the moment I hung up my phone."
